Join Forth for our first fall networking event in Portland this Thursday. We're thrilled to be hosting Tanya Appuhn-Crates, Product Strategy Manager at Daimler Trucks North America. Tanya will be leading a discussion on the evolving technologies in the transportation industry and their potential effects on the freight movement. If you're interested in learning about the technologies that are being tested and deployed, and how the freight industry is advancing, this is an event for you!
 

Attendance for Forth members is $15.00 and $25.00 for non-members.
Registration includes appetizers and local beer and wine.

Tanya Apphun-Crates, Product Strategy Manager, Freightliner Trucks, DTNA

Tanya was recently appointed as the Product Strategy Manager for Active Safety, Telematics and HMI at Daimler Trucks, North America. She has had various positions at DTNA over 20 years, including Engineering, Export Sales, Vocational Sales and Medium Duty Product Planning.

The Future of Mobility: Autonomous, Connected, Electric & Shared

The landscape of personal mobility has seen significant changes in recent years. It is becoming electric, shared, connected and autonomous. General Motors was an early pioneer in this space with the launch of OnStar, twenty years ago and continues to be a leader with the introduction of the new Chevy Bolt EV,  and the launch of Maven, its personal mobility brand. At Forth's October networking event in Seattle, Alex Keros (Manager, Vehicle & Advanced Technology Policy, General Motors) will explain how new technologies are changing personal mobility.

Alex Keros, Manager, Vehicle & Advanced Technology Policy, General Motors
Alex works on advanced technology policy for General Motors. In this role he is responsible for policy considerations related to GM’s advanced technology programs, including Maven, GM’s urban mobility brand, and the infrastructure necessary to support a broad range of sustainability programs.
