Spirituality and Healing
Spirituality can be an important element in the way patients face chronic illness, suffering, and loss. Hospice continually address the need to be attentive to all suffering of their patients-physical, emotional, and spiritual. Doing so is part of delivery of compassionate care, and allows the hospice team to become true partners in patients' living and in their dying. By truly listening to patients' hopes, their fears, and their beliefs, chaplains are better able to incorporate these beliefs into their therapeutic plans. Join Rev. Bill Guske (M.Div, APC) on Monday, October 16 as he addresses this important spiritual framework and answers your questions. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by October 9 to reserve your lunch!
