Little Free Library Tour

Have you ever wondered about those whimsical boxes of books throughout Corvallis? They are called Little Free Libraries, and have been built by your neighbors to share books. The Pedal Corvallis community bikeshare team invites you to a fun 2.5-mile bike tour of Little Free Libraries in the Garfield Park area, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 21st. To participate, meet in front of the Osborn Aquatic Center (1940 NW Highland Drive) promptly at 6:00 pm with your bike and helmet. A limited number of Pedal Corvallis bikes will be available at this location! Participants will return to this location at the end of the ride.

The first 10 people to let us know they will attend this event will receive a FREE three-day Pedal Corvallis pass and will be able to use a Pedal Corvallis bike and helmet for this ride! Click HERE to tell us you would like to use a Pedal Corvallis bike. We’ll send out instructions for how to sign up for the three-day pass the day before the event. Others should bring their own bikes and helmets. You are welcome to bring books to share!

Pedal Corvallis is a program of the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments (OCWCOG). Please note, while this event is family-friendly, Pedal Corvallis is open only to people age 18 and over. More information about Little Free Libraries in Corvallis is available HERE. More information about Pedal Corvallis is available HEREPara información en Español, llame al 541-758-1917.

About the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments
The Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments (OCWCOG), on behalf of the member governments, carries out a variety of local, state, and federal programs. The majority of funding is provided by way of contracts to administer specific services. As an Oregon intergovernmental entity, OCWCOG can provide for, or on behalf of, its member governments any service that they are authorized to provide. Whether it is helping a business find appropriate capital, helping seniors and persons with disabilities plan for independent living, or coordinating local roads improvement priorities, OCWCOG offers these and many other innovative services to the local governments and residents of Benton, Lincoln, and Linn counties.
