[Corvallis] Land use workshops coming in September

"Community Conversations" workshop series to focus on land use

The City of Corvallis is launching a series of community workshops in September to gather input on land use needs, challenges and opportunities on the horizon. Participants will be invited to share their thoughts on what they would like to see preserved or changed in the city's land use plans for the future.

City planners will use the data to inform additional public input processes, planning documents and regulations.

The "Community Conversations" workshop series is the first step in incorporating the goals of Imagine Corvallis 2040, the community's long-range vision, into upcoming City projects and planning efforts. The first batch of events will take place in September at locations throughout Corvallis.

The events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Anyone who can’t attend a workshop can still make their voice heard through an online survey that will be posted online at www.corvallisoregon.gov/landuse.

This is just the first phase of the outreach process.
