Solid waste

Code Compliance researches and investigates community member concerns for non-compliance with the City's Livability Code. Common issues include:

  • Exterior structure and premises conditions
    • Walls and exposed surfaces
    • Windows and doors
    • Exterior sanitation
    • Rodent harborage
    • Accumulation of solid waste / trash / debris / non-trash storage
  • Interior conditions of residential rental structures
    • Heating
    • Electrical systems
    • Plumbing systems
    • Ventilation
    • Hot water
  • Tall weeds and grass (Period of enforcement, May 15th - September 30th)

The City of Corvallis Livability Code is intended to ensure all properties are safe and maintain minimum habitability standards.
