The Community Services Division, or uniformed patrol, is the "back-bone" or primary service delivery team of the police department. It comprises all of the uniformed police officers, detectives, crime analysis, community liaison officers, school resource Officer, parking enforcement officers, animal control officer and traffic/motorcycle officers.
Currently, the Corvallis Police Department operates at a ratio of 0.99 officers per thousand community members. The Community Services Division is divided into specialty areas to more effectively meet the needs of the community. They are as follows:

- School Resource Officer

- Police Service Dog
- Drug Detection K-9 Team
During 2015, the uniformed Corvallis Police Officers responded to almost 30,000 calls for service that affected the quality of life in Corvallis. Our uniformed officers continue to consistently provide efficient and professional community-oriented police services to our community.
