Land use applications are processed by the Community Development Department. Depending on the type of application, decisions are made either administratively by staff, or at a public hearing by the Planning Commission, Land Development Hearings Board, Historic Resources Commission, or City Council. With the exception of Property Line Adjustments, all land use applications require some form of public notice and comment period, prior to a decision being made.

APPLICATIONS IN REVIEW
Applications for land use approval are first reviewed by Department staff to ensure that the application is complete. The following land use applications have been received by the Community Development Department and have not yet been deemed complete.

Staff reports are available by clicking on the links above, from the Planning Division at City Hall, and in the reference section of the downtown Corvallis-Benton County Public Library one week prior to the public hearing. The staff reports will be posted on this web site seven days prior to the public hearing (see links above). In some cases, an application must be reviewed by both the Planning Commission and the City Council; the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the City Council and the Council is the final decision maker. If this is the case for a specific application, both hearings bodies are listed; the later hearing date and staff report information will be added when it becomes available. HOW TO SUBMIT WRITTEN TESTIMONY
It is recommended that you submit any public testimony on a land use application via mail (City of Corvallis Planning Division, P.O. Box 1083, Corvallis, OR 97339), delivering this to City Hall, or fax (541-754-1792). If you choose to send testimony via e-mail, there is no guarantee that it will be received in time to be distributed to the City's decision makers, so it is recommended that you verify suitable methods and timeliness of submitting testimony with the staff contact listed above.
