Prior City Elections

Tracey Yee  was elected as Ward 8 Councilor at the November 2, 2021 election.  She ran unopposed and will will serve the remainder of a two-year term that ends December 31, 2022.   
The position is non-partisan and non-paid.  She will be sworn in at the November 15, 2021 Council meeting.

Paul Shaffer won the Ward 7 Councilor election on November 5, 2019.  He fills the vacancy created when former Ward 7 Councilor Bill Glassmire resigned for health reasons.  The Council declared the vacancy on August 5, 2019. Paul will serve as the Ward 7 Councilor for the remainder of the term, which ends December 31, 2020.

Benton County placed a measure on the November 5, 2019 ballot to establish a Benton County Service District for 91-1- Emergency Communications Services.  Voters passed the measure.

An election was held on November 3, 2020 for all nine City Council positions. The following people were elected to serve on the 2021-2022 City Council.  Results are not official until certified by Benton County elections.

The City Council passed Resolution 2018-28 to place a five-year local option levy on the May 2019 ballot.  Voters passed the measure.  More information is available below.
