Corvallis Forest Vision & Guiding Principles Survey

April 17, 2023 - The City of Corvallis Public Works Department is gathering feedback about the vision and guiding principles that will inform our forthcoming update to the Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan. This plan provides a long-term strategy for sustainably managing the Corvallis Forest, which is part of a larger watershed that feeds into the city's Rock Creek Water Treatment Plant.

Please join City Councilors Paul Shaffer (Ward 7), Tracey Yee (Ward 8), and City staff for a neighborhood meeting.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm and will be held at the Walnut Community Room located at 4950 NW Fair Oaks Drive.

Climate Action Advisory Board

The Climate Action Advisory Board (CAAB) meeting will be held in-person and virtually at 5:00 p.m.

City Seeking Applications for Housing Grant Funding

The City currently has two funding opportunities open: CDBG Capital Project with an estimated funding amount of $600,000 and CDBG Human Services Fund with an estimated total funding of $80,000.

Ward 3 Neighborhood Meeting (LOCATION UPDATE)

Please join Ward 3 Councilor Lytle for a neighborhood meeting.  City staff will be on hand to answer your questions and hear any concerns with your City government. 

Community Values Questionnaire

The City Council undertook a public process to prioritize the 11 facilities projects identified in the 2022 Citywide Facilities Strategy. Because of staff and funding resource constraints at the time, it was not possible to move forward on all 11 projects at once. The Council weighed a variety of factors, including input from the community on this topic, to assist with their deliberations.
