July 4th

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a vehicle which was broken into overnight.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 900-block of NE Walnut Blvd for a report of a vehicle which was broken into overnight.

Burglary- Officers responded to a residence in the 2500-block of SW 49th St for a report of a residence which was broken into overnight with property damage sustained inside.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officer responded to the 2600-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a vehicle which was broken into during the early morning hours.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 2700-block of NW 29th St for a report of a vehicle which was broken into overnight.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a male subject who had been asked to leave but kept coming back to the business and loitering. A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a female shoplifter who left the area after abandoning stolen merchandise when she was confronted by loss prevention staff. The female was not located during the initial response.

Burglary / Trespass- Officers responded to the 900-block of SW E Ave for a report of a male seen on camera trespassing in a residential carport. Investigation determined there were new pry marks on an exterior shed. The male was not located during the initial response.

Theft- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 1st St for a report of a phone which had been left in the area and was no longer there.

Disorderly Conduct / Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 49-year-old female, no fixed address, who was in the roadway of HWY 99 at the overpass. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and an active warrant and transported to the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the parking lot of a business in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd for a report of a vehicle collision which had just occurred. A 63-year-old male, Washington resident, was arrested for DUII stemming from investigation on scene.

Warrant Arrest- Officers performed a traffic stop in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr. The driver, a 48-year-old male, Philomath resident, was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and traffic citations.

Minor in Possession (Alcohol) / Special Response Notice- Officers responded to the 2300-block of NW Dixon St for a noise and firework complaint. The officers observed multiple people running in the area shooting fireworks at each other. All of them were attending a party at a residence in the area. The officers contacted the resident, an 18-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was intoxicated. The male was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and a Special Response Notice for various crimes.

Misuse of 9-1-1 / Trespass- Officers responded to the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a female calling to complain about a business. The business called reported the female was refusing to leave and wanted her trespassed. Officers contacted the female, a 54-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and took her into custody for Trespass and Misuse of 9-1-1. The female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

July 3rd

Robbery / Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on an active warrant after being contacted along the riverbank at NW 1st St and NW Tyler Ave. The subject was also being sought for a robbery and assault investigation for an incident which occurred the previous evening. He was booked at the jail.

Trespass- A 29-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespassing after she refused to move from in front of a business door, preventing access to the business. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with a citation.

Theft- A victim reported theft of clothing from a laundry room in an apartment complex in the 4100-block of NW Pinecone Way. Pending security camera footage for suspect information.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on multiple warrants after being contacted in the 500-block of SW 3rd St. He was booked at the jail.

Trespass / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for trespass and PCS (Methamphetamine) after she was reported to have returned to a grocery store in the 400-block of SW 3rd St from which she had been previously trespassed.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after he refused to leave a property of a business in the 600-block of SW 3rd St.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle (x2) / Harassment- A 46-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on several charges after she attempted to get into several occupied cars near the intersection of NW 5th St and NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 26-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted near NW 5th St and NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr who was the subject of an active warrant. He was transported to Hyak Park where custody was transferred to Albany Police, who transported him to Linn County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for traffic violations. Upon contacting the driver, a 71-year-old male, Corvallis resident, the officer had reason to believe the male was under the influence. The male consented to SFSTs and was subsequently arrested for DUII.

Robbery / Burglary / Attempted Assault / Theft- Officers responded to the 5400-block of SW Country Club Dr for a report of a fight between two females. Upon arrival, officers contacted one of the involved females and learned she was inside her apartment when her neighbor, a 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and a male acquaintance, a 27-year-old Salem resident, started knocking on her door and yelling at her. Upon opening her door, she started recording the two. The male proceeded to reach into her apartment and steal her phone. The female then came over and assaulted her by pulling her hair and punching her in the face. The caller corroborated the victim’s statements. When officers attempted to contact the female and male neighbors, they refused to answer the door. A search warrant was granted and executed by officers for the stolen property and the arrest of the male and female. Both were taken into custody without incident, and the property was recovered. The male was arrested for Burglary I, Robbery III, and Theft III. The female was arrested for Burglary I and Attempted Assault IV. Both were transported to and lodged at the jail.

July 2nd

Trespass- An employee at a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St reported a person in front of their store who would not leave when asked to do so. A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassed from the business.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Two cars collided near SW Adams Ave and SW 5th St. A 32-year-old male, Philomath resident, was cited.

Menacing- Officers responded to a report of a male throwing rocks who was also armed with a knife in a park in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd. Officers discovered two people had been struck by rocks. Officers learned the offender, a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, also threatened the male victim with a knife and chased him. The offender fled the area before officers arrived and then then fled again when they found him nearby. He was ultimately apprehended and transported to the jail.

Violation of Order- Officers contacted a caller who reported they were in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr when a person who they had a court order prohibiting contact against came up a path after their dog. The caller made it known to the other person they were there. The other person retrieved their dog and left the area. Officers did not develop probable cause for enforcement action.

City Ordinance Violation- Officers contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who had been continually storing property in a public space. She was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 55-year-old female, no fixed address, on an active warrant near the intersection of SW 1st St and SW Jefferson Ave. The female was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 44-year-old male, Corvallis resident, on active warrants in the 300-block of NW 1st St. He was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, on active warrants near the intersection of NW Tyler Ave and NW 5th St. She was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of NW Harrison Blvd and NW 5th St for a motor vehicle collision. One driver was issued a traffic citation.

Theft- Officer responded to the 1100-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a stolen iPhone. During the investigation, a suspect was identified via video footage as a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, however the victim refused to cooperate and did not want to pursue charges.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, trespassing on the property. The male was contacted and removed from the property and informed he would be arrested if he returned.

Human Waste- A BCSO deputy and officer contacted a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, urinating on a building in the 100-block of NW 5th St. The male was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. During the contact it was learned the male had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody and released at the scene.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 53-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 600-block of SW 3rd St. During the contact, it was discovered the female had a warrant for her arrest. The female was taken into custody and later issued citations and released at the scene.

July 1st

Warrant Arrest – A 52-year-old male, Philomath resident, came to the LEC to turn himself in on a warrant.  The male was taken into custody and escorted to the jail.

Warrant Arrest – A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

UEMV – Caller reported their vehicle was broken into while parked at a business in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd.  The caller had $6000 in cash stolen from a bank bag in the vehicle.  The suspect was not identified.

Trespass – Caller reported he drove by his vacant property in the 400-block of NW 6th St and noticed the front door was kicked in.  There was nobody inside the residence and nothing appeared to be missing.  The suspect was not identified.

Shoplift – Caller reported a female just shoplifted from their business in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd.  The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 29-year-old female, Toledo resident.  The property was recovered from the female, and she had methamphetamine in her possession.  The female was issued a criminal citation for Theft 3 and PCS-Methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest – A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.  The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest – A 30-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1200-block of HWY 99W.  The male had a warrant for his arrest, and he ran from the officer.  The male was located hiding in the area.  He was taken into custody for the warrant and Interfering with a Peace Officer.

Warrant Arrest – A 53-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1100-block of NW 9th St.  The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest – A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600 block of SW Western Blvd.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.  The male was transported to the jail.

Menacing - A group of subjects reported they were menaced by a person with a sword in the area of SW 3rd Street near the Mary’s River bridge.  The male left the area southbound on a bike.  An area check did not locate the male. 

June 30th

Trespass – Officers responded to a community living facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a female that was yelling and arguing with people.  The suspect was identified as a 29-year-old female, no fixed address, and admitted to yelling at staff and other people at the facility.  The female was issued a trespass notice per the caller’s request.

Att. Car Prowl – Caller reported an unknown person attempted to break into their car during the night while it was parked outside their residence in the 3900 block of NW Witham Hill Dr.  No entry was made into the vehicle, but there was damage to the locking mechanism.  The suspect was not identified.

Trespass – A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in Avery Park.  The male had previously been trespassed from all City Parks.  The male was issued a criminal citation for Trespass 2.

Open Container – Caller reported he was working at Central Park cleaning up the fallen tree and an intoxicated female kept coming into their work area and grabbing their tools.  The female was located in the area and identified as a 46-year-old female, no fixed address, and she had an open container of alcohol with her.  The female was issued a criminal citation for Open Container, and she left the area.

Fraud – Caller reported she received a call from a male claiming to be a sergeant with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.  The male told the caller she missed jury duty and had a warrant for her arrest, but she could handle the situation civilly by paying the fee in Bitcoin.  The caller transferred over $3000 in Bitcoin and then realized it was a scam.  The male was not identified.

Interfering with Peace Officer / Trespass – Officers responded to a residence in the 100-block of NW 11th St for a report of a trespass.  The caller reported confronting an unknown female in her backyard.  The suspect left and was located by officers in the area and identified as a29-year-old female, Toledo resident.  The female refused to stop when told to do so by the officers and tried to walk away.  The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass 2  and Interfering with a Peace Officer and transported to jail.

Warrant Arrest – A 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest - A 59-year-old male with no fixed address was cited on 3 Corvallis Municipal Court warrants after being contacted near the intersection of SW 3rd St / SW Avery Ave.

June 29th

Littering / Open Container – Caller reported there was a male sleeping in the 2900-block of NW Coolidge Way with garbage strewn about.  A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted with an open container of alcohol, and the male admitted to throwing the garbage on the ground.  The male was issued a criminal citation for Littering and Open Container.

Warrant Arrest – A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NW 1st St.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card – Caller lost his wallet on 6/28 and was found by another person that brought it to the police department.  Caller was notified by his bank today of $70 charge that was made by phone to a business in Virginia.  The charge was declined.

Trespass – Caller reported a male was standing outside their business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd and refused to leave the property when asked to do so.  The suspect was identified as a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, and he refused to leave the property when asked by officers as well.  The male was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass 2 and transported to the LEC where he was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant arrest- A 29-year-old male with no fixed address was cited on 5 Corvallis Municipal Court warrants after being contacted near SW 3rd St / SW Monroe Avenue. 

Out of compliance sex offender- A 48-year-old male with no fixed address was taken into custody for being out of compliance on his sex offender registry after he was contacted in Central Park after park hours. 

June 28th

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW 4th Street for an intoxicated subject. The caller reported an intoxicated male fell on their vehicle and caused damage. Officers contacted a 58-year-old male with no fixed address and developed probable cause to arrest the male for Criminal Mischief II. The male was evaluated by medics on scene and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3400-block of SE Midvale Drive for a suspicious circumstance. The caller believed someone was inside their apartment. Officers searched the apartment but did not locate anyone inside. While on scene, officers learned the caller, a 28-year-old Corvallis female, had outstanding warrants for her arrest. The female was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants.

Warrant arrest - A 35-year-old female and a 42-year-old male were cited on their respective arrest warrants when they were contacted in the 1700-block NE Four Acre Place.  The female had a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for Probation Violation-DWS and the male had two Benton County Circuit Court warrants (FTA-Theft 3, and PCS meth)

Offensive Littering –  An officer contacted an intoxicated 46-year-old female in the alley behind a business in the 200-block of SW 5th St for a report of her digging through the dumpster and throwing the contents into the alley. The suspect was arrested and transported to the police station where she was cited and released.

June 27th

Theft - a 43-year-old Corvallis female was arrested for Theft II after stealing a phone from the 100 block of NW SW Monroe Ave.  The female was ultimately issued a citation.

Crash – Officers responded to the intersection of SW Jefferson Ave. and SW 6th St. for a report of a vehicle crash. A driver was issued a traffic citation, and the vehicles were removed from the roadway.

Crash – Officers responded to the intersection of NW Tyler Ave and NW 29th St for a report of a traffic crash. A driver was issued a traffic citation for Failure To Obey a Traffic Control Device.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 29-year-old male and a 36-year-old male, both Philomath residents, who were the subject of active warrants near the intersection of NW 20th St and NW Hayes Ave. Both were cited and released.

Unauthorized Entry Motor Vehicle – Officers responded to the 6500-block of NW Oak Creek Drive for a report of two vehicles that were broken into, with items stolen from within.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants – Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NE Walnut Blvd and NE Belvue Ave. The driver was identified as a 45-year-old male Texas resident. After investigation on scene, he was arrested for DUII. He was transported to the hospital where a blood sample was obtained via a telephonic search warrant.

Trespass - Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for a trespass complaint. The caller reported a male was refusing to leave from a business alcove. Officers contacted the male, a 40-year-old male with no fixed address, and trespassed him from the property.

June 26th

Trespass - A 45-year-old male with no fixed address returned to a business in the 1100 -block of NW Kings Blvd which he had been previously trespassed from.  The male was arrested for Trespass II, transported to the LEC, and released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to a residence in the 4100-block of SW Western Blvd for a 911 hang-up call. No emergency was located at the residence, but a 42-year-old female Salem resident was contacted who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to a request for a welfare check on a male near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Adams Ave who was heavily intoxicated and walking into traffic. The 58-year-old male Corvallis resident was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and transported by Medics to the hospital.

Trespass – Officers responded to a residence in the 5400-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a male who moved a motorhome onto private property and needed to leave. The 67-year-old male Corvallis resident was issued a Trespass Notice and moved the trailer.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 28-year-old male with no fixed address near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Beca Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 32-year-old female Corvallis resident near the intersection of NW 8th St and NW Monroe Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest – Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Elks Drive and NW Samaritan Drive. The driver, a 27-year-old male Sweet Home resident, was the subject of an active warrant. He was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.

June 25th

Warrant - A 43-year-old Corvallis male was contacted in the 500-block of NW Jackson Ave, and It was determined he had a warrant for his arrest.  The male was initially taken into custody but ultimately released with a court date to appear.

Warrant - Officers contacted a 44-year-old Corvallis male in the 1000-block of NW 9th St on an unrelated call for service.  It was determined he had several warrants for his arrest for which he was cited for. 

Trespass - Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a 29-year-old female with no fixed address refusing to leave a facility when asked by staff.  The female was arrested for Trespass II and transported to the LEC where she was released with a citation.

Attempted Assault I / Assault II / Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Assaulting a Public Safety Officer / Resisting Arrest / Menacing / Disorderly Conduct II – Officers responded to multiple reports involving a 40-year-old Corvallis woman who was allegedly damaging property and obstructing traffic in the 400- and 500-blocks of SW Monroe Avenue. During contact with officers, the woman produced a concealed knife, resulting in an officer sustaining non-life-threatening injuries while disarming her. Officers safely took the woman into custody without further injury. She was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged on the listed charges.

Warrant - An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd and contacted the driver, a 43-year-old Corvallis male.   It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest for which he was cited in lieu of custody. 

Warrant - A 55-year-old male with no fixed address was reportedly screaming at passersby and drinking in public in the 500-block of SW Madison Ave.  The male had a statewide felony warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County jail.

Warrant - A 30-year-old Corvallis female was contacted in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd.  It was determined she had a warrant for her arrest.  The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody on the warrant.

Domestic Disturbance - Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of an altercation between a 64-year-old Corvallis male, and a 53-year-old Corvallis female.  Probable Cause was developed to arrest the male for Harassment and he was transported to jail where he was cited and released.

Trespass – Officers responded to a facility in the 6000-Block of SW Mosaic Drive for a male who was open carrying a firearm on the property. It was determined the male was not acting in a criminal manner, but he was also staying on the property in a trailer. The 67-year-old male Corvallis resident began planning to move his trailer off the property, and the male was given until tomorrow morning to have the trailer moved. He will be trespassed from the location afterwards.

Warrant Arrest – Officers contacted a 33-year-old male Corvallis resident who was the subject of an active warrant near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Washington Ave. The male was transported to the jail where he was lodged.

Assault IV – Felony / Strangulation / Interfering with Making a Report – Officers responded to a residence in the 900-block of NW 34th Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation determined a 30-year-old Corvallis man assaulted the victim by strangulation and prevented the victim from contacting emergency services. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail, where he was lodged on the charges.

Warrant Arrest – Officer responded to an unknown problem in the 800-block of NW 9th St. Investigation revealed a 64-year-old Corvallis female with no fixed address had a local Corvallis Municipal warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and cited in lieu of custody at the Law Enforcement Center.

Warrant Arrest – An Officer responded to the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a 45-year-old Corvallis Female with no fixed address causing a disturbance. The female had multiple warrants for her arrest, and was taken into custody ultimately being delivered to the Benton County Jail

June 24th

Warrant Arrest – A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in 1500 block of SW Avery Park Dr.  The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.  The male was transported to the LEC and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass - A 44-year-old male with no fixed address was taken into custody for trespassing after he refused to leave a convenience store when asked to by the clerk.  He was transported to the LEC and released on a citation.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest - A 45-year-old male with no fixed address was arrested on 3 Corvallis Municipal Court warrants and a new trespass charge after officers responded to a disturbance call at Cloverland Park.  This male had locked himself in the restroom and refused to come out.  This male was also on the Parks Trespass list until 2030.  He was booked at BCCF. 

Trespass - A 46-year-old female with no fixed address was cited for Trespass after she returned to a motel in the 400-block SW 1st Street that she had previously been trespassed from for theft. 

June 23rd

Theft – Caller reported a theft that just occurred at her place of employment in the 400-block of SW 3rd St.  The caller reported an unknown male stole over $200 in merchandise and walked out the back of the store.  The male was located later in the day and identified as a 40-year-old male, no fixed address.  The male had warrants for his arrest as well.  The male was taken into custody for Theft 2 and his warrants and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest – A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 800-block of NW 9th St as part of a theft investigation.  The male had warrants for his arrest as well and was transported to the jail.

Open Container – Officers responded to a business in the 5400-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a male trespassing on the business property.  The suspect left prior to officer’s arrival but was located in the area and identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address.  The male had an open container of alcohol with and was issued a criminal citation for Open Container and a trespass notice from the business.

Bike Theft – Caller reported his bicycle was stolen from the bike rack outside his residence in the 600-block of SW Sagebrush Dr.  There was no video of the incident and the suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old female with no fixed address was cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant (FTA-Theft 1) after she was stopped for a bicycle violation at the intersection of NW 9th St / NW Harrison Blvd.   

June 22nd

Trespass- Caller reported a female was using controlled substances while sitting at the Transit Mall. The suspect was identified as a 60-year-old female, no fixed address, and was not on scene when the officer arrived. The female was later located and issued a trespass notice per the caller’s request.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 200-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a female yelling and tearing up plants in a flowerbed outside a business. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 46-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Mischief III. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a criminal citation.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported their bicycle was stolen from outside their residence in the 400-block of NW 18th St. The caller was out of town for ten days and the bike was stolen during that time.

Open Container- Officers responded to the 300-block of SW 4th St for a report of a female who was yelling and causing a disturbance. A 46-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect. The female had an open container of alcohol in her possession. The female was taken into custody for Open Container and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 55-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 100-block of SW Madison Ave. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Unlawful Use of Motor Vehicle- Caller reported her vehicle was stolen from the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr. The caller’s son was able to track the vehicle and it was located unoccupied in the parking lot of a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. Officers surveilled the vehicle and observed a 57-year-old female, Wisconsin resident, enter the vehicle. The female was detained in handcuffs, and informed the officer the vehicle belonged to her sister. The female stated her sister gave her the keys to the vehicle and she had permission to drive it. However, the keys the female had went to a different model vehicle. It was determined the caller had left her key fob in the vehicle with the doors unlocked, and the female entered the wrong vehicle when she left the hospital, believing it was her sister’s vehicle since they were both the same color and parked next to each other. It was determined the female had no intent to steal the vehicle and she was not charged with any crimes. The caller arrived at the business to pick up her vehicle and the female’s sister came to pick her up.

Misuse of 9-1-1- An officer responded to a residence in the 400-block of NW 10th St for a report of a female who called 9-1-1 reporting she needed help because her husband cheated on her. A 48-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted and found to be intoxicated. The female told the officer her husband broke her heart and couldn’t articulate a reason for calling 9-1-1. The female was issued a criminal citation for Misuse of 9-1-1 and a second Special Response Notice.

June 21st

Robbery III / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to a business in the 2400-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a 45-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who was confronted by staff for stealing and then threw multiple items at employees. Due to the female screaming and throwing items, police were called. The officer contacted the female nearby and she was arrested for Robbery III and Disorderly Conduct II.

Menacing / Disorderly Conduct / Unlawful Use of a Weapon- A 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was reportedly speeding in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr which led to a confrontation with a bystander. The male produced a handgun from his glovebox and brandished it before driving away. The male was arrested for Menacing, Disorderly Conduct, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He was ultimately transported to the jail.

Attempted Assault / Harassment / Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- A 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, refused to leave a facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr when told to do so by staff. The female became combative and attempted to assault multiple staff members and was restrained. Officers arrived on scene and the female continued to be combative and physically resisted arrest. The female was placed in a restraint device by police and transported to the jail for Attempted Assault IV, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 39-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 200-block of NW Jefferson Ave. It was determined she had a warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody. Upon searching the female, officers discovered methamphetamine. She was transported to the jail.

Burglary- Victim at a residence in the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr reported her residence was burglarized two different times over the course of a couple days.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 24-year-old male, Albany resident, was taken into custody during a traffic stop near SW 4th St and SW Washington Ave when it was discovered he had been out of compliance with his sex offender registry for two years. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted during an investigation in the 100-block of SW Avery Ave.

June 20th

Theft- A 72-year-old male, Corvallis resident, stole over $100 of groceries from a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd. The male was taken into custody for Theft II and transported to the jail where he was booked and released.

Theft of Services / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule IV) / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Identity Theft- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW 9th St for a report of an Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle in progress. Upon arrival officers located a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, at the location using water and electric services from the building. The male was searched and found to be in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, schedule IV pills, and credit cards belonging to other people. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Resisting Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 2300-block of NW Jackson Ave for franchise requirement. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest, and there was also probable cause for his arrest on a previous case. The male resisted being taken into custody and fled on foot. The male was captured a block away. Once in custody, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to the jail on the warrants and above charges, as well as the previous probable cause.

June 19th

Warrant Arrest- A 26-year-old male, Albany resident, was the subject of a traffic stop in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd after failing to obey a traffic control device. It was determined the male had several warrants for his arrest, and he was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Theft by Extortion- Caller reported he met a female on an online dating website. The caller sent the female nude photos, and she told him she would send the photos to his family members if he didn’t pay her $2,000. The caller sent $500 prior to calling the police. He was instructed not to send any more money to the suspect.

Burglary- Caller reported an unknown female entered her residence in the 300-block of SW 6th St, looked through a desk in the residence, and then left. The suspect was located a few blocks away and identified as a 29-year-old female, no fixed address. Stolen property from the residence was located in the female’s possession. The female was taken into custody for Burglary I and Theft III and transported to the jail.

Theft- A 29-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a burglary. While searching the female’s property officers located two packages which had been stolen from a residence in the 100-block of NW 11th St. The female was additionally charged with Theft III for the package theft.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A 29-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for burglary. While searching the female’s property officers located another person’s wallet. The wallet owner was contacted at his residence in the 100-block of NW 8th St and informed the officer his vehicle was broken into last night. The female was therefore additionally charged with UEMV and Theft III.

Warrant Arrest- A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at SW 3rd St and SW Hopkins Ave. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 2500-block of NW Taylor Ave. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Threats- A caller reported he and a group of friends had been walking together to a bar downtown when a physical altercation occurred between two of the males in the group. After the brief altercation, one of the involved males left. Later in the night, that male sent a picture of a firearm to another of the males in the group. There were no direct threats, just a picture of a firearm. No one had any significant concerns, and they merely wanted the incident documented. All parties involved were very intoxicated.

Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- Officers responded to the area of the Skate Park for a report of a male assaulting a female. Upon arrival, officers contacted the female and multiple witnesses and learned no assault occurred, but the suspect had been yelling at the female and throwing her belongings into the road. The suspect, a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was located nearby and was agitated. The male physically resisted being placed in handcuffs. He was ultimately transported to the jail.

June 18th

Follow-Up Arrest / Warrant Arrest- Officers located a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who was wanted from a previous theft investigation. He was also the subject of active warrants. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 5th St and NW Tyler Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was issued a criminal citation and released. 

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of SW 6th St and SW D Ave on outstanding warrants. He was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Felon in Possession of Restricted Weapon / Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 61-year-old male, no fixed address, near SW 4th St and SW C Ave. He was ultimately released on criminal citations for warrants and for Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 43-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd who was the subject of an active warrant.

Criminal Mischief- Officers contacted a caller in the 200-block of NW 32nd St who reported damage to their vehicle.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 5th St and NW Harrison Blvd who was the subject of an active warrant. He was transported to the jail where he was lodged.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 32-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1800-block of NW 9th St while on a call for service. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of NW 9th St while on another call for service. The male had warrants for his arrest and was booked into the jail.

June 17th

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 200-block of NW 1st St and found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Trespass- Officers contacted a resident in the 1400-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr for a report of an unknown male seen walking on their property via surveillance cameras the previous night.

Disturbance- Officers responded to a park in the 1800-block of NW Hayes Ave for a report of a male yelling in the creek and at people, causing them to leave. A 49-year-old male, Albany resident, was issued a Parks Trespass Notice.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 6200-block of SW Philomath Blvd stemming from a call for service which began in Linn County. Ultimately, a 67-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was trespassed from a property in the 6200-block of SW Philomath Blvd.

Minor in Possession / Open Container- An officer responded to the 1000-block of NW 36th St for a disturbance. The officer located a 19-year-old female, Corvallis resident, consuming alcoholic beverages in public. She was issued a citation and returned home.

Trespass- An officer responded to a residence in the 400-block of NW Kings Blvd for a prowler complaint. The caller reported seeing two males on their front porch looking into windows of the house. The suspects were not located.

June 16th

Trespass / Theft III- A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, went into multiple businesses in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd. She had already been trespassed from at least one business and took items from the others. She was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Fraud- A Corvallis resident called to report someone accessed her bank card and used it to make three different $1,000 bets on an online betting site.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the area of NW 17th St and NW Polk Ave to attempt to locate a possibly impaired driver. The caller reported the female driver hit a tree and some trash cans in the area before driving away. The vehicle was located, and the driver was identified as a 61-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The officer observed several signs of impairment in the female, as well as multiple open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. The female claimed she was injured and was transported to the hospital by medics. At the hospital, she was ultimately charged with DUII and Reckless Driving.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported their bicycle was stolen sometime during the previous 48 hours from outside their residence in the 200-block of SW 2nd St. No suspect identified.

Theft- An employee at a motel in the 400-block of SW 1st St reported a female who was not staying at the motel entered the lobby and stole numerous alcoholic beverages and food from the lobby kiosk. She was not located.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 38-year-old female, Tillamook resident, was arrested for DUII after being stopped for a traffic offense near SW 4th St and SW Jefferson Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on multiple warrants after being contacted for a suspicious person complaint in the 600-block of NW 2nd St.

June 15th

Assault IV / Disorderly Conduct II / Warrant Arrest- A caller reported a fight near SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd. Officers responded to the location and contacted a male and female victim who reported a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, struck the female in the face, knocking her to the ground. Officers located the male suspect, discovered he also had a warrant for his arrest, arrested him, and booked him into jail.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol- A parent called in to report their daughter, a 19-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was intoxicated on alcohol in the 1600-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr. The responded office arrived at the address and contacted the female who was visibly intoxicated. She was issued a citation for MIP and released.

Criminal Trespass II- Caller reported a subject yelling profanities with belongings spread out all over the area at a park near NW Grant Ave and NW 29th St. An officer responded to location and found a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from all City Parks. The male was removed from the park, issued a citation for trespassing, and his trespass notice for City Parks was extended into 2030.

Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd for a subject yelling at people and refusing to leave the business property when told to do so. Officers contacted a 47-year-old female, Albany resident, who was uncooperative and refused to identify herself. She was told repeatedly that she needed to leave the property and refused to do so. She was arrested for trespassing, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Improper Use of 9-1-1- An officer was contacting a 62-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave to conduct follow up with a previous investigation. The male called 9-1-1 to report the officer was harassing him when there was no emergency. The male was issued a criminal citation for Improper Use of 9-1-1.

Trespass- Caller reported ongoing issues with a male storing his property on their business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. The suspect was identified as a 62-year-old male, no fixed address, and he was issued a trespass notice from the business.

Theft- Caller reported an unknown male grabbed her purse from her cart outside a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. Video surveillance did not capture the incident and the male was not identified.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported seeing a male break a bike lock and take a bike from a residence in the 100-block of NW 13th St. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 30-year-old male, Philomath resident. The male was taken into custody for Theft III and Criminal Mischief II. While searching the male, methamphetamine paraphernalia was located in his possession. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a criminal citation for Theft III, Criminal Mischief II, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.

Theft- Caller reported they had a package delivered to their residence that was stolen in the 5200-block of SW Commons Way. No suspect identified,

Shoplift- Caller reported a shoplift which had just occurred at their business in the 1400-block of NW 9th St. The suspect stole multiple alcoholic beverages and left the area on foot. Officers were unable to locate the unidentified suspect.

Assault- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for Assault IV and Disorderly Conduct after he struck another male in the face, causing minor injury. The suspect was booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on active warrants after being contacted in the 2100-block of NW Professional Dr. The male had several warrants for his arrest and was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- A 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on a warrant and for Driving While Suspended after being stopped for an equipment violation near the Hwy 34 Bypass.

June 14th

Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of NW 12th St for a subject sleeping under a tree on the property who was previously trespassed from the location. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address. The officers confirmed the male was previously told he was trespassing on the property, issued him a citation for the offense, and he left the area.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a welfare check in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd for two unresponsive people in a parked vehicle. Officers arrived at the vehicle and found one of the subjects, a 34-year-old female, Lebanon resident, had several active warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations for the warrants and released.

Theft / Criminal Trespass I- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a shoplift. Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect, a 33-year-old male, no fixed address. Officers contacted the business and learned the suspect had stolen an alcoholic beverage and had also been previously trespassed from the business. The male was arrested, removed from the location, and issued a citation for the offenses.

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, who had lunged at an employee and threatened to stab and kill them. The male had no weapons but was detained and cited for Violent Conduct.

Trespass II- An officer was dispatched to the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a 72-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who came into a store after being previously trespassed.  The male was contacted and cited in lieu of custody for trespassing.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a welfare check in the area of SW Philomath Blvd and SW 3rd St. Officers contacted a 46-year-old male and a 46-year-old female, both no fixed address. Both subjects had multiple warrants for their arrest and were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Trespass II / Warrant Arrest- An officer was dispatched to a business in the 2000-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was on the property after being asked to leave. The male was contacted by police and had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

June 13th

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a shoplifter who was leaving on a motorcycle. The suspect was not located during the initial response.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers contacted a caller who reported their vehicle was entered while it was left unattended briefly and items were stolen from within in the 300-block of NW 23rd St.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a shoplift. The suspect, a 28-year-old female, Albany resident, was arrested for Theft III and later released with a criminal citation.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a parked vehicle that was hit with no note left.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to a residence in the 1300-block of NW Dream Pl for a report of stolen AirPods pinging in the area. The AirPods were initially reported as stolen from the 2000-block of NW Taylor Ave. The residents consented to searching their bedroom, and no stolen items were located.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1000-block of SW E Ave for a report of a male trying to pry open mailboxes. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was found to be the subject of an active warrant. No probable cause for enforcement action was gained from the initial call for service, but the male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of active warrants. He was issued criminal citations and released.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to an attempt to locate on a vehicle which had almost hit someone as they were driving up to the liquor store and appeared to be visibly intoxicated. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was performed. The driver, a 61-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was driving on a criminally suspended driver’s license, and was arrested.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, near the intersection of SW Wake Robin Ave and SW Pickford St who was the subject of an active warrant. He was released with a criminal citation.

Officers contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 4th St who was the subject of active warrants. He was released on criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a bike stop in the 800-block of NW Van Buren Ave. The bicyclist was identified as a 62-year-old male, no fixed address, who had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 4400-block of NW Walnut Blvd for a vandalism complaint. The caller reported their male neighbor had damaged the screen to one of their windows. The neighbor, a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for Criminal Mischief II and transported to the jail.

June 12th

Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 1800-block of NW 9th St and was found to have a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Adams Ave for a motor vehicle collision blocking a lane of travel. A driver was issued a citation for following too close.

Theft- Officers responded to the 2500-block of NW Taylor Ave for a report of a scooter stolen sometime during the afternoon.

Assist Other Agency- Officers assisted with an injury crash on Hwy 20 near milepost 1 being investigated by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. The highway was closed for a significant period of time, and crash team members also responded to the scene.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a crash at the intersection of NW 5th St and NW Van Buren Ave. A driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Welfare Check / Animal Impoundment- Officers responded to a residence in the 500-block of NW 17th St for a call from a 61-year-old female, Corvallis resident. Officers forced entry into a garage where the female was located. The female was found to be intoxicated and ultimately was transported to the hospital due to her intoxication levels. A dog was taken to the humane society under an impound based on the conditions of the interior of the garage residence and the lack of food and water for the animal.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- Officers stopped a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 2nd ST and NW Van Buren Ave who was the subject of active warrants. The male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. He was issued criminal citations and released.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to a residence in the 400-block of NW 10th St for a report of harassment. Officers were unable to substantiate the harassment claims, but an initial SRN was issued.

Warrant Arrest / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Circle Blvd and NW Kings Blvd. The driver, a 63-year-old male, Albany resident, was arrested for an active warrant and driving on a criminally suspended license. He was ultimately issued criminal citations and left the scene on foot.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St for a theft. Officers located the suspect, a 56-year-old male, Corvallis resident, nearby who admitted to stealing a couple of soft drinks. He was cited for theft and trespassed from the business.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Endangering / Open Container- An officer stopped a vehicle near SW 3rd St and SW Madison Ave after it ran a stop sign nearby. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and there was a full-sized, tapped keg in the back seat. The driver, a 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for DUII.

June 11th

Trespass II / Theft II / Resisting Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the location back on the premises. The male was picking up items in the store. As officers attempted to take the male into custody he resisted arrest. The male was ultimately taken into custody and transported to the jail where he was lodged.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 200-block of NW Kings Blvd for a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property. The male was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the jail.

Criminal Trespass II / Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a 59-year-old male, no fixed address, who was threatening customers at the store in the area. The male was located nearby and cited in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II and Violent Conduct.

Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave for a 60-year-old female, no fixed address, who was yelling obscenities and throwing things in the area. The female was located in the area, and it was determined she had been previously trespassed from the location. The female was cited in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II and was released at the scene.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a shoplift. A female attempted to steal some items that were recovered by loss prevention staff. The female returned the items and then pushed past loss prevention to leave the store. The 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was later located. The business only wanted her issued a Trespass Notice.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a female refusing to leave. The 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice and left.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 100-block of NW 16th St for a report of a male who had been asked to leave several times. A 70-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Dog Bite- Officers responded to the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a dog bite.

June 10th

Identity Theft- Victim reported someone had opened a credit card in their name, which they became aware of upon running their credit report.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had been yelling at others. Officers contacted the male and found he had a warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the jail.

Aggravated Harassment- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male who attempted to enter the caller’s vehicle. The caller reported an unknown male attempted to enter his vehicle as he was leaving the business and then started chasing him as he drove away. The suspect was identified as a 40-year-old male, no fixed address. The male fled on foot as an officer attempted to contact him. The male was apprehended after a foot pursuit and began to resist arrest. After taking him into custody for Attempted Trespass II, Interfering with a Peace Officer, Disorderly Conduct II and Resisting Arrest, officers discovered the male had an active warrant. While waiting to escort the male into the jail, he spit on the officer who transported him to the jail. The male was then additionally charged with Aggravated Harassment.

Attempted Assault IV- Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 16th St for a report of a male hitting a female. As officers were enroute, the caller reported the male walked away. The caller stated she knew the 28-year-old male, no fixed address, from her place of employment. The male had come to her residence before and she had told him he was no longer welcome. She saw the male walking up to her residence again today, and when she walked out to tell him he wasn’t welcome, he began punching her. The female did not sustain any injuries. The male was located in the area and tried to walk away from officers. The male was taken into custody and charged with Attempted Assault IV, Disorderly Conduct II, Criminal Trespass II, Interfering with a Peace Officer, and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on multiple warrants when he was contacted in the area of NW 7th St and NW Taylor Ave.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 22-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was arrested for a DUII in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on multiple warrants after being contacted near SW 4th St and SW C Ave. She was booked at the jail.

June 9th

Special Response Notice (Loud Noise)- Officers responded to the 700-block of SW 13th St for a report of an argument. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 30-year-old male and a 27-year-old female, both Corvallis residents. The female continued to yell loudly about her children’s father in another state and would not quiet down. There was no argument between the two, however an SRN was issued for loud noise.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. During the contact, the officer learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested, issued a citation for the warrant, and released.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer was on patrol when they observed a 68-year-old female, no fixed address, whom they knew to have a suspended license, driving a vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and issued the driver a citation for DWS-Misdemeanor.

Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card- Caller reported multiple fraudulent charges to her credit card. Some of the charges were declined, but $90 in charges went through. The charges occurred at businesses in multiple states outside of Oregon. No suspect was identified.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- A 19-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested on an active warrant after she was contacted behind a closed business in the 900-block of NW 9th St. The female was booked at the jail. A 20-year-old male, Portland resident, was cited for PCS-Fentanyl and released from the scene.

June 8th

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. The caller reported a subject inside the store was carrying a stick, yelling, and making people uncomfortable. Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect, a 25-year-old male, no fixed address, nearby. The business only requested the male be trespassed from the store and did not want any further action taken. The male was given a trespass notice for the business and released.

Human Waste Ordinance- An employee from the 500-block of SW Madison Ave called to report they observed a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, urinate on their building. The caller was familiar with the male and identified him from the surveillance video. This investigation is pending contact with the suspect.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 36-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 1000-block of NE Circle Blvd to report a subject trespassing on the property. The officer contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, at the business and warned him about trespassing. The subject left the area.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers were dispatched to a three-vehicle crash in the 6000-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The crash involved only minor injuries. During the investigation, officers developed probable cause that one of the drivers, a 59-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was intoxicated. The male was arrested for DUII.

Hit & Run- Caller reported a vehicle sideswiped her vehicle as they were traveling west on NW Harrison Blvd from NW Kings Blvd. The caller reported the other vehicle initially pulled over, but left once the caller pulled over to exchange information. The caller was unable to describe the suspect vehicle and did not get a license plate. The driver of the suspect vehicle was not identified.

Trespass- An officer responded to a business in the 500-block of NW 25th St for a report of a trespass. The caller reported he had asked a male and female to leave the property multiple times, but they refused to do so. A 69-year-old female and a 46-year-old male, both Corvallis residents, were identified as the suspects. Both were issued trespass notices for the business and left the area.

Hit & Run / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 23-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for a Hit & Run and DUII after she struck a vehicle in a parking lot in the 2400-block of NW Monroe Ave and then left the scene. She was located in a parking lot near her residence in the 2600-block of NW Fillmore Ave and taken into custody after a DUII investigation.

Warrant Arrest- A 47-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on an active warrant after officers contacted him on a disturbance complaint in the 5400-block of SW Country Club Dr.

June 7th

Warrant Arrest / Theft- Caller reported finding a stolen bicycle in the 200-block of SW B Ave. An officer located the stolen bike and recovered it. The responding officer also contacted a 42-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation. No one was found in possession of the stolen bicycle, and a suspect could not be found. The stolen bicycle was returned to its owner.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW 21st St for a report of a subject trying to break into an apartment. Officers arrived at the location and contacted the subject, a 39-year-old male, Bend resident. Officers determined the male was allowed to be at the address and was not trying to break in. During the contact, however, officers discovered the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Attempted Assault IV / Harassment / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to a fight at Central Park. When they arrived, the caller reported they witnessed a 46-year-old female, no fixed address, punch two people in the face. Officers located the female suspect and detained her. They learned she punched one victim in the face and struck another victim in the arm, on a cast from a previous injury. The female was arrested and booked into the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Caller reported a subject refusing to leave in the 1100-block of NW 18th St. Officers arrived on scene and determined no crime had been committed. However, during the investigation, officers contacted a 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Burglary- Caller reported a historical burglary which occurred several days prior at his residence in the 4400-block of NW Arrowood circle. Caller reported he left his garage door open while he ran errands and when he returned, he found his bicycle had been stolen from the garage. No suspect was identified.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for trespass after officers responded to a trespass complaint near NW 1st St and NW Van Buren Ave.

June 6th

Warrant Arrest / Attempted Assault on a Public Safety Officer- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a male pulling trash out of trashcans and sitting in a bus shelter. The subject, a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, had several warrants for his arrest. Officers took him into custody on the warrants, during which time the male kicked one of the arresting officers. The male was cited and released at the Law Enforcement Center.

Trespass / Open Container / Violent Conduct- A 46-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested in the 400-block of SW Madison Ave for Trespass, Open Container, and Violent Conduct, after she was called in for screaming obscenities at people. The female was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass / Franchise Requirement- A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was yelling and throwing trash in the 100-block of NW Walnut Blvd. The male was contacted by officers and it was determined he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was ultimately cited for his warrants, Trespass, and Franchise Requirement.

Warrant Arrest- A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of SW Adams Ave and it was determined he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a shoplift which had just occurred. The 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested.

Disturbance- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of a verbal argument inside a tent. Two individuals were detained on scene. The investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action, and both individuals were released.

Trespass II- An officer responded to the 400-block of SW 1st St for a report of a trespass. A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, had been attempting to get into the business and was refusing to leave. The male was arrested for Trespass II and taken to the jail.

Criminal Trespass I / Violent Conduct / Offensive Littering- Officer were dispatched to the 700-block of SW 7th St for a report of a subject yelling. Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported the subject. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 59-year-old male, no fixed address, who was yelling throughout the night. The male was arrested and removed from the area.

June 5th

Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to a residence in the 800-block of NW 23rd St for a report of a neighbor who entered the caller’s apartment without permission. Officers learned that a 63-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had entered the residence without permission, and he was arrested.

Theft- Officers responded to a residence in the 2500-block of SW Pickford St and learned two bicycles had been stolen from backyards in the area.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a shoplift which had occurred the week prior.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 29th St and NW Polk Ave for a report of a three-vehicle crash. Investigation determined a driver did not stop at the stop sign on NW Polk Ave and caused the crash. The driver was issued traffic citations.

Aggravated Harassment / Criminal Trespass I / Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a previously trespassed 41-year-old male, no fixed address, who had returned to the store. The male was uncooperative and agitated as officers responded and was taken into custody at Taser point. He was arrested, transported to the hospital for a jail clearance, and then lodged at the jail.

Attempted Assault IV / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to a facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who was belligerent and who had attempted to bite and fight staff. Investigation determined she had swung a closed fist at an employee and tried to bite another employee as they attempted to restrain her. She was left in the care of the facility but issued a criminal citation.

Harassment- Caller reported she was walking with two of her friends in the 2000-block of NW 9th St when an unknown male approached them and grabbed a cup out of her hand. The caller and her friends ran away, and one of the friends fell, causing a scrape on her knee. The suspect was not located.

Misrepresentation of Age- A 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted outside a business in the 100-block of NW 15th St after staff at the business took his identification. The male had an identification which showed he was 24 years old instead of his actual age. The identification was seized.

Burglary- Officers responded to a residence in the 1000-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a cold burglary. An unknown person broke into the residence and sprayed fire extinguishers inside, which caused the fire alarm to activate. There were no cameras at the residence and no suspect was identified.

Trespass- A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted on the property of a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The male had been previously trespassed from the property, and was therefore issued a criminal citation for Trespass II.

Harassment- Officers responded to a residence in the 4400-block of NW Walnut Blvd for a report of an argument between two neighbors. During the argument, a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, threw his headphones at the caller, hitting the caller in the groin. The male was taken into custody for Harassment and transported to the jail.

June 4th

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd in regards to a trespassing complaint. It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass I / Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2800-block of NW Grant Ave for a report of a previously trespassed male in the bathroom. The 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass. During this time, it was learned the male had returned to the business and stole merchandise on two previously unreported occasions. He was charged with theft stemming from those incidents and transported to the jail.

Coercion- Officers contacted a resident in the 3700-block of SW Waterleaf Ave who had sent intimate images of themselves to someone they met online in exchange for money. That person is now requesting more photos or they’ll release the photos they already have.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a cooperative shoplifted. A 47-year-old female, Junction City resident, was issued a criminal citation for theft and a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 57-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 400-block of SW 4th St who was the subject of active warrants. The male was issued citations and released.

Argument- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 4th St and NW Monroe Ave for a report of an argument in which pepper spray was displayed but not used. Investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action.

Warrant Arrest- Officer contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave. During the contact, it was learned the male had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr for a 9-1-1 hang up call. Upon arrival, they located a 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, with an active warrant for his arrest.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash. Investigation revealed a 23-year-old male, Seattle resident, operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated and drove up a power pole support line, flipping his vehicle onto the roof. The male was later released from custody with criminal citations.

Interfering / Resisting Arrest- While officers were conducting a DUII crash investigation in the 1500-block of NW Jackson Ave, another 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, repeatedly continued inserting himself into the investigation and entering the scene of the crash after being warned not to interfere and to remain out of the roadway. The male was ultimately taken into custody and physically resisted arrest. He was lodged at the jail.

June 3rd

Bias Crime- An officer responded to the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of the caller being harassed by two females. The caller reported there were two females yelling and saying she was illegally forcing and oppressing her daughter by making her wear a hijab. The females left prior to officer’s arrival and were not identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to the library for a report of a male flipping off other patrons as they walked by. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, and the caller wanted the male trespassed. The male was issued a Trespass Notice and left the area.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported her neighbor kicked the door in at her residence in the 2800-block of NW Polk Ave approximately four days prior. The caller didn’t think it was a police matter, at the time. The caller contacted her neighbor, and he agreed to pay for the damage.

Warrant Arrest / Disorderly Conduct II / Attempted Assault IV- Officers responded to a report of a fight in an alley in the 500-block of SW 4th St between a male and a female. A 48-year-old female, Newport resident, was detained on the scene. Subsequent to investigation on scene she was arrested, placed in a WRAP restraint device, and transported to the hospital for a jail clearance before being lodged. She was also the subject of active warrants, for which she was cited.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a cooperative shoplifter. The items were returned to the business who did not wish to pursue charges. A 30-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Endangering / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to a crash near the intersection of NW Garfield Ave and NW 9th St. The driver of one vehicle, a 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment. He had also been called in a few minutes earlier as a reckless driver. The male was arrested for DUII.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 1400-block of SW A Ave for a report that the caller’s social security number had been leaked a fraudulent account was opened in their name.

Trespass- A 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespassing after she refused to leave the hospital lobby and refused to be seen by medical staff. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released on a citation.

June 2nd

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 2900-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a male who had entered the residence and was refusing to leave. A 46-year-old male, Albany resident, was identified as the suspect. The male stated he was tracking his 15-year-old daughter’s location, and it suddenly stopped at the location of the residence, leading him to believe she was somewhere inside. As officers were speaking with the male, his daughter’s location started again, showing she was not at the residence. The caller only wanted the male trespassed from the residence.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a theft which had just occurred. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, who was located in the area. The male was issued a criminal citation for Theft III.

Probation Violation- A parole and probation officer reported a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who was in violation of his probation was sitting in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave. The P&P officer authorized a detainer to be placed on the male based on multiple violations of his probation. The male was contacted, taken into custody, and transported to the jail.

Open Container- A 57-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave with an open alcoholic beverage. The female was issued a criminal citation for Open Container.

Warrant Arrest / Theft- A 53-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted in the 400-block of SW Madison Ave. She was found in possession of someone else’s wallet that she admitted to having been in possession of for several weeks, but hadn’t gotten around to turning it in yet. The wallet was seized and she was cited for theft of lost or mislaid property.

June 1st

Criminal Trespass- A caller in the 400-block of NW 4th St called to request a subject be issued a trespass notice for the building. Officers arrived in the area and located the subject parked nearby. The 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd to report a subject in the business refusing to leave. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, still inside. The officer confirmed the male was previously trespassed from the business and arrested him. He was issued a citation, released, and left the area without further incident.

Open Container- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a female yelling and causing a disturbance. The female suspect was located in the area and identified as a 55-year-old female, no fixed address. The female had an open container of alcohol in her possession, and was therefore cited for Open Container.

Warrant Arrest- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 300-block of NW Van Buren Ave for a traffic violation. The passenger, a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment / Trespass- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for Harassment and Trespass after bouncers at a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St reported the suspect spit on them after they informed him he was trespassing. The subject had been trespassed from the bar previously due to his behavior, but had returned. The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Central Park and contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address. There was no domestic dispute, but instead the female was just being loud and agitated. She was found to have an active warrant and was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on an active warrant after being contacted in the area of NW 2nd St and NW Monroe Ave.

May 31st

Criminal Trespass- An employee from the library called to request a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, be trespassed from the building. Officers later located the subject, advised him he was trespassed from the library, and he left the area.

Contempt of Court / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of SW Leonard St for a 9-1-1 call with a female reporting she needed help. Officers arrived at the address and contacted the female caller and a 37-year-old male, no fixed address. Investigation revealed the male had a no-contact jail release order stating he could not contact the caller. The male was arrested, searched, and methamphetamine was located on him. The male was booked into jail.

Theft / Harassment- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplifter in custody. The caller reported the female suspect was trying to push through loss prevention staff after being detained. The suspect was identified as a 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had stolen approximately $40 worth of merchandise. The female was contacted by loss prevention and was initially cooperative and handed over the stolen merchandise. As the loss prevention officer was attempting to get the female’s identification, she tried to push through to leave, including while the loss prevention officer was attempting to contact law enforcement. The female was taken into custody for Theft III, Harassment, and Interfering with Making a Report and transported to the jail.

Theft- A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for a theft at a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd. While searching the female, stolen property from another business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd was located in her possession. The female was additionally charged with Theft II.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- A 58-year-old female, Albany resident, was contacted in her vehicle in the 600-block of NE Conifer Blvd, as it appeared she was passed out while it was parked. The female had a warrant for her arrest and admitted to recent fentanyl use. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- A vehicle had two tires slashed and a front passenger window broken out in the 500-block of NW Jackson Ave.

May 30th

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was called in as a potentially intoxicated driver by an off-duty Philomath police officer in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The male was passed out in the driver’s seat, with the vehicle on, foot on the accelerator and revving the engine. After conducting an investigation, the male was arrested for DUII.

Trespass- A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for burning rubbish at an abandoned business. The female was cited in lieu of custody for trespass.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 3rd St for a report of someone who rear-ended the back of the caller’s trailer before leaving the area.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 21st St for a report of an unknown individual who stole a flag from a flagpole on the property.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the intersection of NE Hwy 99W and NE Conifer Blvd for a report of a female walking into traffic and trying to remove her clothes. The 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the jail.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 23rd St and NW Tyler Ave for a report of a vehicle which had been broken into overnight.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded for an attempt to locate on a vehicle that was being driven by an individual who was reportedly intoxicated. The vehicle was located near the intersection of NW Kings Blvd and NW Harrison Blvd. Officers performed a traffic stop and identified the driver as a 22-year-old male, California resident. After investigation on scene, the driver was arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped an electric scooter for a traffic violation near SW 4th St and SW B Ave. A 42-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was also found to be in possession of a user quantity of methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. A 43-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was also in possession of a user amount of methamphetamine.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Reckless Endangering / Minor in Possession- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. The driver, a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, exhibited signs of impairment. He performed SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, and MIP.

Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- An officer attempted to stop a cyclist near SW 3rd St and SW Adams Ave for riding the wrong way in the street. The cyclist, a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, initially refused to stop. The female eventually stopped in the middle of SW 4th St and refused to exit the road. She was ultimately arrested for Disorderly Conduct. She resisted being taken into custody and was also arrested for resisting arrest before being booked at the jail.

May 29th

Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver- A witness came to the Law Enforcement Center to state she’d seen a silver pickup back into another vehicle in the 100-block of NW 5th St and was able to provide a license plate number for the suspect vehicle. Officers located the suspect vehicle at a residence and arrested the driver, a 67-year-old male, Corvallis resident, for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver.

Shoplift- Officers responded to a business in the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a person who stole approximately $400 in merchandise before fleeing the area.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave for a report of a vehicle which hit the caller’s trailer yesterday morning, causing damage, before leaving the scene.

Fraud- Officers took a report of a phone scam which occurred in the 2600-block of NW Highland Dr.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a previously trespassed male who returned to the premises. Officers issued a Trespass Notice to a 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop in the 100-block of SW 2n St. The passenger, a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was booked at the jail.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) / Minor in Possession (Alcohol)- Officers contacted a vehicle parked behind a business in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. There were three male occupants in the vehicle who were drinking alcohol. When the males were getting out of the vehicle, an officer observed a baggie of cocaine on the passenger seat. A 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, admitted the substance was cocaine and that it belonged to him. He was cited for PCS-Cocaine and MIP-Alcohol.

Possession of a Forged Instrument- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 400-block of NW 23rd St for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, a 20-year-old female, Corvallis resident, the officer observed a second, fictitious identification in her possession. The identification was seized.

Open Container- A 27-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for an Open Container of Alcohol in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd.

May 28th

Criminal Trespass II / Violent Conduct / Open Container / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, threatening to fight someone in the area. The suspect was located, arrested, and transported to the jail.

Assault IV- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a fight. Officers learned a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, approached a victim who was sitting on a bench. The female began name-calling and telling the victim they were going to die. The female punched the victim, pulled their hair, and attempted to push them off the bench. The female was located and arrested for Assault IV, Menacing, and Disorderly Conduct II. She was lodged at the jail.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1900-block of NW 9th St for failure to signal a lane change. The driver, a 37-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was driving with a criminally suspended license and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 31st St for a report of a person who appeared high and was becoming violent. Officers contacted a 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was not communicating with officers. He was transported to the hospital by medical personnel. Inside his wallet were two fake IDs, which were seized. No criminal charges were pursued.

Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. She had multiple warrants for her arrest and was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was stopped for a traffic violation. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

May 27th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- An officer was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center lobby for a report of a sex offender in the lobby who was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The officer contacted a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and issued him a citation for the offense.

Franchise Requirement / Littering / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 1800-block of NW 9th St and found two subjects rummaging through a dumpster. The officer went to stop the two, and one fled on foot. The subject who did not flee refused to identify himself, was uncooperative, and was ultimately detained by the officer. The subject who fled was not located. Officers were able to identify the detained subject as a 50-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a state-wide Parole Board warrant. He was transported to the jail.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St. A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, stole items and fled the business. The male was located by officers nearby. The items were recovered, and the male was cited in lieu of custody.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to the 1400-block of SW Brooklane Dr for a vehicle vs bicycle collision. It was determined the bicyclist, a 24-year-old female, Corvallis resident, failed to stop at the crosswalk and was issued a citation for the incident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 2700-block of SW Wake Robin Pl for a report of a trespass complaint. The officer contacted a 72-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 4th St for a vehicle collision with injuries. Officers were able to determine a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, ran a stop sign. The male was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was issued a citation for the incident. The occupants of the other involved vehicle were uninjured.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 1300-block of SE Goodnight Ave for a report of a city ordinance complaint. The officer contacted a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

May 26th

Warrant Arrest- Dispatch received a request from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to attempt to located a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had a warrant for his arrest out of the Washington County Circuit Court. Officers were able to locate the male, and he was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in. The male had a warrant for his arrest, and was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of SE Rivergreen Ave for a welfare check on a subject lying in the grass. Officers arrived in the area and located a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the 1500-block of NW 9th St to report a male and female on the business property refusing to leave when asked to do so. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 22-year-old female, no fixed address, still on the property. The female was issued a citation for trespassing and, additionally, trespassed from the business complex and released. The male fled the area when police arrived and was not located.

Possession of Inhalants / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male “huffing” at the back of the business. An officer contacted a 48-year-old male, no fixed address. The male immediately ran at the officer and ran into the officer’s patrol vehicle. The male was holding the inhalant and appeared to be under the influence of inhalants. He had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was ultimately cited for possession of inhalants and transported to the Linn County jail for his warrants.

Identity Theft- An officer spoke with a fraud victim located in the 1100-block of SE Rivergreen Ave. It was reported by the victim that an unknown suspect had attempted to open a credit card in the victim’s name. The incident was reported to the bank and there is currently no financial impact to the victim.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a theft complaint. It was determined a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, entered the business, stole items, and fled. The male was located approximately a half an hour later and was taken into custody for Theft III. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was cited in lieu of custody and trespassed from the business.

Trespass II / Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. A male was reported to be in the area of the dumpsters, refusing to leave. The officer contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody for trespass and the warrants.

Attempted Burglary- A victim in the 1300-block of SW E Ave reported hearing someone at their door who then attempted to kick the door. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was located and identified a short distance away, however there was no probable cause established for an arrest.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted near the 100-block of SW 1st St.

Warrant Arrest- A 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody on several active warrants after being stopped for a speeding violation on SW 3rd St. He was booked the jail.

May 25th

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, threatening a person sitting on a bench. Officers arrived on scene and learned the suspect female was upset a person was sitting on her favorite bench. The suspect then repeatedly walked by the person, yelling, cussing, and threatening them. The suspect was located, arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Theft- Victim reported a subject stole her jacket and would not return it. Officers arrived in the 1400-block of SE Vica Way and contacted the suspect, a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, still wearing the stolen jacket. The female suspect was arrested, issued a citation and released. The jacket was returned to the victim.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash into a tree around NE Walnut Blvd and NE Conser St. Officers arrived on scene and developed probable cause to arrest the driver, a 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, with DUII.

Hit & Run- An officer took a report of a hit and run in the 1800-block of SW Whiteside Dr. The driver of the suspect vehicle initially stopped, but then left the scene without exchanging information. The victim only wanted an information exchange. The driver of the other vehicle did not speak English, resulting in some of the confusion.

Trespass- A 33-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassed from a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Menacing / Attempted Assault / Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Officers responded to the 3400-block of NW Crest Dr for a domestic disturbance complaint. A 46-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was causing a disturbance in the front of the residence. During the disturbance, the male threw beers at his father’s car, broke multiple dishes, attempted to punch his father, and pointed a pellet gun at his father and threatened him with it. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Package Theft- An unknown suspect stole packages off the front porch of a residence in the 2800-block of NW Polk Ave sometime overnight. There was video of the suspect provided to police.

May 24th

Criminal Trespass II / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of NW 27th St for a report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, kicking over bikes, yelling, and cussing. Officers arrived in the area and contacted the suspect, who was agitated and yelling. The male was detained, and officers were able to obtain video of the subject kicking over an uninvolved subject’s bike as he walked past in the park. Additionally, officers learned the male was trespassed from all city parks. He was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave for a trespass complaint. The caller reported a previously trespassed male was back on the property. The officer contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, and took the male into custody for trespass. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer contacted a male in the 400-block of SW C Ave. The subject, a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, had several outstanding warrants. The male was taken into custody, and controlled substances were located on his person. The male was transported to and lodged at the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers located a vehicle in the 1500-block of NW 9th St that had been called in as a possible intoxicated driver and conducted a traffic stop. The officer developed probable cause to believe the driver, a 64-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was impaired and was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer contacted a male in the 400-block of SW C Ave. The subject, a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and controlled substances were located on his person. The male was issued citations.

Criminal Mischief- An officer noticed the glass bus shelters at the intersection of NW Monroe Ave and NW Kings Blvd were shattered. No suspect information available.

May 23rd

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a city park in the 600-block of NW 27th St after having been previously trespassed, and was cussing near children. The male was taken into custody for Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation.

Theft / Trespass- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, stole merchandise from a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd, from where he had also been previously trespassed. The male was subsequently arrested for Trespass I and Theft III. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Theft- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for theft after he stole merchandise from a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Littering- An unknown subject dumped trash in Dixon Creek. A witness provided a possible suspect vehicle description, but officers were unable to develop probable cause.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3500-block of NE Lancaster St. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at SW 2nd St and SW Washington Ave. The driver of the vehicle initially provided a false name before ultimately identifying himself. The driver, a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a parole violation warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked at the Linn County Jail.

Special Response Notice- An officer responded to a loud noise complaint in the 300-block of NW 23rd St. The officer used a decibel meter and determined the music coming from a residence was in violation of municipal code. The residence was issued an SRN for Amplified Sound.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle near NW 9th St and NW Reiman Ave for a traffic violation. The officer developed probable cause to believe the driver, a 66-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was impaired and ultimately arrested the driver for DUII.

Special Response Notice- An officer responded to a loud noise complaint in the 600-block of NW 21st St. The officer heard loud yelling and noise coming from the residence, which could be heard a significant distance away. The occupants were issued an SRN for Loud Noise.

May 22nd

Warrant Arrest- A 50-year-old female, Junction City resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn herself in on an active warrant. The female was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Trespass- A 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, returned to a facility from which he had been previously trespassed in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was cited for Trespass and transported to the Crisis Center at his request.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- A Corvallis detective observed reckless vehicle operation in the area of NW Hwy 99 and NW Lewisburg Ave. The driver, a 46-year-old female, Independence resident, refused to stop for the detective and continued into Corvallis where she was stopped by uniformed officers in marked vehicles in the 600-block of NW Elks Blvd. After investigation, it was determined the female was impaired. She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where a DRE evaluation was conducted. The female was ultimately cited for DUII, Reckless Driving, and DWS-Misdemeanor.

Driving While Suspended- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Buchanan Ave and NW 11th St. The driver, a 38-year-old male, Sisters resident, was found to be driving on a criminally suspended license. He was arrested and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a previously trespassed female who had returned to the property. The 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested and released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of SW C Ave for a report of a female inside the caller’s apartment who wouldn’t leave. A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice from the location and left.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 2200-block of NE Conser St for a complaint of a verbal domestic dispute. While responding, dispatch advised the male half had left in a blue truck and that he was reportedly intoxicated. An officer located and stopped the vehicle near the 1300-block of NW Circle Blvd. The driver was contacted and the officer developed probable cause to arrest him for DUII. The driver, a 48-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was booked into the jail.

Violent Conduct / Minor in Possession- Officers responded to a residence in the 600-block of NW 27th St for a fight. Upon arrival, officers located two 18-year-old males, both Corvallis residents, who were involved in the fight and detained them. There were numerous other people present in the area who began leaving and fleeing the area on foot as police arrived. Through speaking to witnesses and bouncers at the residence, officers learned the two males who were initially detained were the instigators of the fight. They were issued citations for Violent Conduct. As they were under 21, they were also both issued citations for MIP.

May 21st

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was reportedly screaming at people and lunging in front of vehicles in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The male was contacted and determined to have a warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he received a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and a 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, at a residence in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave. Both were arrested on active warrants and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Criminal Trespass II / Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Cummings Ave for a report of a male who had returned to the property after being trespassed and was cutting vegetation in the forested area. A 68-year-old male, no fixed address, was located on the property. He initially ran from officers before being detained. He was arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a female who was refusing to leave and harassing customers. A 68-year-old female, Eugene resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Suspicious Activity- An officer was patrolling around businesses in the 1900-block of NW 9th St when they came across a subject wearing a mask behind a business. The person fled on foot after seeing the officer’s vehicle. While other officers were looking for the subject, another officer came across multiple new packages of restaurant cleaning supplies in the middle of the street nearby. Officers were unable to locate any obvious signs of burglary at any businesses in the area. A report was taken to document the suspicious activity.
