| February 5th |
Theft- A business in the 400-block of SW Madison Ave reported a cold theft of a canopy bearing the business logo. The canopy was worth $1,200. Trespass / Resisting Arrest / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW Twin Oaks Cir for the report of a 27-year-old female, no fixed address, and a 56-year-old male, also no fixed address, who were trespassing on private property. Officers contacted both and discovered the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male resisted arrest while being taken into custody. He was transported to the jail, while the female was warned for trespassing. Criminal Trespass II- An employee from a business in the 300-block of SW Jefferson Ave called to report a male yelling and cursing inside the business. Officers arrived at the business and located a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from said business. The male was arrested, removed from the property, issued a citation and released. Theft II- An employee called from the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl to report a theft suspect leaving the area. Officers responded to the business and learned the suspect stole merchandise valued at $159 and fled the area in a vehicle. A Benton County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and identified the driver as a 61-year-old male, Newport resident. The stolen merchandise was recovered, and the male was issued a citation for theft. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW 23rd St and NW Harrison Blvd. The driver, a 19-year-old male, Medford resident, was arrested subsequent to investigation on scene for DUII. Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a 76-year-old male, Salem resident, who was refusing to leave. He was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released with a criminal citation. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 21st St and NW Polk Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released. |
| February 4th |
Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a report of two females who stole multiple items from a store. The females fled in a vehicle before officers arrived and were not located. Theft / Trespass- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 200-block of NW 1st St. The male was discovered to be wanted by officers for a previous theft and trespass. He was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center. Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol when he contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, in Central Park. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Nudity / Open Container- A caller reported a nude female at the bus stop near NW Kings Blvd and NW Buchanan Ave. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 60-year-old female, no fixed address, who was indeed nude with an open container of alcohol at the bus stop. The female was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, provided some clothing from the jail, issued a citation and released. Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 1st St for a report of a female talking nonsensically and worrying passersby. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, inside the business. She refused to leave when asked to do so, was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released. Trespass II- A caller reported a previously trespassed subject was back on the property. Officers arrived at the address and found a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, in the area. The female was trespassed from the property and left the area. Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Corvallis Fire Department ambulance crew reported a female entered their ambulance and refused to exit when they responded to a call in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave. The subject, a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, was later located on an unrelated call and cited for UEMV. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 50-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 3200-block of SE Midvale Ave who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the jail. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 42-year-old female, no fixed address, in Avery Park, who had multiple warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations. Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody on an active Linn County warrant after officers responded to a noise complaint in the 500-block of SW 4th St. He was transported to the Linn County Jail. |

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St after being told not to return the previous day. The male was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Trespass II and left the area. Criminal Mischief- An unknown person sprayed graffiti on a fenced-in garbage area of a business in the 2100-block of NW 9th St. No suspect was identified. Theft- Caller reported their electric scooter was stolen from outside their residence in the 500-block of SW 5th St. Criminal Mischief- Caller reported graffiti was sprayed on their building in the 500-block of SW 2nd St. Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on several active warrants. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail. Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being stopped for a bicycle violation near NW 9th St and NW Cornell Ave. Theft- Victim reported a package was mis-delivered by a large, online retailer, to the wrong address. |

Trespass- A 25-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in a residence in the 400-block of SW Adams Ave for a trespass complaint. The caller reported the female was on the balcony of her residence and took some décor. The female was taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and issued a criminal citation. Assist Other Agency- A 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of SW 4th St. The Albany Police Department had probable cause to arrest the female for one of their investigations. The female was taken into custody and transferred to the custody of APD. Identity Theft- Caller reported an unknown person used their personal information to apply for multiple community colleges. The caller was apparently accepted by one of the colleges and received a check for over $800. The caller was not out any money but was concerned their personal identifying information was compromised. Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male, Salem resident, was stopped for a traffic violation at SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd. The male’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level, and he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a criminal citation for DWS and the warrant. Trespass- A 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for trespassing in the 800-block of NW 10th St. |
| February 1st |
Trespass / Warrant Arrest / Resisting Arrest- An officer observed a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, on the property of a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St from which she had been previously trespassed. The officer also discovered she had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and the warrants. The female attempted to pull away from the officer and threatened to kick him in the groin while raising her leg, at which point the female was taken to the ground. She was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and transported to the jail. Theft- Caller reported her purse was stolen while she attended a party at a residence in the 2100-block of NW Harrison Blvd. There were multiple people at the party and no cameras in the residence. No suspect was identified. Harassment- Officers responded to a residence in the 5500-block of SW Country Club Dr for a report of multiple domestic issues between the caller and her ex-boyfriend. There was no reported crime during the first response. During the second response, the caller reported the ex-boyfriend threw a cup of soda at her while she was walking her dog. The male was not contacted on scene, but was later contacted and denied throwing soda at the caller. There were no independent witnesses to the event, so no arrest was made. Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- A 54-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation at SE 3rd St and SE Crystal Lake Dr. The male’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level. He was issued a criminal citation. Trespass- A 25-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for Trespass after she reportedly tried to enter a multi-dwelling residence in the 500-block of NW 23rd St. |
| January 31st |
Assault- Officers responded to a reported assault in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect, a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, had left the area. There is probable cause to arrest the suspect for Assault II and Interfering with Making a Report, as the suspect is believed to have stolen the victim’s phone after the assault. Warrant Arrest- While investigating an unrelated call for service, officers contacted a 21-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave who had an active warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation and released. Warrant Arrest- An officer on routine patrol contacted a subject, a 48-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl whom the officer knew to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation. Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a park in the 4400-block of SW Country Club Dr for a report of a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, who was swearing at and charging at park-goers and their children. The caller retreated to their car for safety and then saw the male chase another male on a bike. The suspect male was contacted by police and appeared intoxicated, acting aggressively. The male was taken into custody after resisting arrest. After a jail clearance at the hospital for intoxication, the male was lodged at the Benton County Jail. Open Container of Alcohol / Warrant Arrest- An officer was dispatched to an attempt to locate a vehicle in a business parking lot in the 2400-block of NW 9th St. The caller saw a male, later identified as a 25-year-old male, Corvallis resident, drinking alcohol in his parked vehicle before exiting the vehicle and losing his balance. The officer contacted the male and saw him possess an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle which he was attempting to discard on the floorboard when the officer arrived. Officers were unable to find any video or witnesses of the male driving, and it appeared he had been at the location for a substantial amount of time. The male was taken into custody for Open Container of Alcohol as well as active warrants for his arrest. He was transported to and lodged at the Benton County Jail. Assist Other Agency- Officers responded to the 28000-block of Hwy 34 to assist Benton County Sheriff’s Officer deputies with a stolen vehicle out of Albany. A 62-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested by deputies and a Corvallis K9 assisted in the vehicle search. Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to a residence in the 1600-block of NW Highland Dr for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action. Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to the parking lot of a business in the 1100-block of NE Circle Blvd for a single vehicle accident. Investigation did not yield evidence of impairment, and the crash occurred on posted private property. Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Hayes Ave and NW Division Pl. The driver, a 43-year-old female, Albany resident, was found to be driving on a criminally suspended license. She was issued a criminal citation. Theft I / Theft III / Disorderly Conduct II / Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers responded to a business in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of people yelling about a stolen laptop. While officers were en route, it was learned the individuals were physically fighting over the property. On arrival, the suspect, a 22-year-old male, Washington resident, ran from officers. He was later located in the area and again ran from officers. The male was arrested and transported to the hospital for a jail clearance, then transported to the jail where he was lodged. Trespass- Officers responded to the area of NW 14th St and NW Jackson Ave for a report of a caller chasing a male who had unlawfully entered their residence. Investigation determined a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had entered the residence without permission. He was located by OSU PD officers near SW Jefferson Ave and SW Waldo Pl. Officers arrested him, transported him to the Law Enforcement center, and issued criminal citations. |
| January 30th |
Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 47-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 4700-block of SW Research Way, who had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant. Theft- Officers were dispatched to the report of a bicycle theft in the 3700-block of SW Bunchberry Ave. The victim reported she had a GPS located on the bike which was pinging to the 1900-block of NW Hayes Ave. Officers located the bike in the area, but no one was on it. Two males in the area were spoken to, but they did not claim ownership of the bike. The bicycle was returned to its owner. Motor Vehicle Accident (Injury)- Officers responded to the 6300-block of SW West Hills Rd for a report of an injury traffic crash. It was reported a driver veered off the roadway and into a tree. Officers contacted the driver and sole vehicle occupant, a 55-year-old female, Blodgett resident. The cause of the accident was believed to be medically related, and no citations were issued. Contempt of Court- Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 2000-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was the respondent in a no-contact order, and was with the protected party at the time of officer contact. The male was arrested for violation of the no-contact order and taken to the jail. Theft- Officers contacted a subject in the 2000-block of NW Monroe Ave who reported a theft. She reported a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been living with her had stolen property from her. This led to a physical altercation with another roommate. Ultimately, there was no probable cause for arrest for this incident. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 22-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 2400-block of NW Rolling Green Dr. The male had a warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation for his warrant. Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 200-block of NW 7th St for a person who was reported to be stripping naked and lying down. Officers contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, in a state of partial undress. The male also had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants in the 200-block of NW 3rd St. He was issued criminal citations and released. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a theft. Officers located the suspect, a 32-year-old female, no fixed address, a few blocks away and stopped her. While speaking with her, an officer spotted a methamphetamine pipe sticking out of her pocket. She was arrested for PCS (Methamphetamine) and charged with Theft III. She was transported to the jail where she was lodged. |

Trespass- A caller reported a subject sitting outside the building in the 1600-block of NW Monroe Ave, whom they wanted trespassed from the property. An officer arrived on scene and contacted a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, at the building. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the area. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 67-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area of SW 3rd St and SW Hopkins Ave who had several active warrants for his arrest. Officers detained the male, issued him citations for the warrants, and released him. Minor in Possession (Alcohol)- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St for a report of a minor who had snuck alcohol into the business and was arguing with staff. An 18-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was issued a citation for MIP. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Reckless Endangering (x6) / Minor in Possession (Alcohol and Marijuana)- Officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for excessive speed and apparent loss of traction in the curves near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Chapman Pl. Subsequent to investigation on scene, the driver, an 18-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for DUII. All seats inside the vehicle were full, and two individuals were located in the trunk of the vehicle. The driver was released on criminal citations. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 300-block of SW 3rd St who was the subject of active warrants. He was ultimately issued criminal citations and released. Criminal Trespass I- Officers responded to a residence in the 3200-block of SW Orchard Ave for a report of an intoxicated male who had been located on the caller’s couch when they returned to the residence. The male left when asked, but was located and detained in the area during the police response. The 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested, transported to his own residence, and released on a criminal citation. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Criminal Trespass I- Officers responded to a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a female refusing to leave. The 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested and found to be in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. She was transported to the jail where she was lodged. Failure to Register as a Sex Offender / Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to a facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a male who was refusing to leave. The 69-year-old male, Eugene resident, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender due to his non-compliant status. He was transported to the jail where he was lodged. |

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued citations in lieu of custody for multiple active warrants in the 800-block of NW Chipmunk Pl. Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, Albany resident, was issued a citation for an outstanding warrant at the Law Enforcement Center. Trespass- A 26-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for trespassing at a business in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave. She was transported to the Crisis Center where she was cited and released. Open Container- A 43-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in an alley behind a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St. The male was consuming alcohol in public. He was issued a citation for Open Container. Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- A male suffered a medical event while walking through a parking lot in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave, falling to the ground. A vehicle parked in the lot backed out of its spot and the driver did not see the male on the ground. The vehicle struck the male as he was lying on the ground. He was transported to the hospital by medics. Theft- A bike was stolen from a rack in the 900-block of SW 15th St sometime in the past few days. No suspect information available. Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer observed a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, driving in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The officer recognized the male and knew he was DWS Misdemeanor. The officer contacted the male after he parked in a parking lot and issued him a citation. Warrant Arrest- A 28-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted at her residence in the 5400-block of NW Stardown Dr during a welfare check on a male who lived at the residence. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Menacing- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Adams Ave after a vehicle pulled up to the caller, pointed a firearm at them, and then drove off. The vehicle was not located during the initial response. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 24-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1200-block of SW Avery Park who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and a trespass notice from the park. Missing Person- Officers contacted a 73-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 3400-block of SW Deschutes Ave who was listed as a Missing Person. He was transported to the hospital for care as he had been exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. |

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued citations in lieu of custody for multiple outstanding warrants in the 1800-block of NE Four Acre Pl. Theft- Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole a bag of cans off the front porch of a residence in the 700-block of SW 3rd St. Trespass- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 700-block of NE 2nd St. She had been previously trespassed from the business and was issued a citation for trespassing. Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was issued citations in lieu of custody for multiple outstanding warrants in the 100-block of SW Wake Robin Ave. Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued citations for multiple warrants for her arrest in the 100-block of NW 5th St. Violation of an Order- A 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for violating an active restraining order in the 100-block of SW Wake Robin Ave. The male was present at the location with his caseworkers. Everyone was under the impression the restraining order had been dropped, but it had not been. He was issued a citation and all parties advised of the active order and provided information for how to contact the court to have the order rescinded. Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center after it was learned he was out of compliance with his sex offender registration requirements. He was issued a citation. Hit and Run- A vehicle struck another parked vehicle in a parking lot in the 1500-block of NW 9th St and then left the scene without leaving information or attempting to contact the vehicle owner. The suspect was contacted at their residence, and ultimately admitted to striking the other vehicle. The driver, a 55-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was issued a citation for Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver. Hit and Run- A vehicle struck another vehicle in a parking lot of a business in the 800-block of NW 9th St. The victim initially reported the incident online and reported the incident may have been captured on camera in the area. Surveillance video is being obtained. Telephonic Harassment- Caller reported her former boss had been engaging in repeated, unwanted telephonic contact with her. The caller was advised to block the number from the suspect and contact officers if the contact continued. The suspect, a 62-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was told to stop contacting the victim. Trespass- Caller reported a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was on the property of their business in the 2600-block of NW Tyler Ave after having been previously trespassed. The male was contacted inside the bathroom of the business and taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation. Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of NW 2nd St after a report of him aggressively panhandling and yelling. No probable cause was developed to believe a crime had occurred, but the male had multiple active warrants for his arrest, and was therefore issued a citation in lieu of custody. Warrant Arrest- A 36-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on active warrants after being contacted in the 1700-block of NW 9th St. |

Warrant Arrest / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Resisting Arrest / Interfering with a Peace Officer- See more here: DUII Arrest Made Following Community Driving Complaints. Theft- An officer took a report of a theft which had occurred at a business in the 900-block of NW Beca Ave. A male entered the business, donned a pair of sweatpants, and left without paying for them. An employee confronted the suspect about paying for the pants, though the suspect merely laughed and left. Officers have obtained video of the suspect. Hit and Run- Caller was stopped at a red light at NW 2nd St and NW Van Buren Ave when the vehicle in front of them attempted to change lanes by reversing and backed into the victim’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle was a black SUV with a tire rack on the back and was last seen turning onto Peoria Rd. |

Theft- An officer responded to a hotel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St after a resident stated someone stole their credit card and some cash. The reporting party thought they knew the person who allegedly took their property, but they did not wish to have law enforcement further investigate the case. Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 53-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW B Ave. The female was the subject of several active warrants and was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants. Trespass- Officers responded to the 300-block of SW 3rd St for a trespass complaint. Officers contacted a 53-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and issued him a trespass notice from the property. Theft- An officer took a report in the 2000-block of NW Taylor Ave of an attempted theft. The caller reported an unknown person attempted to steal their propane tank. The suspect was not located or identified. Hit and Run- Victim reported her vehicle was struck by a black Kia SUV near the intersection of NW 16th St and NW Jackson Ave. The suspect vehicle circled the block, and the driver retrieved some of the discarded vehicle parts from the ground before leaving the scene again. Victim did not get a license plate from the suspect vehicle. Driving While Suspended (Felony)- A 40-year-old female, Philomath resident, was taken into custody for DWS Revoked (Felony) after being stopped for a traffic offense near NW 9th St and NW Buchanan Ave. Warrant Arrest- A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after officers responded to a trespass complaint in the 800-block of NW 9th St. |
| January 24th |
Trespass I / Vandalism- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a 25-year-old female, no fixed address, trespassing. The suspect entered the business from which she had been previously trespassed, grabbed some items and proceeded to damage the containers and consume the contents inside. After being detained, the female also proceeded to blow mucus out of her nose and onto an officer. She was transported to the jail. Open Container- Officers responded to an altercation in the 200-block of SW 6th St. An intoxicated subject, a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was involved in the incident and upsetting others. Officers contacted the subject and found she was in possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a 25-year-old male, no fixed address, who employees identified as a suspect in a previous theft. The male left on his own and was subsequently contacted and identified by officers. The subject was found to have a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Bicycle Theft- Victim reported an unknown suspect stole parts off their bicycle while it was parked at their residence in the 3200-block of NW 9th St. Fraud- Victim reported their computer may have been hacked, and the IT number that was displayed was called, and the IT person then asked for an unreasonable amount of money. Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted near SW 3rd St and SW Madison Ave. |
| January 23rd |
Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 7th St for a complaint of two females yelling in the area. An officer contacted one of the subjects, a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who had several active warrants for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody. The officer contacted a 29-year-old female, no fixed address. She was arrested for trespassing as well as two active warrants for her arrest. Trespass- An officer responded to a report of a trespass at a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The officer contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in the parking lot. The male had been previously trespassed from the business and was arrested for trespassing. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to a business in the 3500-block of NW Samaritan Dr. A crystalline substance was discovered on a person during an intake process and the substance was determined to be methamphetamine. Officers contacted a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, who was cited in lieu of custody for PCS-Methamphetamine. Theft by Deception- An officer contacted a Corvallis resident who reported he had been scammed. The victim received a phone call from a person claiming to be a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy and demanded money from the victim to avoid legal consequences. The victim gave the scammer approximately $1,100 before the call ended and the victim realized they had been scammed. Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a trespass complaint. Officers contacted a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who was refusing to leave the business, despite multiple requests to do so. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for trespass. Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the 700-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male who was striking a vehicle, then chased the vehicle as it drove away. Officers detained a 44-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was ultimately issued a citation in lieu of custody for Violent Conduct. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 2200-block of NW 9th St for a report of an intoxicated driver. Business staff noticed a driver was intoxicated. Officers contacted a 42-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and determined the male was indeed intoxicated. The male was arrested for DUII. |

The suspect fled the business, which recovered some of the property. Officers located the suspect and recovered additional property. At the time of her arrest, the suspect had another person’s credit card in her possession and could not articulate a reason why. She was also found to have an active warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 400-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a disorderly female. The officer located the subject, a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, and learned she had outstanding warrants. There was no probable cause for additional crimes related to the initial call for service, but the female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrants. Theft- An officer responded to a business in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St for a report of a shoplifter in custody. The officer learned a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, attempted to steal merchandise but was stopped outside the store by loss prevention staff. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft III and trespassed from the property. Theft- Officers responded to the 5000-block of SW Technology Lp for a report of a package theft. The caller reported they had just witnessed an unknown male take a package from their porch. Officers were unable to locate the suspect male. The employee confronted the male who left and was not identified. The male damaged the bike while trying to steal it. Hit and Run- Caller reported his vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd. The caller’s vehicle sustained less than $2,500 in damage. The owner of the suspect vehicle was identified as an 83-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The female was contacted, and an exchange of information was facilitated. Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, Albany resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 800-block of NW Harrison Blvd. The female’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level, and she had a warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Identity Theft- Caller reported she responded to an ad for an apartment for rent on Facebook Marketplace. She completed the application process and provided her social security number in the application. The caller was sent a request on Venmo for the application fee and noticed the name on the Venmo account did not match the name on the ad. The caller then received a call from an unknown number and a male was trying to get her to send money. The female did not send any money, and the suspect was not identified. Warrant Arrest- A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the 300-block of NW Van Buren Ave. The passenger, a 59-year-old male, Lebanon resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Shoplift- A convenience store employee in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St reported an unknown male stole a bottle of alcohol approximately 45 minutes earlier, drank part of it, and then tried to return the bottle for a refund. He left the store before officers arrived and was not located. Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of NW 4th St and NW Van Buren Ave. One driver, a 24-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. Both involved vehicles were towed from the scene due to their respective damage.

Investigation revealed the highly intoxicated male was loudly banging on the door, yelling, and twisting the doorknob. He was arrested, transported to the hospital for a jail clearance, and then transported to the jail where he was lodged. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Endangering / Reckless Driving- Officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 4th St after observing it leaving the area of a local bar and performing multiple traffic violations. The vehicle yielded to emergency lights before acting strangely, leaving the scene, and then yielding again around the corner. A high-risk traffic stop was performed due to the behavior constituting a gross deviation from the general motoring public, which caused a temporary closure of NW 4th St. The six passengers and the driver, a 21-year-old male, Lebanon resident, were detained on scene. The passengers were released after questioning, and the driving was arrested based on investigation on scene. Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a male refusing to leave. The 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and then released with a criminal citation. Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- Officers heard a person screaming for help in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl and located two individuals. One individual alleged that a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, choked them, but investigation was unable to develop probable cause to substantiate this claim. Theft I- An officer was dispatched for a theft of more than $6,000 after the victim saw the withdrawal from their bank account. An unknown subject created a check with the victim’s information and cashed it somewhere along the east coast. Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of NW 3rd St and NW Van Buren Ave. One of the drivers, a 65-year-old male, Albany resident, had an active warrant for his arrest and was transported to the Linn County Jail. Theft II / Criminal Trespass- A loss prevention employee called from the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl to report a subject stopped with stolen merchandise. Officers responded to the business and a contacted the employee and a 37-year-old male, Salem resident. The male confessed to concealing an item and leaving the store without purchasing it. He was issued a trespass notice for the business and a citation for Theft II. Assist Other Agency- Benton County Deputies requested assistance with a burglary in progress in the 7000-block of NW Mountain View Dr. Corvallis Police officers responded to assist and a 57-year-old male, Eugene resident, was located and arrested on the property. Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW Oak Ave for a single vehicle crash that pushed a parked vehicle onto the sidewalk. The male was detained and issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft III. Warrant Arrest- A 28-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NW 1st St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. Attempted Burglary- Caller reported an unknown male attempted to kick a door in to his business in the 700-block of SW 4th St. The caller went outside and confronted the male, who said he didn’t realize there was anyone inside the business and then left the area. After being taken into custody, the male was searched and drug paraphernalia was found in his possession. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to SE 3rd St and SE Rivergreen Ave for a traffic crash. The driver was identified as a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had struck a concrete median in the roadway, causing the crash. Officers observed the male appeared intoxicated. Video footage was obtained from loss prevention staff. Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a physical fight between two females. A 62-year-old female and 41-year-old female, both no fixed address, were identified as the suspects involved in the fight. Both claimed the other party was the primary aggressor. Neither party was injured, and both were issued a citation in lieu of custody for Violent Conduct. Trespass- A 34-year-old male, no fixed address, went into the backyard for a residence in the 800-block of NW 10th St and refused to leave. A 39-year-old female, no fixed address, was on the property after being previously trespassed. She walked out into the roadway, obstructing traffic, and refused to move to the sidewalk. Officers attempted to detain her, and she tried to pull away and kick at officers. While trying to physically restrain the subject, she pulled her right arm underneath her body and as an officer had hold of her wrist, she proceeded to bite the officer’s hand. The female subject was transported to the jail. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 46-year-old female, no fixed address, during a trespass complaint in the 500-block of NW 4th St. The female had a valid warrant for her arrest and was transported to the jail. Criminal Trespass- An employee called to report a subject asleep on the property in the 1700-block of NW 9th St whom they wanted removed. An officer arrived at the business and contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. The male was issued a trespass notice for the business and left the area. Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a subject on the property who had been previously trespassed and was now screaming and yelling at customers. Officers arrived at the location and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. After officers confirmed the male was previously trespassed from the location, he was arrested, removed from the area, and issued a citation for trespassing. Warrant Arrest- A caller reported a group of subjects “hanging out” near the loading dock of a business in the 700-block of SW Washington Ave all afternoon and requested they move on. Officers arrived at the business and contacted the group. During the contact, officers learned a 24-year-old male, no fixed address, had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released. All three subjects were issued a verbal trespass warning for the property and agreed to move on. Theft- Officers contacted a resident in the 5000-block of SW Technology Lp for a report of a package theft. Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to a residence in the 3400-block of NE Lancaster St for a 9-1-1 hang-up call with what sounded like a dispute in the background. Officers contacted the individuals in the residence, and investigation revealed no probable cause for enforcement action. Warrant Arrest- During a response to a residence in the 3400-block of NE Lancaster St, a 30-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was contacted and determined to be the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released. Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 100-block of NW Jackson Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was arrested and transported to the jail, where he was lodged. |

Shoplift- An officer responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a shoplifter in custody. An 18-year-old female, Corvallis resident, stole multiple items from the business. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave for a complaint of a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, smoking an illicit drug. The subject was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of methamphetamine and was issued a citation. Burglary I- An officer responded to the 600-block of SW Sagebrush Dr after a resident returned home from break and found someone had unlawfully entered their residence. The unknown suspect stole several items from the house. Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of SW 4th St for a report of a subject on the property, refusing to leave, who had been told repeatedly to leave the property. Officers arrived in the area, but the subject, a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, had already left and was not located nearby. Menacing- Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 100-block of SW Prairie Ave. The initial report indicated multiple people arrived in a white SUV while wearing masks and possessing weapons to menace the residents there. The vehicle was located after leaving the scene and a high-risk stop was conducted by CPD and Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies near Hwy 20 and NE Circle Blvd. Six people were detained from the vehicle and two simulated firearms were seized. This incident remains under investigation. Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 4th St for a report of a male screaming loudly after destroying the bathroom. The 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a trespass notice at the request of the business. |

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A Community Service Officer responded to the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave after caller reported seeing someone had rummaged through their vehicle. The owner stated a backpack was stolen, containing over $1,000 worth of personal property. The backpack was subsequently located with the contents missing. Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of NW 3rd St for a report of a female causing a disturbance in the parking lot after being asked to leave. The suspect was identified as a 25-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Trespass II. Criminal Mischief- Caller reported the rear tires of their vehicle were slashed while it was parked outside their residence in the 3700-block of SW West Hills Rd. The caller was not sure when the incident occurred, and no suspect was identified. Trespass- Caller reported a male was on the property of a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St who had been previously trespassed. A 49-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted and trespassed. Burglary- Caller reported a cold burglary which had occurred at the laundry room of an apartment complex in the 2500-block of SW Pickford St. An unknown suspect attempted to drill into the coin machines but was unsuccessful. Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 2700-block of NW Tyler Ave for a report of a male who was refusing to leave the bathroom and causing a disturbance. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation due to jail capacity. |

Trespass- A business in the 500-block of SW 4th St called to request a subject be trespassed from the property. Officers arrived and contacted a 51-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was trespassed from the property. Theft I- Residents in the 500-block of SE Firefly Ave reported multiple boxes of private property were stolen. The boxes had been stored at the residence under a carport. The items were placed there in November, and a specific time they were stolen was unknown. Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was contacted at Central Park. The male was taken into custody for a warrant and transported to the jail. Theft- Caller came to the Law Enforcement Center to report bank fraud. The caller stated she had $125 withdrawn from her bank account from a fraudulent online purchase. No suspect was identified. Fraud- Caller received a phone call from a male claiming he had kidnapped the caller’s daughter because she had seen a drug deal, and he could hear a female frantically crying in the background. The male directed the caller to send him $5,000 in gift cards or he would hurt the caller’s daughter. The caller did not send the male money, and the male eventually hung up on the caller. The caller was able to contact his daughter and confirm she was safe. Disorderly Conduct- Caller reported a male was yelling in the 1900-block of NW Garfield Ave and got in the face of a passerby. The caller’s girlfriend stated the male chased her back into the caller’s residence when she went outside. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail. Attempted Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Caller reported a male was walking in his neighborhood in the 2500-block of NE Jack London St and was checking door handles on vehicles. The male left the area prior to officer’s arrival but was soon located. The suspect was identified as a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, and was taken into custody for Attempted UEMV x2. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation. Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on several active warrants after being contacted in the 500-block of NW 27th St. She was released with citations. |
