August 27th

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a hit and run which had occurred in the parking lot.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest / Trespass / Open Container- Officers contacted a 56-year-old male, no fixed address, in a park in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave who was the subject of active warrants and trespassed from city parks, due to previous incidents. Once the male was arrested, he was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The male was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Attempted Assault IV / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male who punched an employee after the male was confronted about attempting to steal items. The suspect was identified as a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, and was arrested. He had been previously trespassed from the business and was transported to the jail, where he was lodged.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a theft. The suspect was not immediately identified or located.

August 26th

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave to report a subject outside the business making them and a customer uncomfortable. Officers responded to the location and contacted a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, outside. The officers issued the male a Trespass Notice per the employee’s request, and the male left the area.

August 25th

Criminal Trespass I / Theft III- An employee called from the 1900-block of SW 3rd St to report a shoplift which had just occurred. Officers responded to the area and learned a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, stole multiple items from the business and left the area. The suspect was not located in the area, but the officer developed probable cause to arrest the male when he is located.

Theft / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a theft which had just occurred. The caller reported a female stole approximately $100 in merchandise. The suspect was identified as a 29-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and she was located at her residence. The female had a warrant for her arrest as well. The female was taken into custody for Theft III and her warrant and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Violation of Order- Officers responded to a residence in the 200-block of SW Pleasant Pl for a report of an argument between the caller and her boyfriend, a 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident. There was an active No Contact Order preventing the male from having contact with the caller. The male was taken into custody for Contempt of Court and transported to the jail.

Hit & Run- An officer was flagged down in the 1000-block of SW 3rd St by a citizen who reported they observed and hit and run and saw the driver and passenger of the vehicle switch seats before leaving the scene. The suspect vehicle was located in the area and the driver during the crash was found hiding in the backseat of the vehicle. The suspect was identified as a 21-year-old female, Lebanon resident, who also had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female admitted to backing into another vehicle and leaving. She was taken into custody for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver and her warrants and transported to the jail.

August 24th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center for a subject who failed to register as a sex offender. The officer contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was outside of their reporting requirements. The male was issued a citation and released.

Trespass- Caller reported a male appeared to be setting up camp on a construction site in the 2700-block of NW Kings Blvd. A 72-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the construction site and had begun to set up camp. The male was informed he needed to gather his property and leave the site, as it was private property. The male was issued a Trespass Notice and left the property.

Warrant Arrest- While on patrol, officers encountered a 56-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of SW Avery Park Dr and learned she had an active warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Illegal Camping- While conducting foot patrol in Avery Park, officers located a large campsite on the southeastern portion of the grounds. No individuals were present, and the camp location was annotated for a future clean-up.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was conducting patrol in the 900-block of SW E Ave when he contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address. Upon speaking with the male, it was learned he had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant and warned for trespassing.

Warrant Arrest- During a routine foot patrol, an officer encountered a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW B Ave. The officer learned the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail.

August 23rd

Criminal Trespass / Harassment- Caller reported a subject inside a business, refusing to leave when asked to do so in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd. The caller reported the subject was “combative” when asked to leave, and poked the employee in the chest during the exchange. An officer responded to the business and contacted a 71-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. The male was removed from the business, issued a citation for trespass and harassment, and released.

Criminal Trespass- Caller from the 400-block of SW 3rd St reported a subject asleep on a business’s property. The responding officer located a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, asleep, directly below a “no trespassing” sign. The male was arrested, removed from the property, issued a citation for trespassing, and released.

Theft II / Possession of Burglary Tools- An employee called from the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl to report a subject who previously stole from the business was back in the store. Officers contacted a 44-year-old male, Albany resident, inside the store. The male admitted to the previous theft and was arrested for the listed charges and trespassed from the business.

Criminal Trespass- Officers received a call from the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a subject who was previously removed from the property and trespassed now back on the property. Officers arrived and contacted the same 46-year-old male, no fixed address, back on the property. The male was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation for trespassing, and released.

Littering- A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was throwing trash in the roadway in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Littering.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 52-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted outside a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 65-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted outside a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1600-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 34-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1200-block of SW Avery Park Dr. During the contact, it was learned the female had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Disturbance- An uncooperative female contacted 9-1-1 and reported her husband was in danger after her ex-husband made threats to the female. The female was unable to be located or contacted to obtain more information about the incident. The female’s current husband was located and was not concerned for his or his wife’s safety.

August 22nd

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of SW 53rd St and SW Reservoir Ave for an injury traffic crash. Officers determined an 81-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was driving her vehicle and failed to yield the right-of-way to a bicyclist. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital by ambulance, and the driver was issued a traffic citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300-block of NW 3rd St for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device, however the vehicle failed to yield for approximately 1.5 miles before being blocked in by other patrol vehicles. The driver, a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, failed to obey verbal commands but was ultimately taken into custody. The driver was determined to be under the influence of intoxicants and was lodged at the jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a 35-year-old female, no fixed address, screaming nonsensically and trespassing. The female was contacted by officers off the property and advised not to return by request of the property owner.

Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the Benton County Courthouse for a report of a male throwing items at cars and threatening to kill people. The 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for Violent Conduct and Storing Property on the Public Way.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- A 27-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted by officers in the 800-block of NW Calliope Dr and was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and trespassed.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW 1st St for a report of a male who was soliciting guests and staff for sex while heavily intoxicated. Officers contacted the 51-year-old male, Lane County resident, and trespassed him from the property.

Warrant Arrest- A 58-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St and found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in a park in the 600-block of NW 27th St. The male had been previously trespassed from city parks. He was issued a citation for trespass.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Providing False Information- A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was stopped in the 600-block of SE Park Ave for a bicycle violation. The male initially provided a fake name to officers, but was ultimately identified. He was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and for Providing False Information and found to be in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. The male was booked at the jail.

Vehicle Tow- A vehicle was stopped in the 500-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a traffic violation. The driver did not have a valid license or insurance, and the vehicle was a traffic hazard where it was parked. The vehicle was towed.

Warrant Arrest- A 24-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted near NE Conifer Blvd and NE Cambridge Ave and found to have multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was cited in lieu of custody.

August 21st

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1600-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a male yelling at people in the parking lot. A 31-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested on an active warrant, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on a criminal citation. He was also issued a Trespass Notice from the business.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male who was making staff uncomfortable. The 60-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a non-injury crash at SW Western Blvd and SW 3rd St. A driver was issued a traffic citation for Following Too Close.

Criminal Trespass I / Theft II- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a female who was refusing to leave and had stolen items. Investigation determined the 22-year-old female, Lebanon resident, had entered the store, stolen items, and then returned and began attempting to steal more. She had also been previously trespassed from the store. She was arrested and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Attempted Theft by Extortion- An officer responded to a report of fraud. The caller reported an unknown suspect had messaged him demanding money or else they would send nude photographs of him to his family. There is no suspect information.

Trespass- An officer responded to a report of a trespass in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. A 22-year-old female, Lebanon resident, had returned to the store after having been trespassed. She was cited for trespassing.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of SE Goodnight Ave. The female had a warrant for her arrest. She was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 41-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1100-block of NW Kings Blvd. The female had a warrant for her arrest. She was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 49-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The male had a warrant for his arrest. He was cited and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations at NW Harrison Blvd and NW 6th St. The driver, a 21-year-old female, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment and performed SFSTs. She was ultimately arrested for DUII. Ave. A 35-year-old female reported she was being followed by a 60-year

August 20th

Trespass / Criminal Mischief / Littering- A 69-year-old male, no fixed address, erected a structure on private property in the 200-block of SW Cummings Ave. The male refused to leave when told to do so, and was subsequently arrested for Trespass II, Criminal Mischief III, and Offensive Littering. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation.

Weapon Offense- Officers responded to a report of possible gunshots fired in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The Community Livability Unit was in the area and confirmed hearing gunshots. Officers were assisted by BCSO who provided K9 and drone assets. A 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was located and arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Littering, Criminal Trespass I. The male was transported to the jail.

Burglary- Officers contacted a resident in the 1200-block of SW 53rd St who reported their garage had been entered approximately two weeks ago, and items were stolen from within.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 28-year-old female, Wilsonville resident, who was the subject of active warrants in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St. The female was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of NE Four Acres Pl for a report of a shoplift which occurred earlier in the day.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 1700-block of NW Menlo Dr who was the subject of active warrants. The male was arrested and transported to the Linn County jail.

Warrant Arrest / Follow-Up- Officers contacted a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 700-block of SE Rivergreen Ave who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a criminal citation for the active warrant and another citation for an active case.

Warrant Arrest- A 30-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of SE Goodnight Ave. He had warrants for his arrest and was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- A 36-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of SE Goodnight Ave. The female had warrants for her arrest and was issued citations.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to a trespass complaint in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted and trespassed from the property. The male also had warrants for his arrest and was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of SW B Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

Burglary / Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Theft- An officer took a report of a burglary/UEMV in the 2800-block of NW 29th St. The caller had left their garage door open, and an unidentified person entered the open garage and accessed the caller’s vehicle. A wallet and a few other items were taken from the vehicle. There is no suspect information at this time.

Attempted Assault IV / Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 2500-block of NW Taylor Ave. The victim reported he was in his vehicle when he was approached by a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, whom he did not know. The male appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and proceeded to attempt to assault the caller. The male then left the area. The male suspect was located a few blocks away and was taken into custody. He was ultimately booked into jail.

August 19th

Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St and found to have a warrant for her arrest. The female was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 53-year-old female, no fixed address, in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center after she turned herself in on an active warrant. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 21-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NE 3rd St and NW Buchanan Ave who had an active warrant. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr for a report of an argument. Officers determined there was no physical altercation, however during this incident they contacted a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, who had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Carrying a Concealed Firearm- Officers responded to the area of NW 9th St and NW Polk Ave for a report of a non-injury crash. A pickup truck impacted a street sign and fire hydrant in the area. As officers arrived, the driver, a 23-year-old male, Washington resident, ran away from the scene. The male returned to the scene moments later and was detained. He was in possession of a concealed handgun when he was detained. The male showed signs of impairment and refused field sobriety tests. He did not have a valid concealed handgun license in Oregon, and was therefore arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Criminal Mischief I, and Carrying a Concealed Firearm.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted two people behind a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. A 31-year-old male, no fixed address, had multiple warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody and booked into jail. A 27-year-old female, no fixed address, had multiple warrants and was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- A 50-year-old male, Polk County resident, stole some candy from a business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St. He was cited for theft.

August 18th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the area of NW Kings Blvd and NW Lincoln Ave for an abandoned vehicle. While on scene, officers contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Caller reported a previously trespassed male was back on the property of their business in the 1200-block of NW 10th St. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 46-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Trespass II.

Warrant Arrest- A 51-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 3000-block of NW Harrison Blvd while he was going through trash receptacles. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Hit & Run- Caller reported he was turning south on NW 29th St from NW Walnut Blvd and was struck by another vehicle making the turn. The other involved vehicle left the area immediately without exchanging information. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the other vehicle, and the caller was unable to provide a license plate for the suspect vehicle.

Warrant Arrest- While conducting routine patrol, an officer contacted a 34-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1600-block of SW Avery Ave. The officer learned the female had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

August 17th

Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the 600-bock of NW Monroe Ave for a reported assault in progress. It was reported a male was assaulting a female in the area. Officers contacted a 30-year-old male and a 32-year-old female, both no fixed address, and determined the two were fighting over a “meth pipe.” Both parties were issued citations in lieu of custody for Violent Conduct.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 700-block of SW 7th St for a trespass complaint. The suspect, a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was not located in the area at the time. Officers returned later and issued the male a trespass notice from the property.

Theft- Caller came to the Law Enforcement Center to report her parents sold her vehicle without her permission. Caller stated she had parked the vehicle at her parent’s residence in the 1300-block of SW Scott St for the last few years while she attempted to get it running. It was determined the caller had agreed to give her parents the vehicle since she owed them money, and they sold the vehicle for the debt. However, they sold the vehicle for more than the caller owed them, so the caller believed her parents owed her the excess amount. Caller was advised this is a civil matter and no crime was committed.

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 1400-block of NW Van Buren Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Officers responded to a complaint of a female trespassing on a business property while yelling at customers in the 300-block of NW 3rd St. Officers located the 46-year-old female, no fixed address, and learned she had been previously trespassed from the business. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for trespass and released.

Menacing- Officers responded to the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a male menacing another male. Investigation revealed no criminal activity occurred, and there was an argument between the males stemming from a long running civil dispute.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave and contacted a 46-year-old female, no fixed address. During the contact, the officer learned the female had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants and was released.

August 16th

Failure to Yield / Operating a Vehicle without a Driver’s License- Officers were dispatched to the area of NW 29th St and NW Walnut Blvd for a report of a female being pushed out of a moving vehicle. An officer contacted the female, and a second officer located the suspect vehicle in the area of NE Jack London St and NE Circle Blvd. The suspect vehicle initially did not yield for the officer, but did stop at the intersection of NE Circle Blvd and NE Walnut Blvd. The female victim denied being pushed out of the vehicle, and the driver, a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, claimed she jumped out. No probable cause for a crime was established. However, the driver did not have driving privileges. He was issued a citation for Fail to Yield and Operating a Vehicle without a Driver’s License and released.

Criminal Trespass II- Caller reported a subject inside the business making people uncomfortable in the 1900-block of NW 9th St. Officers arrived at the business and contacted the 33-year-old male, no fixed address, outside. The male did not have a membership for the business and should not have been inside. The male was issued a trespass notice for the business, per the business’s request, and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 1st St for a report of a subject throwing items. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, who had active warrants for his arrest. The officers contacted nearby witnesses who reported an argument, but nothing physical and no crime. The male was arrested, issued a citation for the warrants, and released.

Offensive Littering- Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a subject not wearing pants, covered in feces, and rubbing the feces on himself. Officers arrived at the location and contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, holding a blanket around himself and covered in feces. The male was arrested for Offensive Littering, removed from the area, issued a citation, and released.

Open Container- An officer was on patrol in the Skate Park when he observed two subjects with open containers of alcohol in the park. The officer stopped the two subjects and identified them as a 23-year-old male and a 21-year-old male, both no fixed address. The officer issued both males citations for the open containers.

Franchise Requirement- An officer was on patrol when they observed a subject removing items from a dumpster. The officer stopped the subject and identified them as a 42-year-old male, no fixed address. The officer issued the male a citation for the offense.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 68-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. During the interaction, the officer learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- An officer responded to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male trespassing on the property. The 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was located and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a male in a loincloth flashing and yelling at pedestrians. Officers contacted the 54-year-old male, no fixed address, and transported him to the Law Enforcement Center, where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

August 15th

Trespass- An officer contacted a 46-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 600-block of NW 27th St and determined he was trespassing in a city park. The male was issued a citation for Trespass.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW B Ave. The male was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 600-block of SW 3rd St. The male had a warrant for his arrest/ He was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 60-year-old female, Corvallis resident, in the 1700-block of NW 9th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- While investigating an unrelated call for serviced in the 1800-block of NW 9th St, officers contacted a 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, outside a bar. The male admitted to drinking alcohol, was belligerent, and showed other indicators of impairment. While clearing from the unrelated call for service, officers observed the male drive away from the scene, despite being told not to drive. He was stopped a few blocks away and arrested for DUII.

August 14th

Disorderly Conduct- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II after displaying a torch-style lighting in a manner consistent with brandishing a firearm. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender / Warrant Arrest- A 76-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender after reporting to the Law Enforcement Center while out of compliance. It was also discovered he had an active warrant for his arrest. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 29th St and NW Walnut Blvd for a report of a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash. Investigation determined a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old male, Corvallis resident, rear-ended the motorcycle. Subsequent to investigation on scene, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving and transported to the Law Enforcement Center.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW 9th St for what was initially reported as a hit and run, but the other driver returned to the scene as law enforcement arrived. One driver was issued traffic citations for Fail to Yield Right of Way and Driving Uninsured.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of NW Circle Blvd and NW Whitham Hill Dr for a report of a two-vehicle collision. Investigation determined a driver ran the stop sign, causing the crash. The driver was issued a traffic citation for Fail to Obey a Traffic Control Device.

Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to a residence in the 3300-block of NE Lancaster St for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation did not lead to probable cause for mandatory enforcement crimes, and a report was taken for documentation.

Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of an intoxicated female refusing the leave. The 55-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on a criminal citation.

Violent Conduct / Open Container- Officers responded to a report of a male chasing a female in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave. Officers arrested a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, for Violent Conduct and Open Container. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 48-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave, who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 22-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd, who had an active warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 52-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW B Ave, who had an active warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 53-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 100-block of SW 2nd St, who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 42-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd, who had several active warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody for his warrants.

Violation of Order- Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 5500-block of SW Country Club Dr. Subsequent investigation determined a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had violated a restraining order. He was arrested and transported to the jail.

August 13th

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 4500-block of NW Big Oak Pl. It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Assault- Officers responded to the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of an assault which had just occurred. Officers searched the area for evidence of an assault but were unable to locate any. The reported victim wouldn’t meet with officers and ultimately stated over the phone he did not wish to proceed with the investigation.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male who stole alcoholic beverages.

Follow-Up Arrest- Officers located a 61-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of a Probable Cause Affidavit for arrest stemming from a theft investigation. He was ultimately released on a criminal citation for Theft I.

August 12th

Criminal Mischief / Attempted Assault of a Public Safety Officer- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 3rd St for a report of a vandalism which had just occurred. A 31-year-old male, Stayton resident, reportedly threw a rock through the window of a business. Officers located the suspect in the area and arrested him for Criminal Mischief I. During the course of the arrest, the suspect attempted to kick an officer in the leg. He was also charged with Attempted Assault of a Public Safety Officer and transported to jail.

Trespass- Caller reported a male had set up camp on the property of their business in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd. The caller wanted the male to leave the property/ A 35-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and was issued a trespass notice from the property.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Caller reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr. The caller’s laptop and briefcase were stolen from the vehicle. No suspect has been identified at this time.

August 11th

Trespass- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 2nd St after a business employee reported a male was refusing to leave their front patio after being asked to do so multiple times. Officers contacted a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, and determined he had been previously trespassed from the location. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr for a reported verbal argument between a male and female. A 24-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted and issued a citation for several active warrants after it was determined no additional crimes had been committed.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 700-block of NW 2nd St after a business employee reported a male was on the property yelling at passing vehicles. Officers contacted the 46-year-old male, no fixed address, and trespassed him from the property at the employee’s request.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a reported hit and run. A witness left a note on the victim’s vehicle with the license plate of the other involved vehicle. The operator of the suspect vehicle was contacted and was unaware they had backed into a vehicle, which had caused minor damage. A driver’s exchange of information was facilitated, and no criminal enforcement action was taken.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted another 58-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd who had several active warrants for his arrest. The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address in the 1300-block of SW Philomath Blvd who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, Albany resident, was contacted in the 1000-block of NW 5th ST for trespassing. It was determined the male had an active warrant for his arrest and he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft- A 31-year-old male, Stayton resident, stole merchandise from a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St and was later located by officers. The male was arrested for Theft III and transported to jail.

Trespass- Officers contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd after he reportedly urinated in public. The male was ultimately arrested for trespassing and was transported to the Law Enforcement Center, where he was released with a citaton.

August 10th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of Applegate St to assist the Philomath Police Department with a 43-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who they detained on an outstanding Corvallis Probable Cause Affidavit for Theft II, Forgery II, and Criminal Conspiracy. Officers took custody of the female and learned she also had multiple warrants for her arrest out of multiple jurisdictions. The female was lodged at the jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 200-block of NE Powderhorn Dr after it was reported a 64-year-old female, Corvallis resident, returned after previously being told not to return. The female was cited in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 1600-block of NW 29th St after it was reported a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, locked himself in a City Park bathroom after having been trespassed from all city parks. Officers contacted the suspect and issued him a citation in lieu of custody after he removed all his belongings from the park.

Warrant Arrest- A 58-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 500-block of SW 4th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Hit & Run- Caller reported an unknown person struck their vehicle while it was parked outside their residence in the 2600-block of NE Lancaster St. The caller reported damage to the passenger door of their vehicle which had occurred sometime in the past three days. There was no video and a suspect was not identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 2800-block of NW Grant Ave for a report of a male trespassing on the property who became aggressive when asked to leave. The suspect was identified as a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who had previously been trespassed from the business. The male was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a bicycle in the 400-block of SW 2nd St. The operator of the bicycle eventually identified himself as a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who had several outstanding warrants. He was arrested and issued a citation for his warrants.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 53-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 3rd St who had warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1100-block of NW Kings Blvd, who had an active felony warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist in the 600-block of NW 6th St, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation.

August 9th

Fraud- An officer took a report of a fraud in the 1700-block of NW 9th St. The caller reported someone had used their company credit card information to make several purchases at a store in Roseburg, OR. The report is being forwarded to Roseburg PD.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NE Circle Blvd and NE Four Acre Pl who was the subject of an active warrant. While in custody, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was ultimately released with criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest / Open Container- Officers contacted a 32-year-old female, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants, and a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, with an open container of alcohol in a parking lot in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave. They were both issued criminal citations and released.

Criminal Trespass I / Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male in the parking lot who refused to leave when asked to do so, and then went into the store to steal items. The 31-year-old male, Stayton resident, was arrested and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Criminal Trespass II / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male with a machete hanging out of his backpack who was barking at store employees and making individuals feel uncomfortable. The 49-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted by officers and detained at Taser point. He was in possession of a large, wooden club and was ultimately arrested for Criminal Trespass II and Disorderly Conduct II. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released.

Trespass II- Officers responded to a business in the 1000-block of NW 5th St for a report of a female who attempted to enter the caller’s truck. The 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was detained and ultimately arrested. She was transported away from the scene and released with a criminal citation.

Attempted Burglary- Victim reported he believed someone tried to burglarize his residence in the 500-block of NW 18th St over the weekend while he was gone. He stated he found the locks in the doors had been tampered with and there were footprints on the door. Entry was not gained into the residence.

Trespass- An employee in the 2600-block of NW 9th St reported a person who had been arrested for trespass the previous evening was now back in the store. A 31-year-old male, Stayton resident, was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a criminal citation.

August 8th

Burglary- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of NW 21st St for a theft complaint. The caller reported an unknown suspect entered his detached garage last night and stole a large generator.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of SW Madison Ave for a possible Stalking Order Violation. Officers contacted a 59-year-old male, no fixed address, and issued him a citation for outstanding warrants after it was determined he did not violate the Stalking Order.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd for what was initially reported as a hit and run. Investigation located both vehicles, and the drivers had pulled over in locations where they were not visible to each other. No criminal enforcement was taken and an exchange of information was facilitated between the drivers.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a 25-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 900-block of NW Jackson Ave for a bike violation. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to a loud party in the 1000-block of NE Kirsten Pl. The resident was issued an SRN for loud noise.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in a park in the 100-block of SW B Ave. The male had been previously trespassed from all city parks. He was issued a citation for Trespass and another trespass notice, extending the duration of his trespass from all city parks.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- An officer stopped a 61-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 400-block of NW 2nd St. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest. While he was detained, he was found to be in possession of controlled substances. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, for a bicycle violation in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct / Interfering with a Peace Officer- An officer observed a male walking in a lane of traffic on NW 9th St, near NW Reiman Ave. When the officer attempted to stop the male, he yelled obscenities to the officer and attempted to walk past the patrol vehicle. The male continued walking a short distance, ignoring commands. He was ultimately taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Interfering, and was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest / Providing False Information- An officer contacted a 73-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 2100-block of NW Professional Dr. The male initially gave the officer a false name. The male’s identity was discovered by officers, but he continued to provide false information. He ultimately admitted to his true identity and had warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- An officer took a report of criminal mischief in the 200-block of SW 2nd St. An employee of a business reported the rope barriers for their outside seating area had been cut. There was no suspect information.

August 7th

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 2600-block of NW 9th St for a call for service for an impaired driver. An officer contacted a 45-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and subsequently arrested her for DUII.

Trespass I / Theft III- An officer was in the 2500-block of NW Monroe Ave when he observed a female trying to detain a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. It was determined the male stole approximately $50 worth of merchandise from a local business. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Fraud- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Airport Ave for a report of a suspicious package that was intercepted prior to sending. Officers took custody of the package, confirmed the package was being sent fraudulently, and transferred the contents to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for return to the sender and continued investigation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave who was the subject of active warrants. The male was issued criminal citations and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a separate 47-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Harrison Blvd who was also the subject of active warrants. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 300-block of SW Wake Robin Ave for a report of two individuals refusing to leave the property. A 35-year-old female, Lebanon resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the property owner. A 30-year-old male, Philomath resident, was arrested on an active warrant and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Argument- A male and female were involved in a verbal argument in the 300-block of NW 2nd St. The male took the female’s shoes and threw them in the river. There was nothing physical that occurred between the two, and the female did not wish to pursue charges against the male for the shoes. They were separated for the night, and a case report was taken for documentation.

August 6th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 1400-block of NW 9th St after he was reported to be throwing items at cars. The male had a warrant for his arrest, and was cited in lieu of custody.

Fraud- Officers contacted a reporting party in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center who reported they had accepted a job from a cosmetic company in a foreign country they had found online. They would accept funds from customers and send the money to the company, who in turn promised to send the product to the customers. Customers have not received product from the company.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1100-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male in the parking lot being disruptive and refusing to leave. A 71-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business and left the area.

Littering / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male in the parking lot acting odd, flailing about, and swinging his arms. A 27-year-old male, Toledo resident, was arrested for Littering and PCS-Methamphetamine. He was transported to the jail.

Civil Issue- Officers investigated what was initially reported as a stolen vehicle in the 600-block of SE Park Ave. Investigation determined the situation was a civil issue between parties over unpaid debts.

Identity Theft- Officers contacted a caller in the 600-block of SW 2nd St who reported a credit card account was opened fraudulently in their name.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 56-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 300-block of NW Western Blvd who had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle near SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd for a traffic violation. The driver, a 29-year-old female, Corvallis resident, performed SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Disorderly Conduct- An officer responded to a business in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a complaint of disorderly conduct. A 31-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had followed a group from another business in town and was trying to pick fights. He was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and released.

August 5th

Theft / Resisting Arrest- An officer contacted a 39-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1000-block of NW Fremont Ave after observing her in possession of a stolen trash can. During the investigation, the female attempted to break contact with the officer and resisted arrest. She was ultimately taken to jail for Theft II and Resisting Arrest.

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 2200-block of NW Lincoln Ave who had active warrants for his arrest. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported their bicycle was stolen from Avery Park while they were swimming in the river. The bike was not locked up, and no suspect was identified.

Trespass- Caller reported a female who was involved in previously reported thefts at their business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St was back in the store. The suspect was identified as a 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The female paid for her items this time, but the caller wanted her trespassed from the business due to her involvement in the previous thefts.

Theft- Caller reported their bicycle helmet was stolen while inside a business in the 500-block of SW 3rd St. No suspect was identified.

Violation of Order / Warrant Arrest- Caller reported her ex-boyfriend, a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was knocking on the door of her residence in the 700-block of SW 3rd St. The caller reported she had a restraining order against the male. Officers responded and located the male in the area and discovered he also had warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody for the warrants and Violation of a No Contact Order. The male was transported to the jail.

Menacing / Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Sycamore Ave for a report of a male who had been pepper sprayed by a female. Officers contacted both subjects. Investigation revealed the male arrived at the female’s apartment and knocked on the door. When the female answered the door, the male pretended to have a firearm and threatened the female. The female then pepper sprayed the male and slammed the door shut. The 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for Menacing and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a bicycle in the area of NW Circle Blvd and NW Duniway Ave for a traffic violation. The cyclist, a 27-year-old male, no fixed address, had several active warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted during a disturbance complaint in the 5300-block of SW Country Club Dr.

Violation of a No Contact Order- A 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for violating a no-contact order after being contacted during a traffic stop in the company of the protected party. He was also being sought for a previous order violation with the same victim which occurred two days prior. He was booked at the jail.

August 4th

Warrant Arrest- A 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 3200-block of SE Midvale Dr and was found to have warrants for his arrest. The male was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Misuse of 9-1-1- An unknown caller called dispatch to report a “homicide in progress” near the intersection of SW 2nd St and SW Western Blvd. An area check did not locate any issues. The same caller called again a short time later reporting a disturbance at a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St that was also determined to be untrue. The caller was calling from a 9-1-1 only phone, so he could not be contacted for further investigation.

Argument- Officers responded to the area of NW 9th St and NW Garfield Ave for a report of an argument between two subjects. The two subjects were still arguing when officers arrived. The subjects were known to each other and arguing over money. No probable cause for law enforcement action was found.

Violation of Protective Order- Officers responded to a disturbance complaint at an apartment complex in the 5500-block of SW Country Club Dr. It was determined a male and female were arguing, and the male was refusing to leave. He was gone before officers arrived, and it was learned there was an active no-contact order in place between the two parties. This case is still under investigation.

August 3rd

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 300-block of SW B Ave when he contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Warrant Arrest / Disorderly Conduct- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of NW 4th St for a report of a subject banging on an ATM and yelling. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address. During the contact, officers learned the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to the Corvallis Municipal Court where he was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and brought before a judge for the multiple warrants.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle- An officer conducted a traffic stop at SW 3rd St and SW Twin Oaks Cir on a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Polk County. The driver was identified as a 28-year-old female, Philomath resident. The female stated she purchased the vehicle in November of 2025 and had a partially completed Bill of Sale with the registered owner’s name written on it. The female had insurance on the vehicle and a temporary tag from DMV that expired in June of 2026 that came back to the vehicle. The vehicle was not reported as stolen until July 2026. The female said she purchased the vehicle from an unknown individual at a farm in Philomath through “word of mouth.” The registered owner was contacted and confirmed he stored the vehicle on the farm in May of 2025, saw the vehicle driving on the freeway two weeks ago, and then reported it as stolen. The female was not charged with a crime, but the vehicle was seized.

Warrant Arrest- A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted near SW 2nd St and SW Western Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was transported to the jail.

Violation of an Order- Victim reported a subject for whom they had a restraining order against was violating the order by sending messages over a social media site. This case remains under investigation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Endangering / Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- A 26-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for DUII and other charges after being involved in a motor vehicle collision in which he struck a tree in Avery Park while driving on a path not designated for motor vehicles. A passenger reportedly exited the vehicle and was pushing it as it was stuck on a berm after striking the tree and may or may not have been hit by the vehicle while trying to free it. The passenger was transported by private vehicle to the hospital by another person, with the suspect accompanying the victim to the hospital before returning to the scene, when he finally called the police.

August 2nd

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of NW 1st St for a report of a subject yelling and throwing items. The caller requested the subject be trespassed from the business. Officers contacted the 53-year-old male, no fixed address, and trespassed him from the business.

Bicycle Theft- Victim reported theft of a bike from an apartment complex in the 900-block of SW Washington Ave. The bike was later recovered at another location.

Warrant Arrest / Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 35-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on multiple warrants, as well as being out of compliance with his sex offender registry after being contacted in the 900-block of NW Hayes Ave. The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on numerous warrants out of various jurisdictions when stopped for a bicycle violation near SW 7th St and SW Western Blvd. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

August 1st

Trespass- An officer responded to a business in the 500-block of NW 25th St for a report of a trespass. The officer contacted a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been asked to leave multiple times but had refused. The male was arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was cited for Criminal Trespass II and released.

Trespass- An officer responded to an apartment complex in the 700-block of SW 7th St for a report of a trespass. The officer contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been asked to leave multiple times by staff but refused to do so. The male was cited for Trespass II and released.

Trespass- An officer responded to a residence in the 900-block of SE Richland Ave for a report of a trespass. It was seen on security cameras that a person was on the property who was not allowed to be there. Officers contacted the subject, a 28-year-old female, Lebanon resident, who was cited in lieu of custody for Trespass II.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was driving through the area of the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd when they contacted a suspicious subject. The 40-year-old male, no fixed address, had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- Officers initially took a report of a missing person. Caller reported her sister, a 48-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had been discharged from the hospital after a medical procedure and had not returned home. There was concern the female may be driving impaired as she had been administered pain medications from the hospital. Officers located the female in her vehicle in the 2600-block of NW 9th St. The female performed SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for a DUII. A subsequent search of her purse yielded user quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded multiple times to the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr for possible domestic disturbances involving loud yelling and disorderly conduct, some of which was occurring in the street outside the residence. The residents were issued a Special Response Notice. There was no probable cause for any other crimes.

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 51-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr after responding for an unrelated call for service. The male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 47-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 100-block of SW B Ave. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody for an active warrant.

Vehicle Tow- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 900-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. The driver did not have a valid license, nor insurance. The vehicle was parked blocking a lane of traffic, and was therefore towed as a traffic hazard.

Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1700-block of SW Avery Park Dr. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for an outstanding warrant.

Warrant Arrest- A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at NW 2nd St and NW Tyler Ave and found to have multiple outstanding warrants. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- An officer responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a theft. An unknown suspect stole merchandise and left.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 35-year-old male, no fixed address in the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl who had a warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the jail.

July 31st

Open Container / Disorderly Conduct- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance at a business in the 2100-block of NW 9th St. He was contacted by police, arrested for open container, and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation. Shortly after, the same male was causing another disturbance in the 100-block of SW 2nd St, again with an open container. The male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the jail.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, locked himself in the bathroom of a business in the 500-block of SW 3rd St and refused to leave when told to do so by staff. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation for Trespass II.

Theft- A cell phone was stolen from the 800-block of NW 9th St. The victim observed it moving through north Corvallis as he was actively monitoring its location. The victim was able to relay this information to police, who contacted a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in possession of the stolen phone. The male was cited for Theft II and the phone was recovered.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a 57-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 200-block of SW Adams Ave for a bike violation. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

Assault- Officers responded to the 1600-block of NW 13th St for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. It was determined a 74-year-old female, Corvallis resident, used a piece of driftwood to strike her husband repeatedly. The female was arrested for Assault II and Unlawful Use of a Weapon and transported to the jail.

July 30th

Assault / Disorderly Conduct / Warrant Arrest- A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, engaged in a physical altercation with others in the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was arrested for Assault IV, Harassment, and an unrelated warrant. The male was ultimately transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave after causing a disturbance and threatening to kill people. It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of SW 14th St for a report of a male digging through dumpsters, ranting about hurting people, and refusing to leave. The male was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and issued a criminal citation.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for an open line 911 call. Investigation determined this was an argument over services with a business, and a 53-year-old female, Philomath resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Warrant Arrest- A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a citation in lieu of custody for an outstanding warrant in the 400-block of NW 2nd St.

Warrant Arrest- A 51-year-old female, Eugene resident, was contacted in the 500-block of NW Jackson Ave. The female was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest, and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft / Disorderly Conduct / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a complaint of disorderly conduct. Store employees reported a male patron was inside the store yelling at staff and running around. The 41-year-old male, no fixed address, left a short time later and reportedly concealed stolen items in his backpack. Officers located the male behind the store, and he was immediately confrontational and refused to comply with commands. He was ultimately taken into custody, and the stolen items were recovered. While being searched in custody, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The male was ultimately transported to the jail.

July 29th

Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested on a felony warrant when contacted by officers in the 1000-block of SE Centerpointe Dr. The male was ultimately transported to the jail for the warrant.

Reckless Driving / Reckless Endangering / Criminal Mischief- After a follow-up investigation into a crash which occurred earlier in the month, a 24-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued a citation for Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, and Criminal Mischief.

Theft- Officers responded to a facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a theft of a book on tape.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 400-block of NW 2nd St for a traffic violation. The driver, a 50-year-old male, Portland resident, showed indicators of impairment and performed SFSTs. The driver was arrested for DUII.

July 28th

Criminal Mischief- A caller reported an unknown adult male threw a water bottle at his truck as he was driving near SW 3rd St and SW B Ave. The caller stated the male threw the bottle and the impact left a dent in his vehicle. Responding officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the area of NW Tayor Ave and NW 12th St for a request for a welfare check on a possible intoxicated adult stumbling around. Officers contacted a 44-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was the subject of active warrants. The male was cited in lieu of custody and transported home.

July 27th

Follow-Up- An officer responded to Pioneer Park for a report of a stolen scooter that was pinging in the area. The original theft was reported earlier. The officer located the stolen scooter, a second confirmed stolen scooter, and a third suspected to be stolen scooter. The officer also identified a person of interest in the thefts.

Assault- Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male who stated he was spit on and punched in the face. The victim advised he had confronted another male about riding his bicycle on the sidewalk when the suspect got upset and attacked him. Video surveillance is being reviewed by officers.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A vehicle was broken into in the 4700-block of SW Hollyhock Cir, which caused the door handle to break. Nothing appeared missing from the vehicle.

Shoplift- An officer responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a 55-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who stole bicycle accessories from a business. Staff at the store confronted the male and called police. The male was cited in lieu of custody for Theft III.

Package Theft- An officer responded to the 1200-block of NW Kline Pl for a report of a package theft.

Warrant Arrest- A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted in Pioneer Park.

July 26th

Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1100-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, returning to the business after previously being trespassed. He was told to leave the business by employees and was refusing to do so. The male was contacted, taken into custody, and lodged at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 400-block of SW B Ave for a traffic violation. The officer contacted a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, who had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- Victim reported a bicycle stolen from a residence in the 2500-block of SW Leonard St. No suspect information available.

Warrant Arrest- A 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted on a noise complaint in the 800-block of NW Chipmunk Pl.

July 25th

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass II after he was located in a City park in the 1600-block of NW 29th St. The male had been previously trespassed from all City parks, and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- A 49-year-old female, Newport resident, was refusing to leave a hotel room in the 400-block of SW 1st St. The female was ultimately arrested for Trespass II and outstanding warrants and transported to jail.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of stolen currency. The caller’s wallet had been left at the business and was later recovered by staff with a large amount of currency missing from within.

Open Container- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of individuals in a parked vehicle drinking alcohol. A 39-year-old male, Hillsboro resident, was issued a criminal citation for Open Container.

Warrant Arrest- An officer performed a traffic stop on a cyclist in the 400-block of NW Kings Blvd. The 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for her arrested and was cited in lieu of custody.

Vehicle Tow- An officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle near Hwy 34 and Twin Maple Ln. The driver, a 21-year-old male, Albany resident, did not have a valid license or insurance, and the vehicle was a traffic hazard. The vehicle was towed and the driver was issued multiple citations.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near NW 4th St and NW Polk Ave. The driver had indicators of impairment and performed SFSTs. The driver, a 31-year-old male, Independence resident, was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Two officers were on bike patrol in the area of Michael’s Landing when they were approached by a 27-year-old female, no fixed address, who asked for a lighter. The female had a meth pipe in her hand as she did this, and also had warrants for her arrest. She tried to throw the meth pipe and a small baggie of meth on the ground when she realized she was talking to police officers. She was ultimately cited on her warrants and PCS-Methamphetamine.

Hit and Run / Assist Other Agency- BCSO stopped a vehicle near SW 3rd St and SW Tunison Ave. The vehicle had significant damage to it and the driver was DUII. It was believed the vehicle struck another parked vehicle in the area. A CPD officer responded to assist and located the parked victim vehicle on NW Pickford St and took an Hit and Run report.

July 24th

Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a 41-year-old female, no fixed address, attempting to set up a camp on private property. The female was contacted and issued a trespass notice telling her not to return to the property.

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd for a report of a 27-year-old female, no fixed address, who was under the influence of stimulants, throwing objects and threatening to assault people. The officers investigated and determined the female threw a screwdriver at a male’s head, but missed. The female was transported to the Day Time Drop-In Center and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Fraud- A person reported they attempted to rent an apartment in the 800-block of NW 27th St and were communicating with a suspect online. The person sent money for the apartment via an online application and the suspect kept asking for more money, leading the victim to believe it was a scam. The suspect is unknown.

Theft- Officers contacted a caller in the 4800-block of NW Lavender Cir who reported they had contracted with an online company and given a check to an “employee” who arrived at her door for work to be done. The check was cashed, no work has been done, and the caller has not been contacted by the company.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of an e-scooter that was stolen approximately one week ago.

Theft- Officers responded to a residence in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd for a report of a stolen package.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 40-year-old female, no fixed address, near the intersection of SW Allen Ave and SW Avery Dr who was the subject of active warrants. She was ultimately issued criminal citations and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1100-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of active warrants. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- An officer attempted to stop two bicyclists near NW 9th St and NW Buchanan Ave for a traffic violation. Both cyclists fled and were last seen near a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. Another officer located the males hiding in a fenced-in natural area just east of the business. A 58-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a warrant and for trespassing. The second male fled on foot and was not located. The male who was taken into custody was transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 2300-block of NW Grant Ave for a report of a fight. Multiple callers reported hearing a fight and yelling in the area. Officers arrived and located a 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, with injuries. He was not forthcoming with information. Multiple witnesses were contacted, and no one actually observed the fight, only heard it. They did observe the male, and a female, in the street nearby yelling. The male was issued citations for Disorderly Conduct and was transported to the hospital by medics due to his injuries.

Found Dog- An officer took a puppy to the Humane Society after a citizen located it in the 1300-block of SE Goodnight Ave.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, on the railroad tracks in the 800-block of NE Circle Blvd. The female had multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest and was taken to the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 900-block of NW Jackson Ave after seeing it leave a bar. The driver, a 43-year-old male, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUII.

July 23rd

Weapon Offense- A 31-year-old male, Corvallis resident, brandished a knife following an argument with another male in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave. The suspect was taken into custody for Menacing, Disorderly Conduct, and Unlawful Use of Weapon and ultimately transported to the jail.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 3200-block of NW Grant Ave as he was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 73-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 2000-block of SE Stone St as he was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 1700-block of NW Grant Cir as he was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a theft which had occurred approximately a month and a half ago. A suspect was identified as a 32-year-old male, Eugene resident.

Theft- Officers responded to a residence in the 3500-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a bicycle stolen earlier in the month. No suspect information.

Dog Bite- Officers responded to a residence in the 2400-block of NW Garryanna St for a report of a dog bite. The dog was designated a potentially dangerous animal.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW B Ave. The male had warrants for his arrest and was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 400-block of SW Jefferson Ave. The driver, a 37-year-old male, Yamhill resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 200-block of NW Tyler Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Attempted Criminal Mischief / Interfering with a Peace Officer- An officer was on SW 4th St when he observed debris in the roadway. The officer followed a trail of debris to the 200-block of NW Monroe Ave where he observed a male lying under a parked vehicle, tampering with the underside of the vehicle. The officer attempted to contact the male under reasonable suspicion of multiple crimes, but the male fled on foot. He was apprehended a short distance away. The owner of the truck was contacted and the suspect was not known to him. There was evidence under the vehicle that the male had been tampering with the drive train of the parked truck, but there was no observable damage. The male was taken to the jail for Attempted Criminal Mischief and Interfering with a Peace Officer.

July 22nd

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, turned himself in on a warrant for his arrest at the Law Enforcement Center. The male was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on a warrant. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted outside the Law Enforcement Center. The female had warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Violent Conduct- Caller reported a female was causing a disturbance at a community living facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave. The 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was asked to leave the facility.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW Van Buren Ave. The male had multiple outstanding warrants and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the jail.

July 21st

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 2100-block of NW Taylor Ave for a report of an argument. The caller reported her neighbor, a 47-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came into her residence looking for his phone. The male told officers he last saw his phone at the caller’s residence when he was charging it, and believed she still had it. The caller allowed officers to search her residence, and the phone was not located. The caller wanted the male trespassed from her residence, so he was issued a trespass notice.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment- Officers responded to a residence in the 3400-block of NE Lancaster St for a report of a domestic dispute between an adult male and his adult son. The argument began due to the son’s level of intoxication and frequency of drinking alcohol. Both the father and son admitted to pushing each other during the argument. Neither party sustained any injury during the incident, and the son agreed to stay somewhere else for the night.

Trespass- Caller reported a female was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave their business in the 200-block of NW 2nd St. The suspect was identified as a 51-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The female was issued a trespass notice at the caller’s request, and she left the business.
