The Home, Opportunity, Planning, and Equity (HOPE) Board is a joint advisory board to the City of Corvallis and Benton County working on policies to address homelessness. The move comes two weeks after Benton County entered the "High Risk" category under Governor Kate Brown's reopening guidelines.

Water wings, swim rings, inflatable toys and other items designed for water recreation are not substitutes for U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets or adult supervision. For those with little or no swimming skill, a fall off or out of one of these devices could lead to a drowning situation. Additionally, the materials used for these devices deteriorate in sun and rough pool surfaces, leading to deflation and leaks.
