January 17, 2024 - The City of Corvallis has suspended normal operations for Wednesday, January 17, 2024, due to persistent hazardous conditions on area roadways. Additional precipitation overnight did not improve the amount of ice and snow on area roadways. All City facilities will be closed on January 17, and all scheduled events and programs are canceled.
The Civic Beautification and Urban Forestry Department Advisory Committee Meeting will be held 9 am at the Corvallis Parks and Recreation Administration Building.
The due process hearing to consider the possible violation of the City Charter by Councilor Charlyn Ellis, which had been scheduled to take place at the January 16, 2024 City Council meeting, has been rescheduled to the February 5 Council meeting. The schedule change was requested by Councilor Ellis’ legal counsel.
