The Corvallis Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of the application process for reaccreditation which verifies that we continue meeting all applicable professional law enforcement standards.
Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the reaccreditation process requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
