City Services During "Extreme Risk" Periods

COVID-19 Latest Closures and Cancellations

December 18, 2020 - The City of Corvallis is adjusting services effective today to comply with Benton County's "extreme risk" designation by Governor Kate Brown, intended to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon. The following changes take effect on Friday, December 18.

  • All City offices, facilities, lobbies, and customer service areas will be closed to the public. Most services will remain available via phone or online at www.corvallisoregon.gov.
  • The three community centers operated by the Parks and Recreation Department (Osborn Aquatic Center, Majestic Theatre, and C3 – Corvallis Community Center) will be closed, though some virtual programming may be available. More information is available online at www.corvallisoregon.gov/pr.
  • The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library will offer contactless pickup service at the Main Library and all branch libraries during the freeze. The Library will continue its popular delivery service as well. Walk up and computer appointment services will be discontinued during the freeze.  Visit www.cbcpubliclibrary.net for more information.
  • Although the Finance Department payment counter will be closed, customers can still make a payment online at www.corvallisoregon.gov/billing or over the phone at 541-766-6949.
  • Municipal Court will continue to hold scheduled arraignments and court dates.

This list is not comprehensive and may be adjusted further as necessary. These measures are intended to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, which has surged in recent weeks despite ongoing mitigation efforts.
