Rental Housing

Rental properties are required to be registered with the City of Corvallis and subject to an annual rental housing fee. The fee increases by $1 every odd year. In 2025, the fee will increase to $17 per unit. The rental housing fee offsets costs associated with efforts to:

• Help community members navigate basic rental information and questions
• Educate on fair housing regulations and periodically conduct testing for potential violations of the Fair Housing Act.
• Collect data to better understand local rental housing trends for community planning and education efforts
