Before you apply for Paratransit service, consider giving the buses a try. Many people with disabilities are able to ride the fixed-route bus.  In fact, in a 2013 rider survey, 25% of CTS riders reported they have a disability.

All Corvallis Transit System (CTS) buses are equipped with ramps or lifts, can lower to curb height, and have reader board and verbally announced stops.

CTS also offers free travel training to persons who just need a little coaching in order to use the CTS fixed-route system. If you would like travel training, please contact the Transit Coordinator.

The CTS ADA paratransit service was established per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide curb-to-curb transportation for those persons who are not able to use the regular, fixed-route bus service due to a disability. CTS contracts with BAT Lift to provide this service.

To be able to use paratransit service via the City program, a person must complete an ADA paratransit application and be determined eligible under federal regulations.
