September 3, 2025 Update

Earlier this week, Corvallis City Manager Mark Shepard and Corvallis School District Superintendent Ryan Noss attended a meeting of the Benton County Board of Commissioners to share an update on the funding approach to repair the facility. They described the multi-agency funding package that has emerged since the Oregon Legislature awarded $4.1 million to Osborn for roof repairs, as well as opportunities for community fundraising.

A video from the Board of Commissioners meeting is available on the Benton County website. The Osborn Aquatic Center discussion begins at the 1:05:10 mark in the video.

Mark and Ryan's presentation materials are available to view as well.

We are continuing to plan for a community information meeting to share the results of the recent facilities assessment of Osborn Aquatic Center and gather input on priorities for repairs and improvements.

Date: Monday, September 22, 2025
Time: 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Location: Linus Pauling Middle School

This meeting will provide an overview of the assessment findings and an opportunity to discuss next steps moving forward. Please mark your calendars, and we hope you will join us.
