Community Development serves as a central hub where residents, businesses, and partners can explore how the city grows and evolves. This page brings together a curated collection of tools and resources—ranging from permitting history and land use cases to interactive maps and current development activity—so community members can easily find the information they need. It’s designed to offer clarity, transparency, and a deeper understanding of how planning and development shape the Corvallis we all share.
The City of Corvallis has 500 employees in ten City departments who work to support our community’s values in livability, public safety, sustainability, infrastructure, and economic vitality. Human Resources is dedicated to recruiting, developing, and supporting an exceptional workforce who have a direct impact on our city.
Diversity is a core value of the City of Corvallis. Imagine Corvallis 2040, the newly adopted community vision, describes an ongoing goal of promoting "education, communication, and enhanced understanding of cultural differences, welcoming and empowering people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities."
