Fun Facts About the Otter Beach Pools:
The Water Channel was the first of its kind in the state of Oregon.
The water slide is the second longest slide at a public swimming pool in the state (estimated at an approximate ride of 12 seconds).
Both pools are made by Myrtha, which is based in Italy. The walls for each pool were manufactured there and shipped to Oregon.
Volunteer firefighters are an integral part of the Corvallis Fire Department. The Department maintains a roster of volunteers who augment the ranks of the career personnel and assist with fire suppression, rescue services, emergency medical care, and fire prevention.
