Press Release Update: Stabbing at the Skate Park

On March 22nd, 2023, at approximately 3:05am, Officers from the Corvallis Police Department responded to the area of the Skate Park, 190 SW B Ave, for a report of a stabbing. A 41-year-old male, with no fixed address, was located with multiple life threatening stab wounds and transported via ambulance to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries. Detectives from the Corvallis Police Department were called in and the investigation is still ongoing.

Corvallis Police Investigate Burglary on NW Canterbury Circle

On Friday, March 24, 2023 at approximately 0753 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of NE Canterbury Circle for the report of a 39-year-old male, Corvallis Resident, who was violating a release agreement after being released from jail. The 39-year-old male, William Leonard, broke into the residence and menaced a former roommate who was the property owner. The property owner fled the area and called police. Officers tried to talk Leonard out of the residence but he refused. Leonard resisted arrest when the Officers attempted to take him into custody.
