The Economic Development Coalition (EDC) meeting will be held virtually and in-person at the City of Corvallis Council Chambers (Downtown Fire Station) at 4:00 p.m.

Under an Oregon state law (HB 4006) passed in 2018, communities like Corvallis that have high percentages of households with “severe rent burdens” – meaning that those households are paying more than 50% of their income for their costs to rent a home – must hold a public meeting each year. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and receive feedback from the community about four topics:

Over the last four years, the program has provided financial assistance to 849 income-eligible households.
