Historic Preservation Permits

News - Application Fees and Forms for Historic Preservation Permits - EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026

On June 1, 2026, City Council adopted an updated fee schedule for land use applications, including new fees applicable to Historic Preservation Permits. Updated fees will go into effect and apply to applications received on or after July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. See Application Fees section below for more information.

 

Historic Preservation Plan

The City of Corvallis, along with consultant Winter & Company, is pleased to present the draft of the City of Corvallis Historic Preservation Plan. The City of Corvallis boasts an extraordinary richness of cultural resources that represent the span of the city’s history and pre-history. Over the past 30 years, the city, in partnerships with other groups such as Oregon State University, and individuals, has established historic districts, designated individual resources and promoted heritage-focused community events.

The City of Corvallis is committed to helping serve the most vulnerable populations in our community with the allocation of the Social Services Grant Fund. Every year, these funds make immeasurable differences in the lives of families and individuals who are experiencing houselessness, are at risk of houselessness, or are extremely low to low income households.
