Development Services Permits

Development Services (DS) processes construction permits and certain land use cases. We also issue permits for floodplain development, business signs, driveway approaches and sidewalks, mobile food units, and more. See the links at the bottom of this page for additional permits processed by DS. Do I Need a Permit?

Oregon law requires you to obtain permits for a range of installations, alterations, and construction to ensure the work meets minimum standards for safe construction.  We recommend reaching out to us if you are unsure whether your project requires a permit.
