Park Maintenance Facility Groundbreaking Ceremony

A groundbreaking ceremony for the City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation Department's new $25 million Park Maintenance Facility will take place at 2 p.m. June 18 on the southeast side of Avery Park. The new park maintenance facility has been in the works for more than two years. The new building will modernize the space used by Parks & Rec staff to carry out park maintenance, landscaping, pruning, forestry, construction, and other activities.
Members of the public are invited to celebrate this milestone with Parks & Rec staff, City officials, and representatives from the project architect and general contractor.
The project was identified as one of the most urgent facility improvements in the 2022 Citywide Facilities Strategy.
