Riverfront Commemorative Park
It's Fountain Time!
Riverfront Fountain opens Friday, May 23.
Open 10am-7pm everyday during the summer!
The fountain will close for the season on Tuesday, September 2 (after Labor Day)
The fountain may occasionally be down due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case updates will be provided on social media, the website, and through posted signs.
No dogs, skateboards, roller blades, or bicycles in the fountain.

Riverfront Park was dedicated in 1994 and contains almost 12 acres elongated along the Willamette River. Owing to the site’s size and prominence, many local markets, festivals, walking/running events, and community activities utilize Riverfront Park. It is bordered to the north by the Aquathusist boat ramp and to the south by Shawala Point, which is at the confluence of the Willamette River and Mary’s River. In between are many special features including:
- Spray Fountain - Filtered pool water / Open during summer months
- Three public plazas available for event reservation
- Eric Scott McKinley Skate Park
- Extensive landscaping with an emphasis on native plants
- Willamette River overlook areas
- Dog off-leash park, fenced
- Artistic park sculptures & interpretive signs
- Restrooms, bike racks, and benches
- And a 12 foot wide multi-modal path forming the east end of the Corvallis-Philomath pathway
The north (Aquathusist) section of Riverfront Park is an undeveloped area with easy access to the Willamette River. The area is used by the public for recreation including launching non-motorized water craft such as kayaks and canoes along with and water-related passive recreation. Approximately two acres of the park is owned by the City of Corvallis; the remaining acreage is owned by Oregon Department of Transportation.
