Music & Movement for Babies and Kids

Taught by a licensed music teacher, this fun and active music experience will help your child discover the joys and benefits of music through folk songs, finger plays, nursery rhymes, movement and dance. It also aids in language development through song. Come join a fun, nurturing community while bonding with your child. Parents/guardians required to actively participate. Ages 6 and under.

Zumbini

We will be singing, dancing/moving, clapping, using instruments (drums, bells, sticks, egg shakers, scarves, or creative alternatives) and we'll get a digital access code to practice/repeat the kid-friendly world rhythms and sing-along music from class at home through the Zumbini app.

Advanced Beginning Tap

Students will learn more advanced tap techniques using simple repetitive rhythms to a variety of music with emphasis on timing, coordination and balance. Students should wear comfortable clothing such as tee shirts, shorts, sweats, or leggings. Some loaner shoes are available. Learn to Draw Workshop

Learn the basic skills needed to see and draw realistically. Students will explore the shapes of animals, landscapes, and objects around us. It is intended for people who have little or no experience drawing so there is no need to be nervous. All materials will be provided. Ages 7 - 13.

Children's Safety Clinic

Learn safety skills, including awareness, conflict avoidance and age-appropriate self-defense. Clinic includes discussion and hands-on practice with the instructor. Parents are invited to stay and participate if they like. Pre-registration required. Ages 5 - 11.

American Kenpo Karate

American Kenpo is a self-defense based martial arts system with a focus on character development. Training develops a strong foundation of basics as well as an understanding and ability to apply self-defense techniques. Training includes exploring the martial arts mindset, fitness, flexibility, bag work and partner work.

Shao-Lin Kempo/Kung Fu

Develops fitness and improves your health in addition to teaching cooperation and developing self confidence. This is a full and complete system of martial arts, self-defense and anti-bullying, therefore preparing the child for most situations where a confrontation might arise. Ki-Aikido

Ki-Aikido gives a foundation for a lifetime of positive growth. While children's bodies grow, so do their minds. It is natural to develop them together. This class teaches how to unify minds and bodies through fun activities, while learning a martial art. As they grow, they learn to apply this to all activities, including school, play, sports, and relationships.
