The Civic Beautification and Urban Forestry Department Advisory Committee (CBUF) was created to advise Parks and Recreation staff on matters relating to the beautification and preservation of City-owned lands and in the community at large.

Evaluation Criteria
Project is in public right-of-way or a public area / Project is an asset to the community / Project proposal application includes the written approval of the owner of the property / Plant selection is appropriate / Plant sustainability is considered / Site is appropriate for project / There is potential for success / There is an established maintenance plan / Budget is appropriate for project / Low herbicide and fertilization requirements are met / Water conservation is considered
