July 1st

Trespass / Warrant Arrest / Possession of Stolen Property- A caller from the parks department reported a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassed from all parks for life was in Central Park near the art center. The male was located and found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was also found to be in possession of a stolen bicycle. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the various offenses.

Trespass- A caller reported her adult son broke into her apartment. However, upon investigation it was learned she was allowing him to live at the residence in violation of her lease. No crimes.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of a trespass. Caller reported he asked a male and female behind the dumpster on the business premises to leave and they refused. A 33-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted on the property and issued a citation in lieu of custody for Trespass II.

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 300-block of SW Washington Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest, was taken into custody, and transported to the jail.

Telephonic Harassment- Caller reported his former friend, a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had been repeatedly calling him and harassing him from multiple phone numbers. The male was contacted by the officer and told to stop having any communication with the caller, and they both agreed to stop having contact.

Warrant Arrest- A 68-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at the Skate Park. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Possession of Restricted Weapon by Felon- An officer recognized a 42-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of NW 9th St whom he knew to have active arrest warrants. The male was taken into custody on various warrants. The suspect also possessed criminal amounts of methamphetamine and was in possession of two restricted knives. He was booked at the jail.

June 30th

Burglary- An unidentified suspect entered an open garage in the 2900-block of NW Van Buren Ave and stole an electric bicycle. The bicycle serial number was entered into LEDS/NCIC as stolen.

Fraud- A caller reported they got a message purporting to be from Apple. The caller replied and gave the scammer access to his computer. The scammer subsequently stole $8,000 from the victim.

Shoplift- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, stole tools valued at over $100 from a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The suspect was located and issued a citation in lieu of custody. The stolen property was located and returned to the business.

Traffic Crash / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a report of a traffic crash in the 6000-block of SW Philomath Blvd. One of the drivers was found to have a suspended license, no insurance, and she was driving carelessly, which led to the crash. Additionally, the 34-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft- A caller reported he had a package stolen from his residence in the 1100-block of NW 28th St. There is no suspect information at this time.

Theft- A 26-year-old male, no fixed address, order over $30 worth of food from a restaurant in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The male did not have money to pay for it but was willing to provide an “I.O.U.” The business wanted the male trespassed from the property. The male was issued a trespass notice and moved along.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A caller reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in the 2800-block of NW Tyler Ave. The caller’s wallet, drivers license, debit card, and lunch box were stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.

June 29th

Suspicious Activity / Warrant Arrest- A caller reported a male potentially trying to steal a bike. It was learned the male was working on the bike, not trying to steal it. However, the 39-year-old male, no fixed address, had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for criminal trespass after going to a business where he had been previously trespassed from in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd.

Fraud- Victim reported she received a call from someone who identified themselves as a deputy sheriff and indicated their co-worker was arrested and they needed to post bail through a third party. Victim took an undisclosed amount of money from her business to pay the “bail,” then realized she had been scammed.

Disorderly Conduct / Criminal Trespass- A 20-year-old female, Lebanon resident, and 25-year-old female, Lebanon resident, were each cited for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass after loudly causing a disturbance in the 200-block of SW Wake Robin Ave, causing numerous people to point them out once officers arrived on scene. The 20-year-old was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with a citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- The 25-year-old female, Lebanon resident, from the previous call for service decided it was a good idea to drive to the Law Enforcement Center to get the 20-year-old female who was transported, but did so intoxicated and was promptly arrested for DUII.

June 28th

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a subject discharged from the hospital now refusing to leave the property. The officer arrived at the hospital and contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, still in his room. The male also had multiple warrants for his arrest. The officer arrested the male, removed him from the area, and released him with citations.

Assault III / Disorderly Conduct II- An uninvolved caller reported a fight in the 900-block of Spruce Ave. Officers responded to the scene as the caller reported two males were attacking a third. The caller stated the victim was on the ground and injured, and the two attackers were running from the area. Officers arrived in the area, located the victim, and began searching for the suspects. Another responding officer located the two suspects running north on NW Highland Ave, approaching NW Walnut Blvd and stopped them. Investigation revealed the two suspects, a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and a 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, approached the victim and began yelling at him and arguing. The victim began yelling back and was then attacked by the two males, causing him an injury to the face and another to his hand before the suspects fled the area. The two suspects were arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- While investigating a previous call for service, officers learned the 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations for the warrants and booked into jail on the charges from the other case.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Hit and Run / Aggravated Harassment- Officers responded to the area of NW 29th St and NW Grant Ave for a report of a vehicle seen traveling westbound on NW Grant Ave with sparks coming from it. Officers located a tire near the intersection along with other evidence a crash had occurred. Officers located skid marks which they followed to a residence where a vehicle was located without a passenger side tire. The tire located on scene matched the other three tires of the vehicle. AN intoxicated 48-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was detained on scene.

Violent Conduct- Officers responded to a fight at a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. Investigation determined a 27-year-old male, Arizona resident, punched another person in the face, which knocked the victim to the ground. The male was issued a criminal citation for Violent Conduct.  

June 27th

Open Container- Officers were dispatched to the 1000-block of NW Monroe Ave for the report of a group of women who were trashing the area and setting up camp. Officers located a 63-year-old female, a 54-year-old female, and a 45-year-old female, all no fixed address, at the location. They were all openly drinking alcohol in public. They were cited in lieu of custody for open container and given an SRN.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of NW 1st St when they contacted a 48-year-old female and 36-year-old male, both no fixed address, who were trespassing in the park. Both also had warrants for their arrest. They were taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released with citations.

Arson- Officers were dispatched to the 4500-block of SW Country Club Dr for the report of a cold arson. Officers discovered someone set fire to some toilet paper and other items which caused damage to the toilet seat. No suspect information.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The male had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW Madison Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was cited in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St to report a subject on the premises, smoking marijuana and refusing to leave when asked to do so. Officers responded to the location and found a 43-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property who immediately began to leave. The male was told he was trespassed from the property and left the area.

June 26th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 44-year-old male and 38-year-old female, both no fixed address, in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr. Both individuals had multiple warrants for their arrests and were taken into custody. The female was cited at the scene and released. The male was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 46-year-old female, Corvallis resident, called to report a vehicle she bought the day prior was stolen in the 2200-block of SW 3rd St. Officers discovered the incident was a civil issue and the caller had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and later released with a citation for the warrant.

Open Container- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for the report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who was drinking alcohol in public. She was taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released with a citation.

Criminal Trespass- An employee at the Corvallis Public Library called to report a subject who was verbally aggressive on the property. The officer responded and located a 36-year-old female, no fixed address, still on the property. The female was issued a trespass notice from the property and left the area.

Theft II- Officers were dispatched to the 1400-block of NW 9th St for a report of a subject whose credit card was refused, now yelling at the attendants and refusing to pay. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 29-year-old female, Albany resident, who was the one yelling. The officers learned the female and her boyfriend, a 40-year-old male, Corvallis resident, arrived at the station to get $20 of gas. The boyfriend then pumped $80 of gas, and the two were unable to pay for it. They were issued a citation for Theft II and released.

Warrant Arrest- While investigating a previous call, responding officers learned a 29-year-old female, Albany resident, and 40-year-old male, Corvallis resident, both had warrants for their arrests. They were issued citations and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Beca Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was issued criminal citations and released.

June 25th

Open Container- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Madison Ave for the report of a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, who was drinking a 40-ounce beer in public. She was taken into custody and later released with a citation for open container.

Burglary- Officers were dispatched to a burglary which had just occurred in the 200-block of NW 12th St. Officers arrived in the area and were able to apprehend the suspects, a 31-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and a 57-year-old male, no fixed address. Both were taken into custody for burglary and theft. The female was released with citations and the male was transported to the jail.

Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 3000-block of SE 3rd St for the report of an employee who was pocketing money. The business had camera footage of the employee taking money out of the till. The suspect, a 26-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody and later released with a citation for theft.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of SW B Ave when they contacted a 48-year-old male, no fixed address, who was smoking methamphetamine in the park. Officers also discovered the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Open Container- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for the report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property, causing a disturbance, and drinking alcohol. She was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Burglary- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave for the report of a home invasion burglary in progress. Officers discovered a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, had gained entry into the locked apartment building. She knocked on a resident’s door and when the resident answered, she pushed her down and entered the apartment. She then refused to leave the apartment. The victim was able to leave the residence and call police. When officers arrived, the suspect was hiding under a blanket. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Criminal Trespass- An employee in the 1100-block of NW 9th St called to report a subject inside the business and refusing to leave without seeing the owner. The caller reported the subject had been there for hours, and the owner was not going to meet or talk with them. Officers contacted a 26-year-old male, Salem resident, inside the building. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the property.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) / Warrant Arrest- An officer observed a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, smoking fentanyl in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave. The male was stopped and detained, and officers learned he had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations and released.

Littering- Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave for a subject throwing things in the roadway. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who was throwing items into the roadway. The male was issued a citation for littering and moved along.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW Wake Robin Ave for a noise complaint at an apartment complex. An SRN was issued to the tenant.

June 24th

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance outside a business in the 1900-block of NW 9th St. He was contacted by officers and issued a trespass notice.

Violent Conduct- Multiple callers reported a male and female were fighting in the 5000-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The couple, a husband and wife, were located on a CTS transit bus. After interviewing them and the several 9-1-1 callers, it was determined no assault had occurred, but based on the disturbance they were both issued citations for violent conduct.

Identity Theft- Caller reported he was notified by his aunt that a Wells Fargo credit card in his name was sent to her residence. Caller was able to get in contact with the bank and inform them the account was fraudulent and the account was closed. No suspect information at this time.

Theft- An officer responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a shoplifter in custody with loss prevention officers. The suspect was identified as a 55-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had been trespassed from the business for previous thefts. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft III and Criminal Trespass I.

Disorderly Conduct- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was yelling at vehicles in the parking lot of a business in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St and attempting to open vehicle doors as they drove past in the parking lot. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Trespass / Theft- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for trespass and theft after returning to a hotel in the 700-block of NE 2nd St from which she had been previously trespassed and stealing a bottle of laundry detergent.

June 23rd

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 23-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 1000-block of SW 3rd St. She was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for trespass after returning to a hotel in the 400-block of SW 1st St where she had already been trespassed from.

June 22nd

Theft- Caller reported they left their laptop at a residence a week ago. The location of the laptop was now showing at an apartment complex on NW Witham Hill Dr. The location data was over eight hours old, and the laptop was not found in the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 51-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old female, no fixed address, was stopped for a biking violation in the 600-block of NE 2nd St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 23-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on an active warrant and booked at the jail.

June 21st

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 30-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 500-block of NW 19th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass II- A caller in the 2800-block of SW Western Blvd called to report a subject trespassing on the property and setting up a camp. The caller stated there were no trespassing signs on the property, and the subject was told to leave and that he had been trespassing in the past. Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. The male was arrested and removed from the area. He was issued a citation for trespassing and released.

Theft II- A loss prevention employee in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd called to report a cold theft of more than $100 worth of merchandise on video. The officer was able to identify the suspect as a 71-year-old male, Corvallis resident.

Criminal Trespass- An employee in the 700-block of NE 2nd St called to report a subject in the building who they wanted trespassed. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, who immediately tried to leave the premises. The female was advised not to return and that if she did, she would be arrested for trespassing.

Shoplift- Officers responded to the 2600-block of NW 9th St for an unidentified suspect who stole a sandwich from a convenience store. The suspect was not located in the area and was unable to be identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 700-block of NE 2nd St for a report of a previously trespassed 44-year-old female, no fixed address, who had returned to the property. Upon officer arrival, the female fled the scene and was apprehended nearby. The female was taken to the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300-block of SW Madison Ave. During the stop, the officer detected signs of impairment in the 25-year-old female, Albany resident. The female was ultimately taken into custody for a DUII.

Special Response Notice / Chronic Nuisance Property- Officers responded to the 700-block of SW 7th St and observed unlawful amplified sound and loud noise coming from an apartment. The resident of the apartment was contacted and issued an SRN.

Shoplift- Officers responded to the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a reported shoplift. No suspect was found or identified.

June 20th

Theft- An unknown male went into a convenience store in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St and stole a beer.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were on patrol in the 900-block of NW Grant Ave when they saw a 23-year-old male, no fixed address, who was wanted in connection to a previous menacing and robbery. The male also had a parole board warrant. When officers went to make contact with the male, he fled on a bike but was quickly apprehended after a short pursuit. The male was transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to the 1000-block of SW 3rd St for a subject in the business trying to punch the manager. Officers contacted the described subject nearby and identified him as a 50-year-old male, Elmira resident. Witnesses inside the business reported the suspect appeared heavily intoxicated and was asking for a job. When the manager stated the business was not hiring, the suspect attempted to punch the manager. The male was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a moving violation. During the contact with the driver, a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, officers noted the driver appeared intoxicated. The driver performed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for a DUII. He was issued citations and released to a sober driver.

June 19th

Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400-block of NW Monroe Ave and learned the driver, a 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female was cited for the warrants and also issued a citation for Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor).

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 49-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 500-block of NW 23rd St after it was reported he was throwing items around and causing a disturbance. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. He also agreed to move along from the area.

Found Property- A bicycle and backpack were located unsecured and unattended for multiple hours in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave. The owner was identified, but unable to be contacted. The items were stored at the Law Enforcement Center for safekeeping.

June 18th

Failure to Carry/Present an Operator’s License- A 54-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1700-block of SW 3rd St. The female stated her license was suspended and did not have any identification in her possession. The female was positively identified and issued a citation for Failure to Carry/Present an Operator’s License, as well as multiple traffic violations.

Warrant Arrest- A 69-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 4100-block of SW Research Way. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Caller reported a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, was yelling at people at his business in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave. The caller only wanted the male trespassed from the business. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was contacted in the 4100-block of NW Pinecone Way. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3500-block of NE Lancaster St for a report of an argument. Officers contacted a male and female and determined no crime had been committed, but the female, a 40-year-old Corvallis resident, had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

June 17th

Burglary- An unidentified suspect unlawfully entered a garage in the 1800-block of NW Woodland Dr. The garage had been left open overnight. The suspect stole tools and two bicycles. The bicycles were entered into LEDS/NCIC as stolen and the 529 Garage App.

Theft- An unidentified suspect stole a bottle of liquor from a business in the 500-block of SW Washington Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1100-block of NW Monroe Ave. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Mail Theft- Caller reported she had not received her Social Security check and found that it was delivered in the mail to her residence in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd four days ago. The caller was unsure if the check had been cashed yet. No suspect information available.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment- An officer responded to a business in the 5000-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a customer who had assaulted an employee. The caller reported a male customer was unhappy with the service he was provided and began calling the employee names. During the incident, the male backhanded the employee, who was not injured. The officer reviewed security footage which corroborated the caller’s statement. The suspect was identified as a 73-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The suspect was contacted by the officer at his residence in the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr. The male admitted to calling the employee names but denied ever striking the employee. The officer confronted the male with the video which clearly showed the male striking the employee, and he continued to deny he hit the employee. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Harassment.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a residential facility in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of an argument. The caller reported a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was yelling at staff about his property being stolen in Albany and refusing to leave when asked to do so. The caller stated the male began punching a fence and “squared up” on staff and other individuals staying at the facility, acting like he was going to fight them. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 800-block of NW 9th St. The male had warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- Officers received a complaint of a truck with people in the bed driving around and damaging garbage cans in the 2100-block of NW 23rd St. The vehicle wasn’t located.

June 16th

Trespass- A caller reported a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male was located in the business where he had been previously trespassed. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A caller reported a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The male was located at the business where he had previously been trespassed and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Dissemination of Intimate Image- Caller reported he uploaded sexually explicit photos of himself to his Snapchat account. An unknown male was able to access the photos and threatened to send the photos to the caller’s family and friends if the caller didn’t send him money. The caller did not send money, and the male sent one of the photos to the caller’s sister. The male suspect was not identified, and the phone number he called from was disconnected when the officer attempted to call him.

Burglary- Caller reported his residence in the 2500-block of NW Taylor Ave was broken into sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. The caller’s bike was stolen from the garage, which was left open. There were no cameras in the area and no one witnessed the suspect.

June 15th

Shoplift / Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 67-year-old male, no fixed address, shoplifted two packs of cigarettes from a business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St. The male was located near the store and found to be in possession of the stolen property. He was also found to be an out-of-compliance sex offender. The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male and 21-year-old female, both no fixed address, were located sleeping in a park bathroom. Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest and were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- Victim reported unknown person(s) cut down a tree in front of their residence in the 1800-block of NW Beca Ave. The tree was located on city property between the sidewalk and roadway. No suspect information.

June 14th

Hit and Run- Officers were dispatched to an injury crash at the intersection of SW 8th St and SW Jefferson Ave. It was reported the other vehicle involved left the scene. The victim had minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital. Officers were unable to locate the suspected vehicle.

Assault II / Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Officers were dispatched to an assault in progress in the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody. The suspect, a 27-year-old male, no fixed address, was accosting a group of females in the park. A male came out of his tent nearby to see what all the yelling was about. When the victim asked the suspect to leave the group of women alone, the suspect took his metal water bottle and began to hit the victim over the head with it. The victim sustained some lacerations to his head as a result. The suspect was transported to the jail.

Trespass / Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr for the report of a 48-year-old female and 36-year-old male, both no fixed address, who were trespassing. When officers arrived both subjects fled on bikes. They were apprehended a few blocks away and placed into custody. The male was transported to the jail, and the female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was later released with a citation.

Reckless Driving- Officers were dispatched to a hit and run crash in the 600-block of NW Merrie Dr. Officers discovered a 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, became intoxicated the night before, got into his car, did donuts in his front lawn, and hit his friend’s car. He was arrested at the scene and released for reckless driving.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee in the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl called to report a subject in the store refusing to leave after being told to do so. The officer arrived at the business as the subject was leaving the store. The officer told the 20-year-old male, Baker City resident, that he was trespassed from the business. The officer completed the trespass notice and the subject left the area.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on an unrelated call for service in the area of NE Lancaster St and NE Oxford St when he contacted a subject with an active state warrant. The subject, a 46-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was arrested and booked into jail.

Vehicle Crash / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Criminal Mischief- Officers were dispatched to an injury crash in the 1900-block of NW Grant Ave. As officers were heading to the crash, Dispatchers reported a vehicle had driven into an apartment building. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the driver, a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had climbed out of the vehicle and building. Officers and responding firefighters were able to determine no one was home in the apartment and no one was injured. The driver was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the Van Buren bridge for a report of a male who was on the outside of the railing of the bridge. A 60-year-old male, California resident, was located but was not over the fenced area of the bridge. He was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 11th St. The driver was identified as a 25-year-old male, Arizona resident. He was arrested for a DUII and transported to the hospital.

Burglary- A community member flagged down an officer to report an unsecured commercial property in the 1100-block of NW Van Buren Ave. Officers cleared the property and located a male who was sleeping inside. Investigation determined the male inside was an employee who was permitted to be on the premises. He was asleep when the unlawful entry and theft had occurred, and was unaware until awoken by officers.

June 13th

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 2300-block of SW Pickford St for the report of suspicious activity. Officers contacted two males in the area who were seen going through vehicles. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, had warrants for his arrest and a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, also had warrants for his arrest. Both males were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Assault- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for the report of a male who was punched multiple times by an unknown male. Officers contacted the victim who was unable to provide a good description of the suspect. There were no witnesses to the incident. No suspect was located.

Disturbance- Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 59-year-old female, no fixed address, causing a disturbance in the bus shelter. The female was reported to be drinking alcohol, taking her clothing off, and falling into traffic. The female was contacted and taken into custody for drinking in public. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was later released with a citation.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for the report of a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property. Officers contacted the female nearby and placed her into custody. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was released with a citation.

Trespass / Theft / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to the area of SW Avery Park and SW Allen Dr for a report of individuals sitting on the railroad tracks who appeared to be tampering with railroad property. A 36-year-old male and a 48-year-old female, both no fixed address, were contacted and arrested for Trespass. The male was also charged with Theft II and PCS (Methamphetamine) stemming from investigation on scene.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St for a report of a subject who was asked to leave after loitering in the business and then became upset. A 26-year-old male, Salem resident, was contacted and issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St for a report of a female in the store who owed the business money. A 45-year-old female, Washington resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Traffic Crash- Officers responded to the area of NW 9th St and NW Garfield Ave for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash. Investigation on scene determined a male was hit by a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old male, Portland resident. The pedestrian was outside of a crosswalk at the time of the crash, and the driver was driving on a suspended drivers license and operating a vehicle without insurance. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later issued a traffic citation for Failure to Yield to a Vehicle. The driver was issued traffic citations for Driving While Suspended-Violation and Driving Uninsured.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) / Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1300-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was arrested without incident and transported to the jail.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1300-block of NW Dream Pl for a report of a male sword fighting the air with a stick. On arrival, officers contacted a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants. He was arrested and released with citations for his warrants and additional citations for PCS.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers performed a traffic stop in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 22-year-old male, Eugene resident, and was arrested for a DUII stemming from investigation on scene.

June 12th

Theft- Officers were dispatched to a cold burglary in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. An unknown suspect took over $4,000 worth of product from a beauty store.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Trespass- Officers contacted a 33-year-old male and 45-year-old female, both no fixed address, in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. Both were trespassing on railway property and were in possession of methamphetamine. They were each taken into custody and later released with citations.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of NW Tyler Ave for the report of a 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was trespassing on the property. The male left the area before officers arrived. He was located at his residence but refused to come out. Hours later, he was called in for staring at people and acting weird in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. He was taken into custody and released with citations.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on an unrelated call for service when they contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, trespassing in the 5200-block of SW West Hills Dr. The male was arrested and booked into the jail on a statewide felony warrant.

Special Response Notice / Unlawful Amplified Sound- A caller in the 300-block of NW 23rd St called to report a loud party. An officer responded to the address and found a very loud party with a live band. The officer contacted the responsible party, a 24-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who provided a sound permit. The sound permit was violated by the loud music and was revoked. The officer issued an SRN for unlawful amplified sound and the residents stopped the music.

June 11th

Attempted Assault on a Police Officer / Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 5300-block of SW Country Club Dr for the report of a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, threatening to break down the door if the teenage child who was home alone did not open the door. The male appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was making threats when the juvenile called the police. Officers located the male nearby and detained him in handcuffs as they investigated the incident. The male attempted to slip from his handcuffs. He then attempted to bite an officer and grabbed another officer’s fingers. He was taken into custody for multiple crimes and placed into a WRAP restraint device. He was transported to jail.

Warrant Arrest / Theft- Officers contacted a 22-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr. Officers had followed a GPS tracking that was pinging to that location inside of a stolen scooter. In addition to the theft, the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with citations.

Theft- Caller reported an unidentified suspect stole his license plates and replaced them with another set of plates. The stolen plates were entered into LEDS/NCIC.

Warrant Arrest- A 52-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NW 9th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at his residence in the 3300-block of NE Oxford Cir for a separate investigation. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The male had warrants for his arrest and had previously been trespassed from the business property. The male was taken into custody for his warrants and Criminal Trespass II and was transported to jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1000-block of NW 9th St. She had multiple warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Failure to Carry / Present- A 24-year-old male, Woodburn resident, was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW B Ave. The male stated his license was suspended and he didn’t have any identification on him. Dispatch was unable to locate the male’s driving status based on the information he provided. The male’s identification was ultimately located on him to positively identify him. He was issued traffic citations for Driving While Suspended-Violation, Speeding, and Driving Uninsured.

Theft- A 31-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St because an officer had probable cause to arrest her for a previous theft investigation. During the contact, it was discovered the female had just stolen multiple items from the business where she was contacted. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft II.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 48-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was arrested for a DUII after she ran a stoplight at NW 2nd St and NW Van Buren Ave in front of an officer and sideswiped the Van Buren Bridge railing as she crossed over the bridge before she stopped.

June 9th

Theft- Caller reported a 47-year-old female and 42-year-old male, both no fixed address, had stolen his truck and service dog for the past several days. The caller got his truck and dog back and the suspects left in their own vehicle with some of his tools. The male was later located in Albany with one of the tools with him and was arrested.

Trespass- Caller reported a 59-year-old male, no fixed address, had established a camp on private property belonging to a business in the 1900-block of NW 9th St. The male was issued a trespass notice and given time to pack up and move along.

Trespass- Caller from Corvallis Parks & Recreation reported a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing in Central Park. The male was located and it was confirmed he had been previously trespassed from all city parks. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a physical fight between a male and female. The male involved left prior to officer’s arrival, but the involved female was still on scene. The 45-year-old female, no fixed address, appeared to be intoxicated, yelling at officers and refusing to state what happened. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a vandalism which had just occurred. The caller reported her 29-year-old son, no fixed address, damaged multiple items belonging to her during an argument. The male was located in the area and taken into custody for Criminal Mischief II.

Argument- Officers responded to an apartment in the 800-block of NW 23rd St for an argument between roommates.

June 8th

Illegal Camping- A 56-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for illegal camping in Central Park. She was also issued a park trespass notice for 30 days.

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was found in a city park in violation of a previous trespass notice. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Open Container of Alcohol- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was consuming an open container of alcohol in the 100-block of SW 2nd St. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 2500-block of SW Coho St. He had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief (Follow Up)- An officer responded to the 500-block of SW Twin Oaks Cir for an unrelated call for service, during which time he conducted follow-up to a previous investigation. The officer developed probable cause to arrest a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, for two counts of Criminal Mischief II for damaging property.

June 7th

Disturbance- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of SW 3rd St for the report of a 71-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trying to get into a vehicle which did not belong to him and a closed business. Officers contacted the male nearby, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was later released with citations for attempted UEMV, Trespass, and PCS Methamphetamine.

Criminal Mischief- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for the report of slashed tires. No suspect information available.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 59-year-old female, no fixed address, refusing to leave the property. She was taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released with a citation for trespassing.

Theft- An unknown suspect stole wheels and wheelbarrows from the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl. No suspect information available.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on an unrelated call for service in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd when they observed a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, whom they knew had a warrant for her arrest. The officer contacted the female, arrested her, transported her to the Law Enforcement Center, issued her a citation, and released her.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 1900-block of NE Highway 99W when they contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers arrived at the location and contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, who claimed he was napping. The male had an active warrant. Package Theft- Officers responded to a residence in the 500-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a package theft which had occurred approximately 30 minutes prior to the time of call.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Unlawful Possession of Cocaine- Officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Jefferson Ave. The driver was identified as a 22-year-old male, Philomath resident, and was arrested for DUII and Possession of Cocaine.

June 6th

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle- The City of Albany called for assistance in tracking a stolen transit van that was being tracked to Corvallis. A 29-year-old male, Albany resident, was talking on the Albany transit radio in the vehicle and was located near the Law Enforcement Center in the stolen vehicle. He was arrested for UUMV and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave for the report of a male returning to a location where he had been previously trespassed. Officers contacted the 52-year-old male, no fixed address, and transported him to the jail.

Arson I- A 57-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave for Arson in the First Degree after starting a fire at a residence related to ongoing domestic issued with another individual.

Criminal Trespass- A caller in the 100-block of NW 10th St reported a subject on the property refusing to leave and claiming to be a messenger from God. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. He was removed from the area and issued a trespass notice for the property, per the caller’s request.

Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a subject on the property and refusing to leave when told to do so by employees. Officers arrived on scene and the subject, a 43-year-old male, no fixed address, left the property and was told he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned. The male then returned to the property while officers were still on scene. He was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Criminal Trespass I- Officers responded to a residence in the 2400-block of SW Pickford St for a report of a male inside the residence without permission. The 33-year-old male, no fixed address, refused to surrender to officers and forcible entry was made into the structure. The male blocked an entry hallway with a kitchen appliance and barricaded himself in a bathroom. Officers were able to speak to the male and he voluntarily exited the room and surrendered to officers. He was transported to the jail without incident.

June 5th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, for trespassing on private property in the 1500-block of Avery Park Dr. Officers learned the individual had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr to report a subject “dumpster diving” in the facility’s dumpster. The caller requested the subject, a 42-year-old female, no fixed address, be trespassed from the property.

Criminal Trespass II / Warrant Arrest- An employee called from the 200-block of NW 1st St to report a subject on the property who was previously told to leave. An officer arrived on scene and contacted the subject, who was still on the property. The subject was identified as a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who had active warrants for his arrest. He was removed from the property and issued citations for trespassing and the warrants.

Human Waste- A caller reported a subject urinating in the roadway in the 3100-block of NW Tyler Ave. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect, a 73-year-old male, Lebanon resident, who denied urinating in the roadway. The caller/witness wished to complete a citizen citation, and the investigation will be forwarded to the City Attorney for review and prosecution.

Robbery III / Possession of a Controlled Substance / Disorderly Conduct II / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, known to the caller who had stolen a chess piece from the caller after accusing the caller of cheating. The male had postured towards the caller to get the caller to fight him for the stolen chess piece before leaving the area. The male was also the subject of an active warrant. He was located later during the shift and arrested for the warrant, as well as the above-mentioned crimes, and lodged at the jail.

June 4th

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of SW 2nd St. A 45-year-old male, Philomath resident, called the police to report the business owners had told him to get off the property. The business employees then called to report a male trespassing and causing a disturbance. The male was arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody. The male was verbally aggressive with the business staff and officers.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1000-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a shoplift. Officers contacted the employee, who identified the suspect as a 57-year-old male, Bend resident. The employee said they did not want to pursue criminal charges but wished to have the male trespassed from the business. The male was provided a trespass notice and was released.

Theft II / Possession of a Controlled Substance- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a victim stating they located their stolen bike. Officers arrived on the scene and located the bike and two potential suspects. The investigation revealed a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, had stolen the bike when it was left outside a business. The male was arrested and found to have methamphetamine on his person. He was removed from the area and issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest / Shoplift III / Possession of a Controlled Substance- While investigating a different call for service in the 400-block of SW 3rd St, officers contacted a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, who had a warrant for her arrest. She was arrested, and during the search officers found methamphetamine and stolen items from the business she had exited. She was removed from the location, issued citations, and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of suspicious activity. The caller reported multiple people in one restroom and suspected they were using drugs. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who had warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3200-block of NE Lancaster St for a report of a vehicle blocking a portion of a side street. It was learned a 31-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was previously associated with the vehicle. He was contacted and arrested on active warrants. A family member was contacted to assist with the vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Tunison Ave for a report of a truck crashed into the caller’s vehicle and attempting to leave. Officers arrived and contacted the driver of the truck who was identified as a 41-year-old male, Albany resident. Subsequent to investigation on scene, the male was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and was later released on criminal citations.

June 3rd

Trespass- Caller reported two males working on a vehicle in a parking lot in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd. The caller was the property management company and wished for them to be trespassed. The males were issued a trespass notice.

Disturbance / Warrant Arrest- A 54-year-old female, no fixed address, was reported to be causing a disturbance near the downtown bridge construction. She was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was taken to the jail.

Fraud- Caller reported they were duped in a rental housing scam. They were out a $100 application fee.

Assist Other Agency- Officers responded to a report of a residential house fire in the 900-block of SW 11th St. The house was engulfed in flames, but the three residents were safely outside. One resident suffered burn injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Attempted Burglary- A caller reported seeing a suspect in his backyard via remote cameras. The suspect attempted to enter the residence through a window and was gone prior to police arrival.

Theft- An unidentified male stole a donation box with about $50 in cash from a business in the 600-block of SW 4th St.

Violent Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of a customer yelling at employees and chasing an employee’s husband after being denied service earlier in the day. A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and had an open container of alcohol when she was contacted. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Violent Conduct and Open Container.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to SW 1st St and SW Washington Ave for a report of a male and female sitting on a bench and groping each other. A 45-year-old female and 62-year-old male, both no fixed address, were identified as the individuals. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. He was ultimately issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 3rd St for a report of a female refusing to leave the business when asked to do so. A 31-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and had multiple warrants for her arrest. The female was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants and a trespass notice for the business.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the area of NW 1st St and NW Monroe Ave for a report of a female blocking traffic. A 54-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Assault- Officers responded to the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of an assault. A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, reported she was assaulted by a 58-year-old male, no fixed address. The female stated she was punched by the male and had a small mark on her face. The male was located, and he stated he was assaulted by the female and had marks on his face, chest, and hip. There were no independent witnesses and neither the male nor the female wished to pursue charges against the other.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1200-block of NW 10th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

June 2nd

Storing Property on Public Ways- A caller reported a 56-year-old female, no fixed address, camping in a vehicle in the 1200-block of NW 10th St. The female was storing her property on the street around her vehicle. She was cited for the violation.

Motor Vehicle Crash- Officers responded to a roll-over vehicle crash in the 5600-block of SW Philomath Blvd. A driver attempted a U-turn in the middle of the highway and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Burglary- An unidentified suspect burglarized a warehouse in the 600-block of NW Starker Ave. A motorcycle and pressure washer were stolen. The motorcycle was entered into LEDS/NCIC as stolen.

Assault- Caller reported witnessing a domestic dispute between a male and female at the Skate Park. Caller reported the male pushed the female to the ground and the female was bleeding from the forearm when she got up. The caller went back to her residence before reporting the incident. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate either the male or the female, and no other individuals at the park reported seeing any altercations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Fremont Ave for a report of a domestic dispute between a male and female. A 54-year-old male, and a 23-year-old female, both no fixed address, were contacted in the area. There was no crime related to the domestic dispute, but the female had multiple warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- While in the area of the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave, an officer contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail where he was lodged.

June 1st

Scoop Law / Hit and Run- A caller reported a male failed to pick up his dog’s poop. The caller followed the male in his vehicle. The male then reported the caller hit him with the vehicle, but he was not injured. There was not probable cause to make any arrests. Both parties were warned for their behavior, and the poop was picked up.

Trespass- An officer responded to the 1800-block of SW 3rd St for a 50-year-old male, no fixed address, who refused to move along. The male was trespassed from the location and moved along.
