September 7th

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was released from the hospital and was refusing to leave. The female had previously been trespassed from the property, and was also found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was cited in lieu of custody.

Vehicle Crash- Officers responded to SW 3rd St and SW Avery Ave for a multi-vehicle crash with five vehicles involved. The at-fault driver suffered a medical event which caused him to lose control and strike multiple other vehicles before coming to a stop. The driver was transported to the hospital by CFD for evaluation.

Intoxicated Subject- Officers responded to a memory care facility for a report of an employee who appeared to have overdosed. The employee was actually passed out in a bathroom due to alcohol intoxication. There were no crimes committed, but he was transported to the Law Enforcement Center to await a ride.

Trespass- Caller reported a male was acting oddly in a business in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St. The caller stated the male was touching everything in the store, bothering customers and refused to leave when asked. The male was identified as a 42-year-old male, Toledo resident, and was issued a trespass notice. The male then left the area.

Escape / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Trespass- A 42-year-old male, Toledo resident, was arrested on multiple charges and booked at the jail after he reportedly returned to a business where he had been previously trespassed from earlier in the evening in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St. When the officer arrived, the suspect fled on foot for a short distance before being taken into custody.

September 6th

Warrant Arrest / Violent Conduct / Offensive Littering- Officers were dispatched to the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd for the report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was waving a hatchet around at passing vehicles. Officers made contact with the male nearby and discovered he also had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations for his crimes.

Criminal Trespass- A passerby called to report a subject asleep on a bench area where they should not be. The passerby reported a Security Officer was with them in the 1000-block of NE Circle Blvd. An officer contacted the subject and identified them as a 34-year-old male, no fixed address, who was heavily intoxicated. The male was trespassed from the property and released to the Corvallis Fire Department medics for evaluation.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the library to request a subject be trespassed from the property after she refused to leave when asked to do so. Officers arrived at the library and located a 43-year-old female, no fixed address. She was trespassed from the property and released.

Special Response Notice (Unlawful Amplified Sound)- A repeated complainant called to report unreasonably loud music coming from the 500-block of SW 3rd St. The responding officer had previously warned the offending location of the complaint, the applicable violations, and possible mitigation techniques. The officer arrived at the location and found none of his previous advice had been enacted. The business was issued a Special Response Notice for Unlawful Amplified Sound and provided the same advice previously given on ways to avoid future violations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St for a report of an intoxicated male who was passed out by the dumpsters. The 48-year-old male, Eddyville resident, was the subject of active warrants and was arrested. He was transported to the hospital for a jail clearance and then to the jail where he was lodged.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW B Ave for a report of two individuals seen pushing a golf cart. Officers located the golf cart in a natural area on the southern side of Marys River and learned it belonged to Oregon State University. OSU Police responded and were able to verify it had been stolen from campus and took over the investigation.

September 5th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 4100-block of NW Pinecone Way for a report of two unresponsive people in a parked vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and a 41-year-old male, Lebanon resident, in the vehicle. Both occupants denied needing medical attention. During the contact, officers learned the female had an active warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation for the warrant.

Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon / Carrying Concealed Weapon / Warrant Arrest- While investigating the call for service in the 4100-block of NW Pinecone Way, officers learned the 41-year-old male, Lebanon resident, had a warrant for his arrest. He was detained and searched, and officers located brass knuckles concealed in his pocket. Officers also learned the male was a convicted felon. He was issued citations for the warrant, Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave to request a subject be trespassed from the property. An officer arrived in the area and located the 34-year-old female, no fixed address, whom the employee had asked to be trespassed from the property. The officer issued a trespass notice, and the female left the area.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers performed a traffic stop in the 100-block of SW 3rd St. The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for a DUII stemming from investigation on scene.

September 4th

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for the report of a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, who was setting up camp in the area. Officers contacted the male and discovered he had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations for the warrants.

Theft- A detective was inside a convenience store, located in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd, when a 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was inside stealing alcohol. The store gave the male an opportunity to put the property back, but he refused. He was placed into custody and transported to the jail for proper identification. He was later identified and issued a citation for the theft.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 2800-block of SW Western Blvd for the report of a 38-year-old male and 48-year-old female, both no fixed address, who were setting up camp in the area. The male had warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the school zone located in the 1600-block of SW 35th St. A vehicle was pulled over for speeding in the school zone. The driver, a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a suspended license and warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center before being released with traffic and criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1800-block of SW 3rd St. The male had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Animal Cruelty- A Community Services Officer (CSO) was dispatched to a dog in a hot vehicle in the 500-block of SW 2nd St. The caller reported the vehicle was parked more than an hour and half earlier, and the owner had not returned since. The CSO tried to locate the owner but was unable to do so in the area or by phone. The dog in the vehicle was panting heavily, and the interior of the vehicle was measured to be more than 96 degrees. An officer responded to the area and the owner returned. The officer cited the owner, a 58-year-old female, Albany resident, for Animal Cruelty and released them.

Public Indecency / Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the Corvallis Public Library and reported a nude male in the building. The caller then reported the male had dressed and left the location. Officers located the male nearby and identified him as a 40-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was arrested and issued a citation for the offenses.

Warrant Arrest- A passerby called to report a male rolling around on the ground surrounded by bleach bottles in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. An officer responded to the area and located a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who was uninjured. During the contact, the officer learned the male had multiple active warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested, removed from the area, issued citations for the warrants and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, New Mexico resident, in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd. During the contact, officers learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave for a report of an ex-boyfriend becoming aggressive during a move-out. Officers contacted a 28-year-old male, Albany resident, and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. The investigation determined no crime occurred related to the call for service, but the male was issued a citation for his warrant.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St and contacted a 30-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The female had a warrant for her arrest, was issued a citation, and released.

September 3rd

Trespass / Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A caller reported a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was sleeping in the flower bed of their business in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male had defecated nearby and had drug paraphernalia near where he was sleeping. The male was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and was found to be in possession of a residue amount of methamphetamine. He was issued citations in lieu of custody and left the area on foot.

Person Assist- Caller reported someone had kidnapped her husband. After investigation, officers were able to confirm the husband had been taken into custody by ICE.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 400-block of NW 3rd St. Officers arrived on scene and determined no crime occurred. A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted as part of the disturbance and trespassed from the property.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the area of SW 3rd St and SW Lilly Ave when he contacted a 28-year-old male, Albany resident. During the contact, the officer learned the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Theft II- An employee called from the 4100-block of SW Research Way to report a subject stealing the Oregon state flag from the property. Officers located the subject nearby and identified him as a 40-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was still in possession of the stolen flag. He was removed from the area, issued a citation for the theft, and released. The flag was recovered and returned to the business.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol when he contacted a 26-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area of SW 3rd St and SW Avery Ave. During the contact, the officer learned the male had several active warrants. He was issued citations for the warrants and released.

September 2nd

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to a vehicle crash involving a log truck and a Jeep near SW Philomath Blvd and SW Western Blvd. The log truck was struck by the Jeep, after the driver of the Jeep failed to stop at a stop sign. The impact caused the log truck to roll over. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Clean up caused the road to be closed for several hours.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was found to be in possession of a user amount of methamphetamine and was arrested.

Trespass- Officers responded to a community residence facility in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a male causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the property. A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation.

Theft- Caller reported they had two packages stolen from their residence in the 900-block of NE Walnut Blvd. No suspect identified.

September 1st

Assist Other Agency- A Community Services Officer responded to assist Benton County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a lost hiker, just north of City limits in the McDonald-Dunn Forest area. The hiker was an elderly female who strayed from the path and became entangled in blackberry brambles. The CSO located the female and escorted her to safety.

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave during a separate investigation. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 2900-block of NW Elmwood Dr for a report of a male family member trespassing on their property. The caller reported the 45-year-old male, no fixed address, came to their residence uninvited and began yelling outside. The caller only wanted the male trespassed from the residence. He was issued a trespass notice and left the property.

Trespass- Officers responded to a community housing facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a female trespassing. The caller reported the 61-year-old female, no fixed address, was yelling and causing a disturbance. The caller only wanted the female trespassed from the location. She was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- A 40-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for Disorderly Conduct after he pulled the fire alarm at an apartment complex.

August 31st

Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle- Caller reported their vehicle was broken into overnight while parked outside their residence in the 800-block of SW 11th St. Multiple items of camping and fishing gear were taken from the vehicle. No suspect was identified.

Harassment- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 1st St and NW Monroe Ave for what was originally reported as an assault. The caller reported a female in her twenties was hitting a male with a water bottle. A 59-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the male involved. He stated the female asked him for a lighter and when he found out she was going to use the lighter to smoke fentanyl he took it back from her. He said the female became upset and started hitting him with her water bottle. The female left prior to officer’s arrival and was not located. The male said he was not injured and did not wish to pursue charges if the female was located.

Burglary- Caller reported his residence in the 3700-block of SW Waterleaf Ave was broken into over the weekend while he was out of town. Various items were taken from the residence.

Harassment- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of an assault which had just occurred. The caller reported he got into an argument with a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, and during the argument the male punched him in the face. The suspect was located in the area and admitted to pushing the caller during the argument but denied ever hitting him. Witnesses in the area stated they saw the suspect push the caller, but didn’t see any punches thrown during the argument. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Harassment.

Theft- Caller reported her scooter was stolen from outside a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St. Caller stated she was inside the business for approximately five minutes, and the scooter was gone by the time she came back outside. No suspect identified.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between a male and female at a residence in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave. The 54-year-old female, Corvallis resident, involved in the incident was not on scene when the officer arrived. The female was located in the area, and it was determined there was no crime related to the domestic incident. However, the officer observed signs of intoxication in the female and noted she had driven from the residence. The female was taken into custody for DUII and transported to the Law Enforcement Center.

Criminal Mischief- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for Criminal Mischief after breaking a window of a church in the 600-block of NW Madison Ave.

Contempt of Court- A 47-year-old male, Philomath resident, was taken into custody for violating a pre-trial release after contacting a victim on several occasions after being released from jail. He was booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted on a trespass complaint in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave.

August 30th

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a subject on the property who employees wanted trespassed. The responding officer arrived on the property and learned a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had shown up and been told to leave. The subject did not go initially but had left prior to police arrival. The employees wanted the female trespassed from the property. The officer contacted the female and informed her she was trespassed.

Criminal Trespass- Officers contacted a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, at the Law Enforcement Center. It was reported the female was urinating on the property and had been storing items under the stairs. The female was issued a trespass notice for the property and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A passerby reported an argument in a vehicle parked in the 1700-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr. Officers responded to the area and located the described vehicle. Officers contacted two individuals and learned one, a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant. Both parties denied any argument occurred and there were no visible injuries or signs of a fight. No crimes related to original complaint.

Warrant Arrest / Criminal Trespass- Caller reported a subject trespassing a building in the 3500-block of SE Shoreline Dr. Officers arrived at the private building and located a 34-year-old male, no fixed address, inside. The male had an active warrant for his arrest and was detained. He was removed from the property, issued a citation for the warrant, and trespassed from the property before being released.

Warrant Arrest / Franchise Requirement- An officer was on patrol in the 400-block of NW Monroe Ave when they observed a subject digging through the trash. The officer stopped the subject and identified him as a 28-year-old male, no fixed address. During the contact, the officer learned he had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrants and released.

Criminal Mischief II / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to reports of a male causing a disturbance in the 700-block of SW C Ave. A 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was seen kicking the door of a building in the area during an area check. Investigation tied this male to other damage in the area, and he was highly intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the jail.

Reckless Driving / Criminal Mischief / Hit and Run (Property)- Officers responded to the report of two vehicles which had been hit by a driver who fled the area at the intersection of Hwy 99 and NE Circle Blvd. Officers arrived, closed Hwy 99, and began to investigate. A caller on Hwy 20 reported a vehicle with heavy front end damage that appeared to be operated by an intoxicated driving traveling eastbound. Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies located and performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. Investigation confirmed this was the same one which had fled the two crashes in Corvallis. Deputies arrested the driver, a 25-year-old male, Albany resident, for DUII. Officers contacted the male at the jail and added additional charges stemming from the incident.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Beca Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

August 29th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center. She had a warrant for her arrest and was cited in lieu of custody.

Assault- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for the report of a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who had assaulted another male. Officers discovered an argument from earlier in the day between the two sparked another argument in which the 39-year-old male punched the other male in the face. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Assault- Officers contacted a 21-year-old female, Corvallis resident, in the 600-block of NW 5th St. She was wanted in connection with a domestic assault which had occurred a few nights prior. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct / Harassment / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, causing a disturbance. The female was reported to be damaging property, hitting people, and had to be held down by force. When officers arrived, she was found nearby bleeding from a large laceration on her hand. The female continued to be disorderly and was taken into custody. She was transported to the hospital for jail clearance and then transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 700-block of NW 15th St for an unrelated call for service. During the initial investigation, officers contacted a 31-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had two outstanding warrants. She was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 42-year-old male, Jefferson resident, in the 2400-block of SW 3rd St who was the subject of an active warrant. He was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Assault II / Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Tampering with a Witness / Menacing- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW 23rd St for a report of a male who had been attacked by a machete and was bleeding from his leg. The male was located and officers provided first aid while other responding officers searched for the suspect. A 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was located in an apartment in the 800-block of NW 23rd St and was identified as the suspect. A katana-style sword was located and seized. The male was arrested and transported to the jail. The victim was transported by medics to the hospital.

August 28th

Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for the report of a theft perpetrated by a 36-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody at a nearby bus stop and later released with a criminal citation for theft.

Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for the report of an additional theft perpetrated by a 57-year-old male, Alsea resident. The male was taken into custody and later released with a criminal citation.

Open Container- An officer contacted a 40-year-old male, Bend resident, in the 1100-block of NW Van Buren Ave who was holding an open container of alcohol. The male was issued a citation for Open Container and released.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle- Officers contacted a caller who reported her vehicle was stolen from the 2000-block of NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 200-block of SW 1st St who was the subject of an active warrant. He was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1400-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of an active warrant. He was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

August 27th

Attempted Burglary- An officer responded to the 2000-block of NW Century Dr for an attempted break-in in one of the newly constructed residences in the area. The caller advised unknown suspects had removed a screen and broke a window out of the residence at the location. Unknown if the residence was entered or if anything was missing.

Burglary- An officer responded to the 1600-block of SW Knollbrook Pl after a caller reported he had accidentally left his garage door open and an unknown suspect entered and stole his bicycle. While the caller was on his way back to his residence, he located his bicycle near the BMX track. Officers responded to the area and were able to recover the bike and return it to its owner. A 30-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited in lieu of custody  for being in possession of the stolen bike.

Fight / Attempted Assault IV / Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to the 1900-block of NW 9th St for a fight in progress between a male and female inside a black truck. A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Attempted Assault IV and Criminal Trespass II and was transported to the jail.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW Starker Ave for a trespassing complaint. A 59-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at the location. The male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was cited in lieu of custody. The trespassing complaint was determined to be a civil issue, as there were two property owners, one of whom wanted him off the property and the second who had given him permission to be on the property.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol when they contacted a 23-year-old female, Corvallis resident, in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. They learned the female had multiple warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations for the warrants and released.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NE Circle Blvd for a report of a male masturbating inside the building. The officer arrived on scene and contacted the 40-year-old male, no fixed address, who was not masturbating at the time of contact and denied doing so. The male was heavily intoxicated and did admit to urinating in a bottle. Witnesses had already left the area and did not provide contact information. The officer was unable to develop probable cause for a crime, but the male was trespassed from the business per the request of an employee.

Theft III- Officers were dispatched to the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a shoplift and the suspect fleeing the area. Officers located and stopped a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, nearby. He was issued a citation for the theft and released.

Disorderly Conduct II / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to a report of two males arguing near the intersection of NW 3rd St and NW Monroe Ave. During the response, the incident escalated to punches being thrown. One male was located on scene, and the other was located in the 200-block of SW Monroe Ave. The male who left the scene was identified as a 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident. It was learned there was an initial argument that continued as the 35-year-old male rammed the other male with an electric bicycle, and witnesses described him as being the primary aggressor. The 35-year-old male made statements indicating he was intoxicated as well as displaying signs and symptoms. He was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Disorderly Conduct II.

Arson- Officers responded to a reported fire which was located near NW 2nd St and NW Harrison Blvd. Investigation determined a campsite which was vacant for a few hours had caught fire. The campers advised their camp had been ransacked the past two nights. Fire investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire.

Theft / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- Officers responded to a report of a bicycle theft in progress in the 1000-block of SW Madison Ave. The male suspect was identified and the bicycle was recovered. The male was identified as a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, and was arrested. He was ultimately transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of SW 6th St and SW D Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was arrested and transported to the jail.

August 26th

Theft / Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, stole approximately $25 worth of merchandise from a business in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. The female had been previously trespassed from the business. She was located nearby and found to also have outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was transported to the jail.

Burglary- A 55-year-old female, no fixed address, entered a fraternity in the 1000-block of NW Monroe Ave. She helped herself to their food and cooked breakfast without cleaning up. She was arrested and taken to the jail.

Robbery- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was caught by loss prevention staff stealing merchandise in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. Once confronted by loss prevention, she became combative, attempting to punch the employee. She was located nearby and transported to the jail.

Theft / ID Theft / Forgery- Caller reported a former employee forged company checks for personal expenses. The caller did not wish to pursue criminal charges, but wanted the employee to know this was serious.

Littering- An officer observed a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, blatantly littering in public. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Aircraft Interference- Eugene Airport traffic control received a report from a pilot of their plane being subjected to a green laser being aimed at them from a ground source in the area of NE Conifer Blvd.

Criminal Mischief- Caller at a residence in the area of NW 10th St and NW Jackson Ave reported they heard what they believed to be someone kicking a nearby door and then witnessed two vehicles leaving the scene.

Warrant Arrest- A 33-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on a Parole Violation warrant after being contacted for trespassing in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. She was booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on several active warrants after being contacted near NW 11th St and NW Fillmore Ave. He was booked at the jail.

August 25th

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the Skate Park for a report of a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who was causing a disturbance. The male threw a wheelbarrow and was yelling at people in the park. The male was located and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Fraud- Caller reported a suspect used his frequent flyer miles to purchase Apple gift cards.

Theft- An unidentified suspect stole two bags of cans from outside the victim’s front door in the 1200-block of SW E Ave. The suspect was not located in the area.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a business after he was previously trespassed from the location. The male was found nearby and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to update his sex offender registry. The male was over a month outside of compliance with his registration and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a theft which had just occurred. The caller reported the male suspect stole tools and left the area in a vehicle. The was located in the area and the suspect was identified as a 55-year-old male, Bend resident. The property was recovered, and it was determined the male’s driver’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level. Additionally, the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody for Theft III, DWS - Misdemeanor, and the warrants. He was transported to the jail.

Criminal Mischief- Victim reported a person known to them broke out a window in their residence, however they didn’t want the issue criminally pursued.

August 24th

Criminal Mischief / Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers were dispatched to the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who used a cane to damage a micro-shelter at the location. Officers located the male nearby pushing a wheelchair with his belongings and walking with the assistance of a cane. The male attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly taken into custody on the listed charges.

Trespass / Disorderly Conduct- A 26-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was reported to be trespassing at a downtown business and causing a disturbance. The female had previously been trespassed from the business, but it was learned the business had been allowing her back into the store on a regular basis. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, but not Trespassing due to the inconsistency of the business in allowing and disallowing her to shop there.

Theft- Two backpacks were stolen from Avery Park.

Interfering with Public Transit- CTS staff called to report a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, attempting to board the bus without shoes. The male and the driver argued about this for less than one minute and the male left the bus. No enforcement action was taken due to the de minimis nature of the incident.

Attempted Burglary- A caller reported hearing a loud noise at his residence overnight. The following morning, he found a shoe print on his front door where it appeared an unidentified subject had attempted to kick it in.

Fraud- Caller reported he was made aware his property in the 500-block of NW Oak Ave was listed for rent on a property site when it was not actually available for rent. The caller contacted the website and had the listing removed. No suspect was identified.

Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle- Caller reported his vehicle was broken into while it was parked overnight at a business in the 900-block of NW 4th St. The caller was missing his generator and chainsaw from the back of his truck. There were no cameras at the business and no suspect was identified.

Theft- Officers responded to the 800-block of SW 5th St for a report of a bicycle theft which had just occurred. The caller reported a female took his neighbor’s bicycle from their yard and rode away on it. A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was located in the area riding the bicycle and denied stealing the bike. The owner of the bike positively identified the bike as theirs and the female was taken into custody for Theft II and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported their house was “egged” twice in a 24-hour period.

August 23rd

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1300-block of NW 9th St for the report of a fire in an encampment behind a strip mall. Corvallis Fire Department was able to put the fire out. The owner of the camp, a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted nearby. He did not know how the fire started. It was also discovered he was the subject of several active warrants. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hwy 99W and NE Circle Blvd for the report of a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who had his pants down and was bending over. Officers contacted the male and discovered he had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Criminal Mistreatment / Assault IV- Officers were able to contact a 22-year-old male, Albany resident, in Albany who was wanted for Criminal Mistreatment and Assault in the 4th Degree. The charges stemmed from an incident which had occurred at a memory care facility in the 6000-block of SW Mosaic Dr a few days prior. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Assault II / Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Menacing- A 25-year-old male, Corvallis resident, walked up to a Community Service Officer who was out on patrol in the 500-block of SW Adams Ave. The CSO recognized the male as being wanted for an assault involving a bat from a couple days prior. Officers arrived on scene and took the male into custody. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were on patrol when they contacted a 53-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 200-block of NW 1st St who another officer had probable cause to arrest. Additionally, the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and the previous charge and was released.

Suspicious Circumstances- Officers contacted a resident in the 5100-block of SW Meadow Flower Dr for a report of a letter that was put on their door by an unknown subject.

August 22nd

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of SW E Ave for the report of a disturbance involving a 31-year-old female and 40-year-old male, both no fixed address. The female was discovered to have warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and ultimately released with citations.

Failure to Register as Sex Offender- Officers were on patrol in the 1500-block of Avery Park Dr when they contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing in the park. Officers discovered the male was out of compliance as a sex offender. He was placed into custody and transported to the jail.

Found Property- Officers contacted a caller who found a backpack with BB guns in it near the intersection of NW 20th St and NW Grant Ave. The backpack was secured for safekeeping.

Disorderly Conduct II / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of SW D Ave for a report of a male who was screaming about “putting a bullet” in someone’s head and had chased another person as they drove away in a vehicle. The subject was identified as a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who was also the subject of an active warrant. He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Unlawful Use of a GPS Device- Officers contacted a caller in the 1200-block of SW 26th St who had located two AirTags on their vehicle.

August 21st

Theft of Service / Interfering with a Peace Officer- An employee in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave reported a subject ran up a tab and then left without paying. The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident. Officers checked the area and later located the suspect in the 300-block of NW Harrison Blvd. When officers attempted to stop the suspect, he fled the area on foot, running three blocks south until he was stopped by responding officers and arrested. He was booked into jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 500-block of SE Goodnight Ave for a report of a vehicle parked in the bicycle lane with loud music. The driver, a 19-year-old male, Pennsylvania resident, was arrested for DUII stemming from investigation on scene. He was also issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

August 20th

Burglary- An unknown suspect broke into a residence in the 1300-block of SE E Ave and stole multiple items.

Criminal Mischief- An unknown suspect shatter a vehicle back window in the 1700-block of NW 9th St.

Public Indecency- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male who had exposed his genitals to the caller. Caller reported the male walked past her and then turner around to face her with his genitals exposed. A 25-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the suspect. The male was located in the area and taken into custody, then transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male had an active warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 52-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report she was blocking the entrance to the parking lot. The female had an active warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. She was moved along from the property.

Warrant Arrest- A 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 500-block of SW 5th St. The male had multiple active warrants for his arrest and was transported to the jail.

Harassment- Officers responded to a residence in the 3400-block of NE Lancaster Dr for a report of a physical fight between a male and female. A 25-year-old female and 29-year-old male, both Corvallis residents, were contacted at the residence. The female was invited over to the male’s residence and they had been drinking. During the evening, the male told the female she needed to leave and she refused. An argument ensued about her not leaving the residence which resulted in the male and female pushing each other as he was trying to get her out of the residence. Nobody wanted to pursue charges, and the female was provided a courtesy ride home due to her level of intoxication.

August 19th

Motor Vehicle Collision- A person riding an electric bike against traffic and on a sidewalk ran into a vehicle as it was entering the roadway. The cyclist sustained minor injuries.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Reckless Endangering / Attempted Assault- Officers responded to a report of a physical fight at a hotel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St. The caller reported two females were physically fighting and one of them was holding an infant. A 23-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was identified as the suspect and fled on foot prior to officer’s arrival. The victim was on scene holding the infant. She stated the suspect accused her of having an affair with the suspect’s boyfriend and began trying to punch her while she was holding her child. The suspect was located and taken into custody for Reckless Endangering and Attempted Assault IV. She was transported to the jail.

August 18th

Trespass- An unidentified, apparently intoxicated female entered an apartment in the 1000-block of NW Fillmore Ave uninvited. The female was gone prior to police arrival and was not located in the area.

Trespass- A 58-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassing at a downtown business. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation in lieu of custody. She proceeded to loiter on the LEC steps and accost passersby for about an hour.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, came to the Law Enforcement Center and was shouting and causing a disturbance. She was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft- Two unidentified suspects entered the backyard of a residence in the 3900-block of NW Whitham Hill and stole an empty fish tank.

Disturbance- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance in the alley behind the Daytime Drop-in Center. The male moved along when asked and the business did not wish to pursue any charges or have him trespassed.

Burglary / Harassment / Disorderly Conduct- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of a previous call for service, pushed his way inside a residence in the 500-block of SW 5th St. He was located nearby and arrested on the listed charges. He was taken to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct II / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male arguing with staff and refusing to leave the business. The male kicked a vehicle in the parking lot as he finally began to leave the business. A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the suspect and detained in the parking lot. The caller said the male was intoxicated and when he tried purchasing alcohol he provided an unauthorized identification card. The male became aggressive with staff over the ID and refused to leave. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II and Disorderly Conduct II.

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Mobile Pl for multiple reports of an intoxicated male yelling in the roadway and at his parents. A 28-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and continued to yell at his father while officers were trying to speak to him. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW 9th St for a report of an intoxicated male walking in the middle of the road and causing a disturbance. A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the suspect. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

August 17th

Elude- An officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a speeding motorcycle in the 1300-block of NW Hwy 99. The motorcyclist rapidly accelerated to over 80 mph and the officer immediately discontinued the attempted stop.

Illegal Camping / Open Container of Alcohol in Public- A highly intoxicated 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was shouting and causing a disturbance from inside a tent in Central Park. The female had several open bottles of alcohol in the tent with her. The female was very uncooperative with officers but was eventually arrested for the above listed charges. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued citations in lieu of custody. She was also trespassed from all City Parks. Several community members assisted by taking the female’s property to the Women’s Shelter.

Theft by Extortion- Caller reported he sent explicit photos to an unknown individual online. The person began threatening to send the photos to friends and family of the caller if the caller didn’t give them money. No money was sent and the suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 21-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of NW 9th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Trespass II / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who was causing a disturbance in the business. The male was located in the area and was cited in lieu of custody for Disorderly Conduct II, Criminal Trespass II, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).

August 16th

Theft / Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 1500-block of NW 9th St when they were flagged down and notified that a 52-year-old male, Philomath resident, just shoplifted from a nearby store. The officer was able to stop and arrest the male nearby. It was also discovered the male had active warrants for his arrest. He was released with citations.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1300-block of SW 35th St for the report of a cold trespass. Officers discovered an unknown person had stayed in a greenhouse overnight and left their items behind.

Disorderly Conduct II- A caller in the 300-block of SW Twin Oaks Cir reported a subject outside screaming and yelling, and threatening employees of the business. Officers arrived at the address and located a 34-year-old female, no fixed address, outside still screaming and yelling. The female was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II. She was issued a citation and released.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to the 1400-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a loud party. Officers arrived at the residence, observed the violation of Unlawful Amplified Sound, and issued a Special Response Notice to the 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer conducted a traffic stop near NW 8th St and NW Van Buren Ave for a moving violation. The driver was identified as a 52-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who was driving back from Portland after attending a concert and having a few drinks. The driver consented to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was ultimately arrested for a DUII. She was issued a citation and released.

August 15th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- Officers contacted a 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center, who failed to register as a sex offender on time. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers received multiple reports of a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who was causing a disturbance in the 700-block of NW 4th St. There were reports of him throwing rocks at cars, trying to fight people, and stripping his clothes off. Officers contacted him nearby and placed him into custody. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with a citation.

Trespass- Officers contacted a 52-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of SW Avery Dr who was trespassing. She was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of someone arguing. During the investigation, officers contacted a 26-year-old female, no fixed address, who had outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was released with citations.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 400-block of SW 3rd St when they observed a 20-year-old male, no fixed address, whom they knew had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and issued citations for the warrants.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW Buchanan Ave for a report of a male lying in the grass near a bike, holding a knife. Officers contacted the 34-year-old male, no fixed address, and learned he had warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations and released.

Warrant Arrest / Follow-Up for Menacing & Disorderly Conduct- An officer on patrol recognized a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, for whom another officer had probable cause to arrest for Menacing and Disorderly Conduct II. The officer stopped and arrested the male and learned he also had active warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations and released.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of SW 4th St for a report of a subject causing a disturbance on the property. Officers contacted a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, and issued him a trespass notice per this business’s request.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on foot in the area of Allen Berg Park and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. During the contacted, the officer learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- While on foot patrol in the Allen Berg Park, an officer contacted a 26-year-old female, no fixed address, and learned she had an active warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Criminal Trespass II / Theft III- A caller reported a previously trespassed subject back at the business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect nearby and identified him as the same subject from two previous calls for service. They confirmed the 30-year-old male, no fixed address, was previously trespassed from the business. He was arrested and released with a citation.

Menacing / Unlawful Use of a Weapon- A caller in the 400-block of SW Adams Ave called to report a subject ran towards him and his vehicle with a metal pipe. Officers located the 30-year-old male, no fixed address, and the same from the three previous arrests. He was booked into the jail.

Indecent Exposure- A caller reported two people in a vehicle who appeared to be engaged in acts not appropriate for public viewing in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave. An officer located the vehicle with the door open with a male’s feet sticking out as he and a female were engaged in sexual intercourse. The 36-year-old male and 41-year-old female, both no fixed address, stopped, dressed, were issued citations and released.

Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to Avery Park for a report of someone locked in a public bathroom. The officer arrived at the restroom and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was previously trespassed from all City Parks. The male was removed from the property, issued a citation, and released.

Assist Other Agency- Deputies and officers received information from Newport Police Department that multiple suspects were responsible for an armed robbery and were last seen eastbound from the city. A Benton County Sheriff’s Deputy observed the vehicle driving east on SW Philomath Blvd, and an Officer was able to get behind the vehicle as it pulled into the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. Officers and deputies performed a high-risk traffic stop on the vehicle and detained three suspects without incident. Deputies and officers coordinated with Newport PD to transfer custody of the three suspects.

August 14th

Trespass- A 64-year-old male, no fixed address, was reported to officers trespassing in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St. He was asked to leave yesterday but had not moved. He was then arrested by officers for refusing to leave again. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with citations.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers were called to the 1500-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 23-year-old female and 36-year-old male, both no fixed address, trespassing behind the store and smoking drugs. Officers arrested both subjects and found the female also had a warrant for her arrest. Both were later released with citations.

Shoplift- Officers responded to the 2400-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a shoplift. The caller reported a male had shoplifted items from the store and was possibly on a stolen scooter. The male was not located.

August 13th

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, Salem resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the jail.

Assault- An unidentified male suspect kicked a female Corvallis resident from behind while she was walking near NW 9th St and NW Monroe Ave. The victim did not know the suspect and he was gone prior to police arrival.

Disturbance- Officers received multiple calls regarding two males causing a disturbance in the 300-block of NW 35th St. Both parties were intoxicated, and at one point one was locked inside a porta-potty. No crimes committed.

Criminal Trespass- An officer was dispatched to the 1500-block of SW 53rd St for a report of a male trespassing. The 64-year-od male, no fixed address, was contacted still on the property. He was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to an unrelated call for service in the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr and contacted a 56-year-old female, Corvallis resident. During the investigation, the officer learned the female had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 400-block of NW 2nd St when they observed a subject whom they knew to have active warrants for their arrest. The officer contacted the 45-year-old male, no fixed address, and confirmed he had several active warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations for his warrants.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A concerned citizen called in a driving complaint on a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in the 700-block of NW 9th St. The driver, a 25-year-old female, Tangent resident, was arrested for a DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Littering- While on an unrelated call for service in the 100-block of SW 2nd St, a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, attempted to place trash on the roof of a patrol car. It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and cited for the warrant and littering.

August 12th

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a downtown business where he had been previously excluded. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- A caller reported a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, pulling on the handles of parked cars, punching vehicle windows, and shaking the locked front door of a business in the 2400-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was later located and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 28-year-old male, no fixed address, was going in and out of a business in the 2000-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male cursed at an employee and refused to stay away after employees told him not to come back. The male was located and arrested for trespassing.

Burglary / Theft- An unidentified suspect stole an electric bike out of an open garage in the 3200-block of NW Foxtail Pl.

Theft of Services / Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine)- A 32-year-old female and a 37-year-old male, both no fixed address, were contacted in the 300-block of NW 1st St. The male and female were utilizing electricity from a power box owned by ODOT, and both were found to be in possession of misdemeanor amounts of methamphetamine. They were each issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- A 38-year-old female, Garibaldi resident, was caught stealing over $400 worth in merchandise from a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft II and the merchandise was recovered by the business.

Trespass- A 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was trespassed from a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St after caller reported he was blocking the entryway to the business. The male gathered his items and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 300-block of NW 1st St. The female had warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

August 11th

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer responded to check the welfare of a 19-year-old female, Albany resident, passed out in a vehicle. The female was found to be sleeping in the car and in possession of a meth pipe. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NW 1st St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a female who threw a cigarette in a trashcan, causing the refuse to begin smoldering. Caller witnessed a 44-year-old female, Corvallis resident, throw the cigarette in the trashcan. The fire was put out and the female was contacted in the area. The female had warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Caller reported there was a male and female on his property in the 500-block of NW 23rd St who refused to leave the property when asked to do so. The caller wanted the individuals trespassed from the property. A 64-year-old female and 57-year-old male, both no fixed address, were contacted on the property and issued a trespass notice. They gathered their belongings and left the area.

Theft- Caller reported their bicycle was stolen from outside their residence in the 800-block of NW 26th St sometime during the last week. No suspect information identified.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported they came out of their residence in the 2900-block of NW 13th St and found their vehicle with a boot print and dent. Caller said the vehicle had been parked for two days, so they were unsure when the damage occurred.

Warrant Arrest / Providing False Information to a Police Officer- A 38-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of NW 1st St for a report she was starting a warming fire. The female had a warrant for her arrest and provided officers a fictitious name. She was taken into custody for the warrant and providing false information and was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr for a report of an argument. A 50-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at the residence and stated there was no argument, the yelling was coming from his children playing in the pool. There was no crime related to the argument, but the male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Alarm / Curfew- Officers responded to an alarm at a school in the 100-block of SE Alexander St and contacted two juveniles leaving the property. They admitted to shaking one of the doors, causing the alarm to go off. They were warned for curfew and released to responsible adults.

Assault- A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, bit one of the nurses tending to him in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr. He was charged with Assault IV.

August 10th

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Criminal Mischief- A caller reported a suspect broke into his ice cream truck overnight. The suspect ruined over $1,000 in ice cream and left behind a credit card. The cardholder was contacted and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Open Container of Alcohol / Warrant Arrest- An officer recognized a 45-year-old woman, no fixed address, in Central Park. The female had an open beer and was also found to have several outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- A caller reported she suspected her ex-boyfriend stole her bicycle. The was no information to support the suspicion. The bicycle was entered into LEDS/NCIC and Garage 529 App as stolen.

Public Indecency- Officers responded to the 700-block of NE 2nd St for a report of a male who appeared to be masturbating in public. The caller reported she was swimming with her friend when they observed the male watching them and touching himself inappropriately. The caller and her friend moved to a different area, and the male moved to where he could see them and continued his behavior. The suspect was identified as a 49-year-old male, no fixed address, and he was taken into custody for public indecency. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation due to jail capacity.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1000-block of NW 9th St. The male was rolling on the ground in the bike lane and displayed multiple indicators of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The male consented to a search of his person and a small amount of methamphetamine was located on him. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for PCS-Methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment- Officers responded to a residence in the 5200-block of SW Commons Way for a domestic disturbance between the caller and her ex-husband, a 43-year-old male, Philomath resident. The caller reported her ex-husband came to her residence intoxicated and accused her of cheating on him. The male tried grabbing the caller’s phone during the argument and ended up grabbing her by the arms and upper body. The male left prior to officers’ arrival but was located in the area. He was taken into custody for harassment and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on multiple active warrants after being contacted during a disturbance complaint near the intersection of SW Hopkins Ave and SE 3rd St. She also received a citation for False Information after providing a false name to officers.

Trespass- A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for trespass after an officer recognized her in a grocery store parking lot, knowing she had already been trespassed from this business.

Disorderly Conduct / Criminal Mischief- A 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was reported to be drunkenly harassing his neighbor in the 400-block of NW Walnut Blvd. He began spitting while in the rear prisoner compartment of the patrol car and was charged with Criminal Mischief as well. He was booked at the jail.

August 9th

Trespass / Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for the report of a 68-year-old male, no fixed address, who was inside a store from which he had been previously trespassed. The male was located just outside the store, and it was discovered he had stolen some alcohol. He was taken into custody and later released with citations for the crime.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of NW Tyler Ave for the report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was in the bathroom yelling and refusing to leave. The male had been previously trespassed. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation.

Noise Complaint- An officer responded to an event center in the 1800-block of SW Whiteside Dr for a noise complaint. The reporting party advised there was loud music coming from the venue at an unreasonable level. The event was concluding when the officer arrived, but the complainant wanted the incident documented due to ongoing issues with the venue.

Theft- An officer responded to the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a reported theft. The victim reported an unknown male stole a $5 bill that was folded into an origami airplane. The suspect was not identified.

August 8th

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 1400-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, who was smoking drugs and refusing to leave the property. Officers discovered she had warrants for her arrest and she was taken into custody. She was later released with citations.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of SW B Ave when they recognized a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, trespassing at the park. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest as well. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Robbery / Menacing / Coercion / Theft / Assault / Disorderly Conduct / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 1400-block of NW 14th Pl for the report of an elderly victim screaming for help. Upon further investigation, officers discovered a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, attacked the victim from behind, said he had a gun, and put something to the victim’s back. The male fled with property of the victim. Officers searched the area but did not locate the male. A few hours later, officers located the male and placed him into custody. They also discovered he had warrants for his arrest. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Driving While Suspended (Felony)- Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The driver, a 65-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a license suspended to the felony level. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Endangering- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of NW 5th St for the report of a theft. When officers arrived a witness, a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was about to drive out of the parking lot. Officers asked if he could stop and give them a statement. Officers immediately recognized he was driving under the influence. He also had an infant child in the vehicle with him. The male was taken into custody for DUII and recklessly endangering his child. A relative came to pick up the child and the suspect was transported to the Law Enforcement Center. He was later released with citations to a sober driver.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 29-year-old female, Albany resident, was stopped in the 200-block of NW 2nd St for expired registration. After further investigation, the female was also arrested for DUII.

Assault- A 26-year-old male, Keizer resident, was contacted outside a business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St after being asked to leave by the business. The male resisted bouncers at the business, injuring on of them. He was arrested for multiple crimes.

August 7th

Trespass- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for the report of a 48-year-old female and a 36-year-old male, both no fixed address, who were blocking the sidewalk in the park and smoking marijuana. Officers contacted the two and discovered they had both been previously trespassed from parks for committing crimes in the park. They were arrested and later released with citations.

Warrant Arrest / Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a subject refusing to leave the property when asked to do so. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area who matched the description provided by the caller. The male was identified, and officers learned he had an active warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into the Linn County Jail on the warrant and trespassed from the property.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Menacing / Disorderly Conduct- While an officer was at the hospital for an unrelated call for service, he was notified a male who had just been discharged from the hospital was brandishing a knife in the ER lobby, threatening staff and threatening to injure himself. The suspect, a 71-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was quickly taken into custody without issue. He was ultimately charged with multiple offenses and booked at the Benton County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of NW Glenridge Dr and NW Walnut Blvd. A single vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility box and other landscaping. After investigation, the driver, a 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for a DUII.

August 6th

Trespass / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of SW B Ave when they contacted a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, who was wanted in connection with a trespass from months prior. When officers went to stop him, he briefly ran, stopped, and then was placed in custody. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and later released with citations.

Theft II- A loss prevention employee called from the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl to report a shoplifter being detained. An officer responded to the area and contacted the LP employee and a 41-year-male, Corvallis resident, who admitted to the theft. The male was issued a citation for Theft II, trespassed from the business, and released.

Contempt of Court- Victim called from the 1400-block of SW Brooklane Dr to report his ex-wife, a 31-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacting him in violation of a no-contact order. The female was contacted and issued a citation for the offense.

August 5th

Warrant Arrest- A detective contacted a 29-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 300-block of SW Richland Ave. The detective learned the male had an active warrant for his arrest. He was cited and released for the warrant.

Trespass- An officer responded to the 500-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a group of people trespassing and camping on a vacant property. The officer contacted a 34-year-old male and 56-year-old female, both no fixed address, trespassing on the property. The property owner did not want to pursue charges and only wished for them to be trespassed. Both individuals were trespassed and left the area.

Warrant Arrest / Follow Up- Multiple officers were in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd searching for a 56-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was the suspect of a domestic violence investigation from the previous day. Officers had probable cause to arrest him for Assault IV-Domestic and Felony Strangulation. Officers located the male and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into jail on the previous charges and an additional active warrant out of Linn County.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, for a trespass complaint in front of a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. It was learned the male was also the subject of several active warrants for his arrest. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released on citations for the warrants.

August 4th

Burglary- Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW Dixon St for the report of stolen tools for inside and outside of a home under construction.

Theft of a Bicycle- Caller reported their bike was stolen from their address in the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr sometime since the previous Friday night. No suspect information.

August 3rd

Violent Conduct / Trespass II- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW 2nd St for the report of a male who had entered a business and began yelling and screaming at people and refusing to leave. Officers contacted a 71-year-old male, no fixed address, and cited him for Violent Conduct and Trespass II.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported her vehicle tires were damaged and all flat in the 5500-block of SW Country Club Dr. She believed this was done by her ex.

Warrant Arrest- Multiple officers responded to an apartment complex in the 800-block of NW 23rd St for a report of a domestic violence incident. Officers were not able to determine probable cause a crime had occurred, but one of the involved parties, a 24-year-old female, Corvallis resident, had an active warrant for her arrest. She was cited and released on her warrant.

Theft- Victim reported the left of their bike after they went into the grocery store in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. No suspect information.

Warrant Arrest- A 50-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody on multiple active warrants and transported to the Linn County Jail.

August 2nd

Theft- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NE 2nd St for the report of a theft from a vehicle. No suspect identified.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted two people in the 1600-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr involved in a civil dispute over a vehicle. During the investigation, officers learned the 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol when they observed a 56-year-old male, no fixed address. Whom they recognized and knew had a warrant for his arrest. The officer stopped the male and confirmed the warrant. The male was arrested, issued a citation for the warrant and released.

August 1st

Warrant Arrest- Officers arrested a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 400-block of NW Monroe Ave for active warrants after officers were called to the scene for a male causing a disturbance. He was placed into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Motor Vehicle Collision / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the area of Hwy 34 and the Hwy 34 Bypass to assist with a crash. When officers arrived on scene they contacted the involved parties and learned one, a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, had active warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the jail.

 Criminal Trespass II / Resisting Arrest- A caller in the 700-block of NW 21st St called to report his girlfriend was trespassing and refusing to leave the property when told to do so. An officer arrived on scene and advised the 21-year-old female, Corvallis resident, she needed to leave the property. The female refused to do so, hitting and kicking the doors and windows of the apartment. The female was arrested for trespassing and resisted arrest by kicking the police vehicle’s doors and windows and struggling with officers. She was placed in a WRAP restraint device and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to Avery Park for a report of a subject requesting medical assistance. Officers contacted a 51-year-old male, no fixed address, who was extremely intoxicated but uninjured. He had several warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations and released.

July 31st

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for the report of a noise complaint. They contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who was playing music from a stereo. He had warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody. He was later released with a citation.

Burglary- Officers were dispatched to the 1600-block of NW Highland Dr for the report of a burglary. The caller reported they encountered an unknown female in the building. She was asked to leave and left, but later on the caller realized some items were stolen and contacted police. Suspect not located.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for the report of a 58-year-old female, no fixed address, who was refusing to leave the property. Officers contacted the female and discovered she had been previously trespassed at that location. She was taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest / Littering- Officers contacted a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area of SE 3rd St and SE Crystal Lake Dr for littering. The male was arrested for littering and did not identify himself. He was identified at the jail and it was discovered he had a statewide felony warrant for his arrest. He was then transported to the Linn County Jail.

Open Container / Littering- Officers contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave. The female was seen drinking in public and littering. She was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing in the area of the 1700-block of SW 3rd St. It was discovered he had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Cougar Sighting- A cougar was sighted killing a deer and burying it under a porch in the 2100-block of NW Sunview Dr. Neighbors were advised of the sighting, as well as ODFW.

Theft- Officers took a report of a bicycle theft in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Menacing- An officer took a report of a cold menacing in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The caller initially reported an unknown male and two females approached them asking for assistance locating a lost wallet and offered him gold in exchange. When the caller declined, the male tried to solicit his help by offering one of the females. The caller again declined the male’s offer. The caller reported the other female then pointed a firearm at him, before all three sped off in a silver sedan. The caller was not able to get a license plate, but believed it was out of Florida.

Trespass- An officer responded to the 1000-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a female refusing to leave. The officer contacted the 80-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and trespassed her from the property. The female left with no further issues.

Harassment- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 3400-block of Oxford Cir. Caller reported an on-going issue between family members.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 200-block of NW Monroe Ave who had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody at the scene.

Assist Other Agency- An officer responded to Hwy 99 to assist another agency with a 47-year-old male, California resident, who was recklessly driving and under the influence of intoxicants. The male was taken into custody and transported to Benton County Jail.

July 30th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1700-block of NW Dixon Ave who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and lodged at the jail.

Shoplift- Officers responded to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a shoplift. Caller reported a female had stolen $30-$50 worth of merchandise. The female was not located or identified.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 34-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW Walnut Blvd who had several active warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 2100-block of NW 9th St for a suspicious male in the parking lot. The officer contacted the subject, a 23-year-old male, no fixed address, and learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and lodged at the jail.

Suspicious Person- Officers responded to the 3500-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a suspicious male who was following a female and had grabbed her hand. Officers located the subject, a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, but were unable to develop probable cause for a crime due to the female not wanting to cooperate.

Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle- A witness in the 3200-block of NE Lancaster St reported seeing a male suspect entering a vehicle and taking items out of it. Search of the area did not locate any suspects.

Attempted Robbery- A victim in the 1100-block of NE Circle Blvd reported as he was leaving work and getting into his truck he found an unknown male already in the truck. The male told the victim to give him the vehicle keys and then brandished a knife. The victim exited the truck and returned to the business and called 911. When officers arrived they located the suspect, a 20-year-old male, La Pine resident, still in the victim’s truck. The male was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

July 29th

Reckless Burning- Officers on routine patrol located a 67-year-old male, no fixed address, near SW 3rd St and SW Chapman Pl who appeared to have started a fire in the median. The male was contacted and stated he was burning his trash. He was cited for reckless burning and outstanding warrants.

Criminal Mischief- Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of NW 29th St after multiple unknown teenage males were seen running from a neighbor’s home. It appears the teenagers egged and threw toilet paper and chocolate syrup on a house in the area.

Reckless Driving- Officers responded to reckless driving complaints of a motorcycle operator in the area of SE Midvale Dr speeding through the area and not wearing a helmet.

Suspicious Circumstance- Officers responded to the intersection of NE Plymouth Cir and NE Sherwood Way after several residents called in hearing what they believed to be gunshots. No evidence of any damage or victims were located after an extensive search of the area with officers and drone team.

July 28th

Fraud- Caller in the 4500-block of NW Big Oak Pl reported fraudulent use on their credit card out of town. Report taken for the victim to give to the bank.

Warrant Arrest- A 65-year-old male, no fixed address, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on active warrants. He was issued citations and released.

Hit and Run- Caller reported their vehicle was sideswiped by a semi-truck in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave. No further description of the semi-truck available.

Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after officers were dispatched to the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a disturbance complaint.

Non-Injury Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a non-injury motor vehicle collision near the intersection of NW Kings Blvd and NW Garfield St after a truck hit a power pole. The intersection was closed for approximately one hour while live wires were repaired.

Suspicious Circumstance- Caller reported possible human remains located in the 100-block of SE Fischer Ln. One bone was located and sent to the medical examiner for consultation and determined to be non-human.

Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle- Victim reported their car was broken into in the 3700-block of SW Bunchberry Ave with assorted property stolen. No suspect identified.
