December 21st

Trespass- A 66-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was located at an apartment complex where he was no longer a tenant. The property management wanted him trespassed from the property. He was trespassed and left without incident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a group of people in a parking lot in the 100-block of SW B Ave. A 29-year-old male, Albany resident, had a confirmed warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to the area of NW 9th St and NW Monroe Ave for a non-injury crash. A driver ran a red light and struck another vehicle. The driver was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.

Unlawful Possession of a Firearm- While investigating a traffic crash, officers learned one of the drivers had a firearm concealed in their unlocked glovebox. The driver, a 28-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was provided the handgun by her boyfriend for protection while delivering food. The female did not have a concealed handgun license. She was issued a citation for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Trespass- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 100-block of NW 4th St after she had been previously trespassed. The female was taken into custody for Trespass II and transported to the jail,

Hit and Run- Victim reported her unoccupied, parked vehicle was struck in a parking lot in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd, causing slight damage.

Warrant Arrest- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on numerous active warrants after being contacted in a business alcove during a trespass complaint.

December 20th

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Identity Theft- An unknown person unlawfully entered an unlocked vehicle in the 700-block of SW 7th St. When the victim realized their wallet was stolen, they learned a credit card had been used at a local business. Case still under investigation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 51-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 500-block of SW 4th St after being told she needed to leave. Additionally, the female had several active warrants. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass- An officer was dispatched to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a subject who had previously stolen from the business and was currently back in the store. The officer was in the area when the caller stated the subject left in a vehicle and requested they be trespassed from the business. The officer located the 46-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and trespassed her from the business.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Criminal Mischief II / Theft II- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW Wake Robin Ave for a report of an ex-boyfriend damaging the caller’s property. The caller reported their ex-boyfriend, a 43-year-old male, Jefferson resident, smashed their windshield and stole a motorized scooter. Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect with the stolen scooter. He was arrested, booked into jail, and the stolen property was returned to the victim.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a business in the 200-block of SW 3rd St for a report of an individual who was writing on the exterior windows. Subject was gone when officers arrived.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 1100-block of SW Ivy Pl and then to the 1600-block of SW 53rd St for the report of damaged inflatable decorations. One caller reported the inflatable was shot with a BB, and at the other scene it appeared the inflatables were attempted to be stolen.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a family member who had kicked in the caller’s door but not entered. No apparent damage was observed on the door, and the caller advised it was broke prior to tonight.

December 19th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 2000-block of SW Brooklane Dr for a group of people setting up tents on the property. Officers contacted a 52-year-old male and a 43-year-old female, both no fixed address, who each had active warrants. They were issued citations.

Fraud / Identity Theft- An officer spoke with a caller who stated an unknown subject took out approximately $2,700 in student loans in their name. The caller disputed the charges and reported the incident to the IRS.

Forgery- An officer responded to a business in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd after they reported a couple purchased merchandise with two fraudulent $100 bills.

Harassment- An officer responded to a harassment complaint in the 100-block of SW 3rd St. The caller reported a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, slapped them a day before. The caller saw the person had been arrested yesterday and wanted to file a report to have the same suspect arrested for their incident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol and contacted a subject in the 200-block of NW 5th St. During the contacted, the officer learned the 67-year-old male, no fixed address, had several warrants for his arrest. The male was issued citations for the warrants and released.

Criminal Trespass II- A caller reported a subject on the property whom they wished to be trespassed. The caller stated they asked the subject to leave, and the subject began screaming and cursing at the caller. An officer arrived on scene and contacted the subject, a 44-year-old female, no fixed address. The officer learned the female had been previously trespassed from the property. The female was arrested, removed from the property, issued a citation and released.

Interfering with a Peace Officer / Warrant Arrest- A detective reported seeing a subject in the 1800-block of NW 9th St whom they knew to be the subject of active warrants. A responding officer went to stop the male, who immediately ran. Officers caught and arrested the subject and identified him as a 39-year-old male, no fixed address. The officers confirmed his state-wide felony warrants. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 4200-block of NW Pintail Pl for a report of individuals who vandalized a neighbor’s inflatable llama.

Suspicious Circumstance- Officers contacted an employee in the 1600-block of NW 9th St who reported two individuals came into the store with black face masks. They appeared to be scared off by other customers arriving and left the area.

December 18th

Trespass- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was once again contacted for trespassing in the 100-block of NW 4th St.

Attempted Assault II / Assault IV- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, assaulted two subjects in the 100-block of SW 1st St. One of the victims was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The male was arrested and lodged at the jail.

Computer Crime- An unidentified male called a Corvallis resident who allowed him access to her computer after she clicked on an alleged Microsoft link. She called the person who stated they were with “Scam Baiter.” However, the phone number returned to someone in Washington, DC. The owner of the phone number had also been scammed. The Corvallis resident was not currently defrauded of any money.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor) / Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers were dispatched to the 6700-block of SW Philomath Blvd for a report of a truck off the road in the ditch. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the driver, a 57-year-old female, Corvallis resident. Officers learned the female was driving with a suspended license at the misdemeanor level. She was arrested for the offense and issued a citation and released.

Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for a report of a female refusing to leave and exhibiting threatening behavior. A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, left as officers were arriving and was issued a trespass notice at the request of staff.

December 17th

Theft- Caller reported the tires and wheels were stolen off their bike while it was locked to a bike rack in the 1400-block of NW Buchanan Ave. No suspect has been identified.

Trespass- An officer responded to a business in the 1400-block of NW 9th St for a report of a possible theft. The caller reported a male appeared to be switching price tags on merchandise inside the business. A 42-year-old male, Foster resident, was identified as the suspect. The male denied switching price tags on merchandise and the officer was unable to develop probable cause to arrest the male for attempted theft. The caller wanted the male trespassed from the business and he was issued a trespass notice.

Theft III- An officer responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a shoplifter in custody. The 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, stole $90 in merchandise and was stopped by Loss Prevention staff. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft III and trespassed from the business.

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of SW 4th St. The female had warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Burglary- Officer discovered a detached garage in the 2700-block of NW Short Ave which looked to be burglarized. Waiting for contact from tenant to determine if anything is missing.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle- Officer located an unoccupied, stolen vehicle in the 900-block of SW 13th St. The vehicle had been reported stolen the previous week from SW Leonard St. The owner was contacted and retrieved the vehicle from the scene after it was processed.

Disorderly Conduct / Interfering with a Peace Officer- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with a Peace Officer after officers responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 300-block of NW 5th St. The suspect resisted being taken into custody and was Tased. He was taken to the local hospital for jail clearance, then booked at the jail.

December 16th

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after he entered a business in the 300-block of SW Jefferson Ave and struck an employee. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation and released.

Open Container- A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of NW 4th St. She had an open can of alcohol. She was issued a citation for open container of alcohol in public.

Suspicious Circumstance- An officer took a report of a suspicious circumstance in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. The caller reported a male and female who were associated with a parked vehicle nearby were seen going under a trailer a business used to store overstock from their store. There was no observed damage and nothing was missing. A case was taken to document the suspicious activity in case they return.

Theft- An unidentified person stole multiple utility covers in the 100-block of SW 8th St. Caller reported they had an issue in the pas of people using faucets in the area, affecting their water bill. They recently installed locking covers over the faucets which were removed and stolen.

Menacing- Officers responded to the 200-block of NW 1st St for a report of a male menacing another male with a knife. A 27-year-old male, Corvallis resident, confronted a 42-year-old male, no fixed address, for throwing items at his sister’s car. The 42-year-old male pulled a knife on the other male and an argument ensued. The suspect was located in the area and taken into custody for Menacing, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Disorderly Conduct II.

Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in regards to an unrelated investigation. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to update his sex offender registration. The male was outside of compliance and issued a citation.

Theft- Caller reported an unknown male attempted to steal merchandise at their business in the 2300-block of NW 9th St. The caller confronted the male and he left the merchandise, but she reported the same male stole $120 in merchandise the previous week. The male was not identified.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a male who threatened the caller and acted like he had a firearm. The suspect was identified as a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, and was located in the area. It was determined the male never had a firearm. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to jail.

Theft- Victim reported the theft of an e-scooter from near their residence in the 2600-block of SW Western Blvd.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after he and another male were contacted on a trespass complaint at a business in the 300-block of NW Harrison Blvd.

December 15th

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, turned himself in on outstanding warrants at the Law Enforcement Center. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft- Two young adults stole food from a local business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The individuals left prior to police contact and have not been identified. The caller did not want to press charges and only wanted the individuals trespassed if they were identified.

Hit and Run- A vehicle pulled out in front of caller in the 2200-block of NW Garfield Ave, causing a crash. The vehicle then left the scene without exchanging information. The caller was able to provide law enforcement with the license plate of the suspect vehicle.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported their bicycle was stolen from a bike rack from the 1400-block of NW Buchanan Ave. No suspect information available.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a female who had been in the bathroom for over an hour screaming. The suspect was identified as a 32-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was issued a trespass notice per the caller’s request and she left the property.

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1100-block of SW 53rd St. The male had 66 warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Theft I- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a theft of $1,000-$2,000 of merchandise which had just occurred. The suspects were reported to be a male and female. The suspects left in a vehicle prior to officer’s arrival and was not located. A short while later, an OSP Trooper located the vehicle on I-5 and conducted a traffic stop. A 39-year-old male and a 34-year-old female, both Portland residents, were identified as suspects and taken into custody. The vehicle had multiple items of merchandise inside that appeared to be stolen from various locations. The vehicle was seized pursuant to a search warrant. The male and female were transported to the Benton County Jail. The male had an active warrant for Theft I as well as a nationwide extraditable warrant out of Virginia through the US Marshals for weapons offenses.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- A 65-year-old male, Woodburn resident, was taken into custody on an active warrant after being contacted on a trespass complaint at the hospital. He was transported to the men’s shelter and released on citations for the warrants.

Trespass / Disorderly Conduct- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespassing after returning to a convenience store where he had been trespassed from earlier in the evening in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd.

December 14th

Failure to Yield- Officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd. The vehicle failed to yield to emergency lights and sirens until it finally pulled into a parking spot in the 5400-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The driver was detained on scene for investigation and identified as a 23-year-old female, exchange student from another country and unaware of specific requirements of drivers related to traffic enforcement by officers. She was released and issued traffic citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a possible trespass complaint at a convenience store in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave. A passerby saw the store clerk engaged in an argument with a customer and called it in. The customer was gone prior to officer arrival and was never identified. The clerk indicated he physically removed the trespasser from the property.

December 13th

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a motor vehicle in the 200-block of NW 1st St. The driver, a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was transported to the jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW 9th St for a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, trespassing at a business. The male had been previously trespassed but wanted to use their services and risked being arrested to do so. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Fraud- An elderly female responded to a text message from an unknown person reporting to be from the Federal Trade Commission. She proceeded to send more than $44,000 to the suspect via cashier’s checks.

Robbery- Officers contacted a caller who reported their family member had been robbed near the intersection of NW 25th St and NW Tyler Ave approximately one hour prior to notifying law enforcement. Officers contacted the victim at their residence and conducted an investigation at the scene of the incident.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male outside screaming and banging on the doors after closing. The 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was detained on scene. Employees did not wish to pursue charges, and he was released with a Trespass Notice.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of HWY 99 and NE Circle Blvd. The drivers were evaluated by medics and did not require transportation. A 22-year-old female, Monmouth resident, was issued a traffic citation.

Public Indecency- Officers responded to the 400-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a male who had exposed himself and urinated on the south side of a business in front of a female passerby. After the female requested he stop, he exposed himself to her again. The 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was located and arrested.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Oak Ave who was the subject of active warrants. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Disorderly Conduct / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a female screaming at customers who had been asked to leave. The 62-year-old female, no fixed address, had been previously trespassed from the located and was arrested. She was with a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants. Both were arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on criminal citations.

Robbery / Interfering / Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer- Officers responded to the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of a female who took some of the caller’s belongings and kicked him a few times during the theft. The 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was located and contacted by officers. She resisted initial detention while kicking at officers during their attempt to place her in handcuffs. Investigation determined she was in possession of the stolen items belonging to the caller. She was lodged at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of an active warrant while investigating a previous call for service. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

December 12th

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW 4th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 27-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 500-block of SW 4th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a citation.

Warrant arrest- An officer contacted a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1500-block of SW Avery Ave regarding an unrelated investigation. During the contact, the male was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation.

Fraud- An officer contacted a victim who received a phone call about missing jury duty. The victim withdrew $1,500 and deposited it with a local business using a provided barcode before realizing it was a scam.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- An officer responded to the 2200-block of NW Harrison Blvd after a subject reported their back passenger’s side window had been broken and $10 in cash was stolen.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of an intoxicated 55-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had several warrants for his arrest. He was issued a citation.

Criminal Trespass II- A loss prevention employee called from the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd to report a cold trespass. The employee stated a 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was previously trespassed earlier in the month. The employee stated they have video of the same female entering the business a couple days prior and wished to pursue criminal charges.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 1700-block of SW 3rd St requesting two people be trespassed from the property. An officer arrived at the location and contacted the two subjects, a 33-year-old male and a 35-year-old female, both no fixed address. Both subjects were trespassed from the property and left the area.

Criminal Trespass- An officer was dispatched to the 300-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a subject sitting at the outside tables, refusing to leave the property. An officer arrived on scene and contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a person refusing to leave after locking themselves in the bathroom. A 40-year-old female, Glendale resident, was escorted out and issued a trespass notice.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) / Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, who was the subject of active warrants near the intersection of NW 2nd St and NW Tyler Ave. He was also in possession of fentanyl. He was arrested and ultimately released on criminal citations.  

December 11th

Robbery- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, entered a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St after being previously trespassed and stole multiple items. The male was confronted and struck the employee with their shoulder as they fled the business. He was located in a nearby business and arrested for Robbery III, Theft III, and Trespass I.

Burglary- An unknown subject unlawfully entered an apartment building’s laundry room in the 1400-block of SW A Ave and tampered with the coin box. The suspect got away with an estimated $40 of change and caused an estimated $500 in damage.

Assault IV- Officers responded to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for a disturbance. They contacted a male who was bleeding from his nose. It seemed apparent the male was punched or engaged in a fight but he did not want to cooperate with law enforcement. There were no independent witnesses to assist in furthering the investigation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 2100-block of NW Fillmore Ave and contacted two subjects. The officer identified the two as a 27-year-old female and a 40-year-old male, both no fixed address. The officer learned both subjects had warrants for their arrest. Both were arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass- A caller in the 1800-block of SW 3rd St called to report a female inside the business refusing to leave. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, inside the business. The female was removed from the property, issued a trespass notice, and released.

Criminal Trespass / Warrant Arrest- An employee called from the 2600-block of NW 9th St to report a subject on the property whom they wanted trespassed. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 26-year-old male, no fixed address. The officers learned the male also had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and a trespass notice for the business and left the area.

Criminal Trespass- A caller reported a subject trespassing in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave. An officer arrived at the apartment complex and located a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, loitering on the property. The male was given a trespass notice and left the area.

Trespass- Officers responded to a building in the 600-block of SW Madison Ave for a burglary alarm. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was located inside and arrested for trespassing.

December 10th

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A vehicle was broken into sometime overnight in the 3800-block of NW Hayes Ave. Several items were stolen.

Theft- A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, stole multiple items from a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. He was later located and issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave after canning in multiple yards. She was issued a citation for an outstanding warrant.

Burglary- Sometime overnight, two unidentified suspects entered a locked laundry machine room at an apartment complex in the 3900-block of NW Whitham Hill Dr. They broke open the coin receptacles and stole all of the loose change.

Criminal Mischief- A caller reported their license plate was damaged sometime overnight in the 3200-block of SE Midvale Dr.

Fraud- Caller reported their credit card number was used to make multiple online purchases. A suspect address in Houston, TX was obtained. Report taken and forwarded to Houston PD.

Theft- Caller reported a package was stolen in the 600-block of NW 2nd St, but that the theft had occurred a few days prior.

Warrant Arrest- A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a citation for outstanding warrants at the Law Enforcement Center. He was also wanted for a theft which had occurred earlier in the day.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of NW 9th St for a subject on the property refusing to leave. Officers arrived at the location and contacted a 60-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was removed from the property, issued a trespass notice, and released.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the 400-block of SW 3rd St to report a subject inside the store who was previously trespassed, urinating in the aisle. Officers arrived as the 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was in the parking lot of the store. The female was contacted, removed from the property, and issued a citation for Criminal Trespass II.

Disorderly Conduct / Criminal Trespass- Multiple passersby called from the 400-block of SW 3rd St to report an intoxicated subject in the roadway, obstructing traffic. Officers arrived in the area and contacted the same 60-year-old female, no fixed address, as the previous two calls for service, once again on the property from which she had been trespassed. Additionally, the female left the parking lot where she was trespassing and was in the roadway with no pants on. The female was arrested and booked into jail.

Disorderly Conduct / Menacing- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for Menacing and Disorderly Conduct after causing a disturbance in front of a restaurant in the 300-block of SW Jefferson Ave.

Found Missing Person- Officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle speeding on NW 9th St and discovered the driver was reported as a missing/endangered person by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office in October of 2025. She was put in contact with her family, and was determined to be fine.

Criminal Mischief- Officers contacted a caller in the 400-block of SE Lilly Ave who noticed their taillight had been broken sometime while they were running errands earlier in the day.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was the subject of an active warrant in the 300-block of NW 3rd St. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 3rd St who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a citation and released.

Trespass- Officers responded to a facility in the 1900-block of NW Highland Dr for a report of a male throwing cans on the front steps. The 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was previously trespassed from the business and was arrested.

December 9th

Menacing- Officers responded to the 900-bock of SW 15th St for a domestic dispute complaint. A female brought a male friend to her apartment to be present while she broke up with her boyfriend. An argument ensued and the boyfriend, a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, threatened the other male with a bat. The male was arrested and taken to jail for menacing.

Trespass- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassed from a business in the 1900-block of NW 9th St.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A vehicle was broken into sometime overnight in the 2200-block of NW Van Buren Ave. Some personal belongings were stolen.

Trespass- A 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was trespassed from a residence in the 1600-block of NW Highland Dr after setting up a tent in the lawn of the property.

Theft- Officers responded to a theft in progress at a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. Loss prevention staff were watching a 55-year-old male, Philomath resident, remove items from their packaging and hide them in his clothing. The male was contacted leaving the store. He admitted to the theft and the property was returned. He was issued a citation for theft and trespassed from the property.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle for driving the wrong way on SW 4th St, near SW Western Blvd. The driver, a 65-year-old female, Monroe resident, admitted to consuming alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl regarding a trespass complaint. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest, and was identified as the suspect in a previous theft at the business. The male was taken into custody for his warrants and the previous theft and transported to the Linn County Jail.

Trespass- A 34-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the parking lot of a business in the 900-block of NW Grant Ave regarding a trespass complaint. The caller wanted the female trespassed from the business. She was issued a trespass notice and left the property.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Victim reported their vehicle was entered while parked in the 2700-block of SW Western Blvd. A window was smashed and a wallet was taken.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Philomath resident, was cited on an active warrant after he was stopped for a bicycle violation near NW 17th St and NW Jackson Ave.

December 8th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to an apartment in the 5300-block of SW Country Club Dr for a domestic disturbance. No probable cause was developed related to the initial complaint, but one of the subjects involved, a 34-year-old male, Albany resident, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Suspicious Circumstance- An officer took a report of a suspicious circumstance in the 1600-block of NW Division St. The caller stated a neighbor has been following her around outside their apartment and purposefully slamming doors and cupboards at night to scare the caller. There was no probable cause for a crime, but a case number was taken to document the concerning behavior.

Elude / Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle / Theft / Motor Vehicle Crash (Non-Injury)- An officer located an ATL (attempt to locate) vehicle from a neighboring jurisdiction. The vehicle was reportedly involved in package thefts in that jurisdiction, and the vehicle was reported as stolen out of Washington. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle in the 900-block of NW Ponderosa Ave. The vehicle eluded and ultimately crashed at a business near NW 9th St and NW Circle Blvd. Two suspects fled from the vehicle. One suspect, the passenger, a 30-year-old male, Sisters resident, was located and arrested. The driver was not located.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the parking lot of a hotel in the 300-block of NW 2nd St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. While being searched, methamphetamine was located in his possession. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 36-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd regarding a camping complaint. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Hit & Run- Caller reported they observed a vehicle back into a parked vehicle and leave the area. Officers searched for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it. The owner of the parked vehicle was contacted and notified of the incident. The caller was unable to get a license plate for the suspect vehicle or identify the driver.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd for a report of a male refusing to leave the bathroom. A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and found to have a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Brownsville resident, was taken into custody on multiple warrants when contacted on a trespass complaint at a grocery store in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and cited on the warrants and for trespass.

Hit & Run- Victim reported their parked vehicle was struck in the 2300-block of NW 13th St by an unknown vehicle sometime overnight. No suspect information.

December 7th

Theft- A bicycle was stolen from the 800-block of NW Calliope Dr sometime in the past few days. There is no suspect information.

Trespass / Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a female refusing to leave and punching a blood pressure machine. A 37-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted and taken into custody for trespassing. While being taken into custody, the female grabbed an officer’s body worn camera and ripped it from their vest, breaking the mount. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A vehicle was broken into sometime overnight in the 900-block of SW Washington Ave. A window was broken on the vehicle, but nothing was taken.

Theft- An unknown suspect stole multiple tools off the patio of an apartment in the 1200-block of SW E Ave sometime overnight.

Theft- A bicycle was stolen in the 200-block of SW Twin Oaks Cir. There was surveillance video in the area.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 5th St for a report of a domestic disturbance between and male and female. There was no crime regarding the initial domestic complaint, but the 33-year-old female, no fixed address, who was involved had multiple warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of SW 3rd St for what was reported as an attempted burglary in progress. The caller reported seeing two males who appeared to be tampering with the backdoor of the business. A 47-year-old male and a 29-year-old male, both no fixed address, were identified as the suspects. There was no evidence to support the males were attempting to break into the business, but they were both issued trespass notices.

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male had a cite and release warrant and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Burglary- Caller reported an unknown person made entry into their residence by kicking their door in, and then running off immediately once they realized the caller was in the residence in the 1600-block of NW 23rd St. The caller waited approximately twenty minutes to report the incident and never observed the suspect. The caller believed the suspect left in a vehicle, but had no description.

Trespass- Officers responded to a hotel in the 400-bock of NW 2nd St for a report of a trespass. The caller reported a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, was inside a customer’s room while the customer was not there. The caller stated the male did not have permission to be in the room, and they wanted him trespassed from the business. There were varying accounts as to whether the male had permission to be in the room, but ultimately he was trespassed from the business and left the area.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 800-block of NW Tyler Ave that was under construction. The caller reported seeing two males enter the residence and then leave quickly when they saw the caller noticed them. Officers found an open door at the residence and cleared the building. No one was found inside the residence, and the property manager was informed of the incident.

Burglary- Caller reported a burglary to a laundry room at an apartment complex in the 1000-block of SW Washington Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody on active warrants after officers responded to a noise complaint in the 800-block of NW Chipmunk Pl. The male was booked at the jail.

December 6th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender / Criminal Trespass- A caller reported a subject locked in the bathroom and threatening people in the 2800-block of NW Daylily Ave. Officers arrived at the park and located a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the location. Officers arrested the male for trespassing and learned he had violated his sex offender registration. The male was arrested, issued a criminal citation, and released.

Criminal Trespass / Violent Conduct- Officers were dispatched to Avery Park for a subject threatening to kill people. Officers arrived at the park and located a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who was previously trespassed from all City parks. The male was arrested, removed from the park, and again released with a citation.

Domestic Dispute / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 500-block of SE Vera Ave, called in by a third party. Officers arrived at the residence and contacted a couple who admitted to having a verbal argument only. The 44-year-old male and 41-year-old female, both Corvallis residents, had active arrest warrants. The male was arrested and booked into Linn County Jail, and the female was issued a citation.

Criminal Trespass II / Open Container- An officer was on patrol when they observed a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, in Central Park with an open container of alcohol. The female had been previously trespassed from all City parks. She was issued a citation for the offenses and released outside the park.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called to report a female on the property who was previously trespassed, with her pants down. Officers arrived at the business in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd and contacted the 58-year-old female, no fixed address. The female was arrested for trespassing and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest / Attempted Assault IV- Officers were dispatched to the 1400-block of NW 9th St for a fight at the business. The caller reported someone punched her husband in the face and then fled the scene, driving south in a vehicle. Officers contacted the victim, who was uninjured. The victim was able to provide the license plate of the suspect vehicle, and officers were able to locate the vehicle and suspect at his registered address. Officers contacted the suspect, a 44-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and arrested him for attempted assault and active warrants.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW 5th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.

December 5th

Burglary- A resident in the 300-block of SW 9th St reported their house was burglarized while they were away. There is no current suspect information.

Trespass- Employees in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave reported a woman acting disruptive was asked to leave, but she refused. She eventually left while screaming. Officers contacted the 32-year-old female, no fixed address, nearby, and issued her a trespass notice at the employee’s request.

Burglary- An employee in the 2900-block of NW Tyler Ave reported coin-operated machines had the coins stolen from them and were damaged in the process.

Theft- An employee in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St reported twenty shopping carts were stolen from the store.

Theft- A person reported a sign which they had created to protest construction noise in downtown Corvallis was stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.

Assault- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, kicked a nurse at a medical facility in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr. She was issued a citation and remained in the hospital.

Argument- Officers were dispatched to a reported domestic violence incident in the 2200-block of NW Jackson Ave. No crimes were committed in the incident.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a 58-year-old female, no fixed address, outside a business with no pants on. Officers arrived at the business and contacted the female and trespassed her from the restaurant. The female left the property without further issue.

Warrant Arrest / Criminal Trespass II- A caller in the 2600-block of NW Highland Dr reported a previously trespassed subject in the area, throwing things. Officers arrived in the area and located a 32-year-old female, no fixed address, a short distance away. During the contact officers learned the female had warrants for her arrest. She was removed from the location and issued citations for the warrants and released.

Criminal Mischief- Officers on routine patrol in the area of SW 1st St and SW Madison Ave located some construction fencing that appeared to be tampered with. No one was located in the construction area.

December 4th

Trespass- A 58-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for returning to a property in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave from which she had been previously trespassed.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a business in the 1900-block of NW Four Acre Pl from which he had been previously trespassed. He was located on the property and issued a criminal citation.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A vehicle was broken into in the 1000-block of SW Grove St. Several items reported missing.

Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 100-block of SW 2nd St.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer- A 67-year-old female, Albany resident, went into a restaurant in the 1100-block of NE 2nd St to close an open tab from a previous visit and was visibly intoxicated and refusing to leave the property. Officers arrived on scene as the female was trying to drive away from the business, intoxicated. The female was arrested for DUII, and during the arrest kicked the arresting officer in the knee. The female was booked into jail.

Assault- A victim called to report an unknown male pushed or punched him to the ground and then attempted to kick him. The caller stated he was able to block the kick, and the unknown male then ran from the area. Officers searched the area of the 300-block of NW 1st St but were unable to locate the suspect.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a female claiming people were threatening to kill her. Officers contacted the female and determined there were no threats made, and she was not in any danger. During the investigation, officers learned the subject, a 41-year-old female, Burns resident, had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation and released.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 10th St for a report of a female who had just pushed a male out of his walker while gathering her belongings and yelling. Subsequent to the investigation, the 41-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested and later released with a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- During a call for service in the 100-block of NW 10th St, a 24-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted and found to be the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and released.

Elude- Officers observed a vehicle speeding near NW Grant Ave and NW Kings Blvd and attempted to perform a traffic stop. The vehicle eluded officers, and was not pursued due to public safety considerations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 3200-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male refusing to leave. The 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a trespass notice at the request of the business and left the area.

December 3rd

Trespass- Caller reported multiple people inside a locked pool bathroom at an apartment complex in the 900-block of SW 15th St. The individuals inside left the bathroom prior to officer’s arrival and were not identified.

Trespass- Caller reported a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was back on their property after being previously trespassed. The female suspect was contacted and issued a citation in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 3200-block of SE Midvale Dr for a report of a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter. There was no crime, but a 61-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was contacted on scene was found to have a warrant for arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 500-block of SE Chapman Pl. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Attempted Assault IV (x2) / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of NW Reiman Ave for a report of a male fighting with security officers. When officers arrived on scene, the 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was walking away from the scene. Officers went to stop and detained the male who resisted, tensed up, and tried to pull away. The male was eventually taken into custody. Security employees reported the subject charged them for no discernible reason and punched them before walking from the scene. The male was booked at the jail.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a subject asleep on the property. Officers arrived at the property and contacted a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, removed her from the property, and issued her a trespass notice.

Vandalism- Victim reported the window of their vehicle was broken out, but nothing appeared to be missing. The vehicle was parked in the 300-block of NW 26h St.

December 2nd

Trespass- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 4th St for a trespass. A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was located on the property who had been previously trespassed. She was issued a citation for trespassing.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 1800-block of SW Whiteside Dr for a trespass complaint. A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was on the property and being aggressive towards staff. The male was issued a trespass notice and left.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of NW 11th St. The caller reported their estranged father was trespassing on the property. The caller stated they confronted the male, a 59-year-old male, no fixed address, with a shotgun, and the male fled. He was not located in the area.

Hit and Run- A Community Services Officer took a report of a hit and run which occurred in the 1200-block of NW 10th St. A new, black truck with dealer plates hit the caller’s car and fled the area.

Fraud- An officer took a report of a fraud which occurred in the 300-block of NW 12th St. The caller reported they had been sent fraudulent checks with instructions to cash the checks and send money back to the sender. The caller recognized this as a scam and refused, and was now receiving threats from the sender.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St, A 65-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was unable to pay his tab. He was trespassed at the request of staff.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the 400-block of NW 10th St. A vehicle attempted to turn left and struck a bicyclist, who sustained minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield to a bike in a bike lane.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave for a possible domestic disturbance. A 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted and had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released. There was no probable cause for a crime related to the initial call for service.

Hit and Run- Caller reported another vehicle side-swiped their vehicle on NW Van Buren Ave, near NW 1st St, breaking the mirror and causing damage to their bumper. The suspect vehicle continued on Hwy 34 and was not located.

Elude / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the area of Hwy 99W and NW Elks Dr to attempt to locate a vehicle which was eluding Monmouth PD. Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies located the vehicle north of Corvallis, but it eluded them as well. The vehicle continued into Corvallis and was spiked at NW 4th St and NW Buchanan Ave, while it was traveling approximately 90-95 miles per hour. The vehicle continued into downtown, where it crashed into a vehicle at NW Monroe Ave and NW 4th St. The vehicle fled the scene of the crash and continued onto SW Philomath Blvd, where it sideswiped a semi-truck while trying to pass and was rendered inoperable. The suspect was identified as a 30-year-old male, Independence resident, and he was taken into custody. The male was charged with Elude, DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver (x2), and Interfering with a Peace Officer. A search warrant was authorized to seize a blood sample from the male to identify his Blood Alcohol Content. While at the hospital, the male attempted to spit on a doctor, and was additionally charged with Attempted Aggravated Harassment. The male was then lodged at the jail.

Robbery / Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for robbery after committing a shoplift at a grocery store in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd, and assaulting loss prevention staff while attempting to leave. She was apprehended a short distance away, and it was discovered she had active warrants for her arrest. She was booked at the jail.

Trespass- A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after returning to a motel in the 1100-block of NW 9th St where had been previously trespassed. He was booked at the jail.

December 1st

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported that around 2:30 AM, a group of juveniles were banging on their door, ringing their doorbell, and kicked over an irrigation cover, breaking it. This incident occurred in the 2700-block of NW Huckleberry Dr.

Burglary- An officer responded to the 1300-block of NW 12th St for a cold burglary. The residence was vacant and being managed by a property management company. An unknown suspect entered the residence and stole the hot water heater.

Theft- Caller reported their front license plate was stolen in the 1000-block of SW Sorrel Pl. There is no suspect information.

Theft- A bike was stolen sometime overnight in the 600-block of NW 5th St.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle at the Hwy 34 Bypass for a traffic violation. The passenger of the vehicle, a 42-year-old male, Albany resident, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was booked into the jail.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Caller reported their vehicle was broken into while it was parked outside their residence in the 700-block of SW 10th St.

Attempted Burglary- Caller reported the lock on the shed at their residence in the 2800-block of NW Polk Ave had been tampered with. There were metal shavings on the ground, indicating someone had attempted to break into the shed, but entry was never actually made.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a residence in the 1600-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a neighborhood dispute. Caller reported a 64-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was pounding on her door, causing a disturbance in relation to an argument they had earlier in the evening. The female was located on the property and taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II. The female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a citation due to jail capacity.

Bicycle Theft- Victim reported a theft of a vehicle while they were inside a gym in the 1800-block of SW 3rd St.

Disorderly Conduct- A 64-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct after officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1600-block of NW Harrison Blvd. The female was once again causing a disturbance. Upon returning to her residence, the female continued to engage in disorderly conduct. She was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

Trespass I / Theft III- A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for trespass and theft after returning to a grocery store in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd, where he had already been trespassed from earlier in the week. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with a citation.

November 30th

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted two people in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd. A 36-year-old male and 58-year-old female, both no fixed address, both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. They were each issued citations.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A Community Services Officer took a report of a cold UEMV in the 100-block of SW Alexander Ave. Sometime over the night, the caller’s vehicle was entered, and items were taken.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW 35th St for a suspicious person. Staff members at the location reported seeing a male looking through the windows at a group of females with his hands down his pants. A 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the area and matched the description provided by the caller. There was no probable cause developed for any crimes, but the male was trespassed from the location.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a trespass. A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was asked to leave by staff but refused to do so. He was issued a trespass notice.

Theft / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a theft of merchandise which had just occurred. The suspected was identified as a 23-year-old male, no fixed address, who was located in the area with the stolen property on him. Additionally, the male had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody for Theft III and the warrant and transported to the jail.

UEMV- Caller reported their vehicle was broken into while it was parked outside a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Trespass- Caller reported a male was at his business in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd and was refusing to leave, despite being asked multiple times to do so. The suspect left prior to officer’s arrival, but was identified as a 44-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was located in the area and issued a trespass notice.

Shoplift- Caller reported a cold shoplift at their business in the 2600-block of NW 9th St. The suspect was not identified.

Trespass- Caller reported a male was refusing to leave their business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St after causing a disturbance with kitchen staff. The suspect was identified as a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, and was located in the area and trespassed from the business.

Discharging a Firearm- A resident of a townhouse complex in the 1200-block of SW 53rd St returned home after being gone for several days and found a bullet hole in his wall and ceiling. The bullet was discovered to have been fired by a neighbor, a 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who admitted he was drunk and toying with the handgun several days earlier when it discharged. He was charged with Discharging a Firearm and the gun was seized.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for an active warrant after being contacted in the skate park after hours. The male was booked at the jail.

UEMV- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was caught breaking into a vehicle in the Fire Station parking lot in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd. The male was transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for acting as though he was going to assault people outside a grocery store in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd.

November 29th

Assist Other Agency- Officers assisted Philomath PD and OSU PD with a threat complaint where a Corvallis resident allegedly emailed OSU stating he had planted five bombs in Philomath and the OSU Campus buildings, and then planned to do a mass shooting. Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was refusing to leave the bathroom of a business in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male had previously been trespassed from the location and was arrested for Criminal Trespass II.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers contacted the same 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 700-block of SW Madison Ave for a complaint of disorderly conduct. The male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and Theft III and transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct / Harassment- A caller in the 1600-block of NW Harrison Blvd reported their neighbor was screaming and yelling and threw a beer at their vehicle, hitting their juvenile son in the face with the liquid. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect, a 64-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who appeared visibly intoxicated. The female was arrested and booked at the jail.

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of NW 9th St for a subject on the property who refused to leave. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who was still on the property. The female was told by officer she was trespassing and left the area.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of a subject screaming and yelling at people in the parking lot. An officer arrived on scene and contacted a 67-year-old female, no fixed address, in the parking lot. Multiple witnesses reported the disturbance, and the female was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Adams Ave. The bicyclist, a 56-year-old male, Albany resident, was arrested on an active warrant and released with a criminal citation.

November 28th

Theft II / Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl to report a theft suspect leaving the business with more than $300 of merchandise. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect, a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, nearby. The male was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation for Theft III, and trespassed from the business.

Warrant Arrest- Caller reported a suspicious subject in the 200-block of NW 3rd St, peering into doors and windows and “fiddling” with fire extinguishers. Officers responded to the area and contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, and learned he had multiple active warrants for his arrest. He was issued citations for the warrants and released.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a shoplift which had occurred approximately two-and-a-half hours prior to the call for service.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 500-block of SE Chapman Pl for what was initially reported as an argument. No probable cause for enforcement was generated from the initial investigation, but a 36-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation and left the property.

Violent Conduct / Carrying a Concealed Weapon- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 3rd St for a report of a male holding a gun near his head and looking at it in the area. The male was located in a business parking lot and detained after he produced the gun in the presence of officers. The gun was determined to be a realistic looking BB gun. The 41-year-old male, Illinois resident, said he was playing with the gun because he thought it was funny. He was arrested for Violent Conduct and Carrying a Concealed Weapon and transported to the jail.

November 27th

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of an unknown female who was inside the caller’s vehicle. The caller reported the female was refusing to get out of the vehicle. A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and contacted by officers. The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center, where she was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr during an unrelated investigation. The male was found to have a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Violent Conduct- Officers were dispatched to the 4500-block of SW West Hills Rd for a fight in the parking lot of a church. Officers arrived on scene and contacted four males, all of whom were involved in the physical fight. Officers interviewed all four and other witnesses in the area, but were unable to gain consistent statements from anyone in the area about what caused the fight or instigated it. All four males were issued citations for Violent Conduct and released.

Warrant Arrest- While on an unrelated call for services in the 4500-block of SW West Hills Rd, officers contacted a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers issued him a citation and released him.

Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who was tampering with the business’s property and reportedly throwing newspapers around. Suspect was located at another nearby business trying the door and knocking on it. An officer contacted the male who did not wish to cooperate. The officer detained the male, who refused to identify himself. He was subsequently identified with assistance from another agency. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

November 26th

Trespass / Resisting Arrest- Officers responded to the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of a trespass. A 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was on the property refusing to leave. After multiple failed attempts by officers to get the male to leave voluntarily, he was taken into custody. The male was transported to the hospital for an intoxication evaluation before being booked in the jail.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 100-block of NW 4th St for a trespass. A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassed from the location. She was also issued citations for outstanding warrants.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to the 3500-block of NE Lancaster St for a verbal domestic dispute. Neighbors reported hearing yelling and loud noise coming from the apartment. Nothing physical occurred, and the residents were issued an SRN.

Trespass- Officers responded to the library for a report of a male trespassing after violating library rules. A 65-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued a trespass notice.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- An officer took a report of a UEMV in the 900-block of SW 15th St. A vehicle was broken into sometime over night and a backpack was stolen. No suspect information at this time.

Disorderly Conduct / Theft / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Resisting Arrest- Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 400-block of SW Adams Ave. A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, walked up to a construction crew, began yelling and cursing at them, and stole a bundle of fiber optic cable off the back of a work truck. When officers arrived, the female attempted to run a short distance before being detained. She resisted being detained and continued resisting throughout the contact with her, including at the hospital during a jail clearance evaluation. The female was placed in a WRAP restraint and transported to the jail.

Criminal Trespass II / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- A caller reported they detained a trespasser inside a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the employee who reported the suspect, a 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had previously been trespassed from the business. Officers contacted the male suspect and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and during the search, officers found methamphetamine on him. The male was removed from the location and issued citations for the offenses.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Motor Vehicle Crash (Non-Injury) / Reckless Driving- A 42-year-old female, Jefferson resident, was arrested for DUII after being involved in a traffic crash where she rear-ended another vehicle at a stoplight at the intersection of NW Harrison Blvd an NW 2nd St. She was booked at the jail.

Trespass / Theft- A 42-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a trespass and theft after returning to a convenience store in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd and stealing merchandise. She was booked at the jail.

Shoplift- A convenience store clerk in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd reported a male suspect stole two cases of soda from the store. The clerk managed to recover the stolen items from the suspect, who fled on foot and forgot his bicycle at the store.

November 25th

Theft- An officer took a report of a cold theft in the 300-block of SW Goodnight Ave. The caller reported a number of their items had been stolen sometime last summer. Some of the items the caller reported as stolen were located by the officer. It is unclear at this time if there was actually a theft, or if some items were just misplaced.

Trespass- An officer responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a trespass complaint. A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was in the business after having been previously trespassed. She was issued a citation for trespassing.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A Community Services Officer tool a report of a cold UEMV in the 2500-block of SW Western Blvd. Sometime over the night, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a bag containing a laptop and iPad. No suspect information at this time.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 400-block of SE Atwood St for a trespass complaint. A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, entered a residence without permission, sat on the couch, and smoked a cigarette. The female was taken into custody and booked into the jail.

Theft- A CSO took a report of a cold theft in the 700-block of SW 7th St. An e-scooter was stolen.

Hit & Run- Caller reported their vehicle was struck by a box truck while it was parked outside a business in the 500-block of SW 2nd St. The driver of the box truck was identified as a 34-year-old male, Eugene resident, and he was unaware he had struck the parked vehicle. An information exchange was conducted, and no other enforcement action was taken.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 28-year-old female, no fixed address, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 300-block of SW B Ave. The officer recognized her passenger, a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, and knew he had warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody for the warrant and methamphetamine was located in his possession. The female had a warrant for her arrest as well and was taken into custody. Both subjects were transported to the jail.

UEMV- Caller reported her vehicle was broken into sometime within the last 48 hours while it was parked outside her residence in the 900-block of SW Washington Ave. No suspect information available.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a trespass. The caller reported a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the property was back. The male was located while still on the property and was taken into custody for Trespass II. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a trespass. The caller reported a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the property was back. The male was located while still on the property and was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II.

November 24th

Attempted Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- A Community Services Officer took a report of an attempted UEMV which occurred in the 2900-block of NW Lancaster St. There was video of the suspect attempting to open the door of a vehicle. The CSO was on patrol later in the morning and observed a subject matching the description riding a bike downtown. The 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was wearing the same unique backpack, hat, and boots as seen in the video. The male was contacted and detained by officers. He was booked into the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- An officer responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a disorderly conduct complaint. A male suspect was contacted by loss prevention staff after his card was declined. The male was threatening and walked towards the loss prevention officer with clenched fists, as if to fight. The male suspect left the store without any merchandise and was not located in the area.

Firearms Denial- An officer responded to the 1500-block of SW 53rd St for a firearms denial. A 64-year-old male, Corvallis resident, attempted to purchase a firearm in 2023, and the background check was completed yesterday with a denial. Due to the statute of limitations being up, the case was discontinued.

Theft- An officer took a report of a cold theft in the 400-block of NW Elks Dr. A resident of a facility reported she believed employees were entering her room and taking items, including checks. The facility has received multiple complaints from this individual in the past and has already changed her locks on multiple occasions at her request.

Burglary- An officer responded to a report of a cold burglary at a business in the 300-block of SW Western Blvd. Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect broke out a window to the business and stole a security camera.

Theft- Caller reported a theft of a package from their residence in the 4200-block of NW Duniway Dr. No suspect identified.

Trespass- Caller reported a female was inside her place of employment in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd who had been previously trespassed. The suspect was identified as a 60-year-old female, no fixed address, and was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Trespass II.

Shoplift- Caller reported an unknown male stole alcohol from a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. The male was not located nor identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on an active parole warrant after being contacted behind a business in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave. He was booked at the jail.

November 23rd

Attempted Assault / Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the area of SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd for an assault which had just occurred. The caller was in their vehicle when a male and female were standing in the street, blocking traffic. The caller rolled their window down and told them to get out of the road. The 55-year-old male, no fixed address, approached the driver’s window, yelled profanity at the caller, and punched the caller through the open window of the vehicle. The incident was captured on cellphone by the caller. The male was booked into jail.

Trespass- An officer responded to a hotel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St for a trespass complaint. A 67-year-old female, no fixed address, was in a room refusing to leave. She was issued a trespass notice and left the property.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd for a traffic crash involving a vehicle and an electric scooter. The driver of the vehicle was turning south on SW 4th St from SW Western Blvd and did not see the scooter crossing the sidewalk.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to a business in the 2200-block of NW 9th St for a report of a hit and run. The caller reported a female suspect sideswiped his vehicle while it was in the drive-thru of the business. The 54-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was located at her residence in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd. She stated she was the one who was struck by an unknown driver, despite multiple witness statements to the contrary. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave. Officers determined the female had an active warrant for her arrest. She was booked at the jail.

November 22nd

Domestic Disturbance- Multiple callers reported an argument between two people, including yelling in the street, in the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr. A male involved in the argument was reported to be throwing rocks at a vehicle driving away. The male was contacted and denied anything physical and denied throwing rocks. The female subject in the argument left the scene prior to officer arrival and did not answer calls. No probable cause for enforcement was developed.

Domestic Disturbance- Caller reported a male in front of her home in the 300-block of SE Park Ave who would not leave. Officers contacted the 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and learned he was a former boyfriend of the caller. The male stated he was asked by the caller to drive her around to complete errands and an argument ensued over gas money. There was no probable cause for enforcement, but at the homeowner’s request, the male was trespassed from the residence.

Fraud- Caller in the 3200-block of SW Chintimini Ave reported he was befriended online by a person purporting to be in China. Caller sent the online friend $1,000. The scammer sent him a check to repay him, but it was fraudulent.

Trespass- A business in the 6600-block of SW Philomath Blvd called to report an intoxicated male on the property refusing to leave. A 43-year-old male, Philomath resident, was contacted and appeared highly intoxicated. Corvallis Fire Department medics responded to the scene to evaluate the subject. After determining no medical need, the male was issued a trespass notice and provided a courtesy ride to his home by the officer.

Interfering with a Peace Officers / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A caller in the 400-block of NW 2nd St reported a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, assaulted her, causing injury. Officers responded to the location and found the described male outside the building. Officers stopped the male and told him he was being detained, however, he was uncooperative and resisted being placed into handcuffs. A brief struggle was needed to detain him. Once the male was taken into custody, officers were able to continue the investigation into the assault. Officers interviewed both subjects but were unable to determine who began the physical confrontation. Officers located methamphetamine on the male when he was detained. The male was removed from the location, issued citations for both above listed offenses, and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 26-year-old male, Salem resident, near the intersection of SW 45th Pl and SW Country Club Dr who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Special Response Notice- Officers located a vehicle parked perpendicularly in the roadway of the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Cir. A 39-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was issued a citation for storing property in a public way and the residence was issued an SRN.

Assault- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of an assault which had just occurred. A male advised a group of three people came up to him, two of them distracted him, and the third punched him before the group fled approximately 15 minutes prior to law enforcement notification of the incident.

November 21st

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1400-block of NW 20th Pl. During the contact, an officer determined he had an active warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- A 34-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 300-block of SW 4th St. An officer recognized her from previous contacts and determined she had a warrant for her arrest. She was arrested and booked into the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of NW Division St and NW Cleveland Ave. The caller reported the driver was “passed out” in the vehicle. Officers arrived at the scene and contacted the driver, a 28-year-old male, Corvallis resident. During the contact, officers learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male also admitted to smoking fentanyl before the crash. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 4500-block of NW Big Oak Pl for an argument. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was identified as part of the argument. During the investigation, officers learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. Additionally, officers learned the male drove to the location and was visibly intoxicated. The male was arrested for DUII and the active warrant. He was booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- An alarm company called to report subjects were on a business’s property in the 700-block of NW Buchanan Ave. Officers arrived in the area and located a 43-year-old female, no fixed address. Officers learned the female had several active warrants for her arrest. She was arrested and booked into jail.
