April 28th

Trespass / Theft / Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, entered a backyard in the 500-block of NW 18th St and stole bags of refundable cans valued at about $20. The male attempted to alter his appearance by changing his clothes, ditching the cans and his bicycle, but his efforts were in vain. He was apprehended and found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest and was transported to the jail.

Violent Conduct- A caller reported a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, shouting at customers inside a business in the 800-block of NW 9th St. The male refused to identify himself. He was arrested and trespassed from the business.

Assault- A 34-year-old female, no fixed address, randomly punched a woman in the head while she was out for walk. Multiple witnesses confirmed the attack was unprovoked. The female was located and arrested.

Theft– Caller reported he was contacted online by a female, and she sent him $2,000 through PayPal, then requested he send the money back to her through Bitcoin, which he did. The caller’s PayPal account has negative balance now and PayPal is charging him for the negative balance. The caller stated the female is from outside the country and she was not identified.

Theft– Caller reported her son’s cellphone was stolen a few days ago and it was pinging at a residence near the 1900-block of NW Beca Ave. The residence the phone was pinging at was vacant and multiple residents were contacted in the area, but the phone was not located.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers responded to Central Park for a report of a male throwing items toward the road near where people were walking. A 35-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and located in the area. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and Offensive Littering and transported the Law Enforcement Center, where he was issued a citation.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a female lying in the road and blocking traffic. A 26-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and was under the influence of a controlled substance. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Telephonic Harassment– A disgruntled customer called and made several threats to a business in the 1400-block of NW 9th St after he was unhappy with the service he was provided. The male called multiple times while the officer was on scene speaking with the reporting person. The suspect was possibly identified as a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, and was contacted by the officer by phone. The male was told stop calling the business or he would be arrest for Telephonic Harassment.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several Corvallis Municipal Court warrants after being contacted in the 1200-block of NW 10th St.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several Corvallis Municipal Court warrants after being contacted in the 2700-block of SW Western Blvd.

April 27th

Reckless Endangering- A caller reported her ex-husband was intoxicated and possibly driving with their 13-year-old son in the vehicle. The vehicle was located, and the juvenile was driving while the intoxicated suspect was in the passenger seat. The suspect, a 51-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was very intoxicated. He had compelled the boy to drive in order to go get marijuana and cigarettes. The male was arrested and taken to the jail.  

Trespass- A caller reported a 60-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing inside the bathroom of a business in the 100-block of SW Cummings Ave. The male was found by officers still inside the bathroom and covered in his own feces. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- An unidentified suspect vandalized the victim’s bicycle in the 1700-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr.

Warrant Arrest- After observing a traffic violation, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300-block of NW 2nd St. They contacted the driver, a 46-year-old female, no fixed address, who had an outstanding Albany Municipal Court warrant and a suspended license. Per the court's request, the driver was issued a citation in lieu of custody for her warrant and released.

Criminal Mischief- Vandalism reported at a residence in the 1000-block of NW 11th St, where an unknown suspect threw a brick through the front window of the residence then fled on foot. 

 Warrant Arrest- A 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on arrest warrants after being contacted in the 2500-block NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant after being contacted in the 2500-block NW Kings Blvd.   

April 26th

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, who was causing a disturbance in the downtown area. The male was contacted in the 300-block of SW 4th St. Officers discovered he had two warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody, transported to the police station, and released with citations.

Criminal Mischief– Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Madison Ave for the report of a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, yelling and throwing items inside of a coffee shop. Officers made contact with the female and placed her into custody. She damaged items in the store. She was transported to the police station and later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 52-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd. She was reported to be trespassing on the property. Officers discovered she had warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. Officers discovered the male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was wanted in connection with a theft earlier in the week. He was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Careless Driving- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Hayes Ave for a non-injury vehicle crash. A 50-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was issued traffic citations for Careless Driving and Driving Without a License stemming from investigation on scene.

Trespass II– Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a previously trespassed 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who had returned. The male was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Trespass II– Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a previously trespassed 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who had returned. The male was arrested and transported to the jail where he was lodged. 

Trespass II / Assault IV Domestic– Officers detained a male who had trespassed in a restricted area at the Law Enforcement Center. The 29-year-old male, Salem resident, had blood on his shirt, and investigation led officers to a business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St. Staff at the business indicated the male had been kicked out after getting into arguments with his girlfriend and pushing her. While officers were on scene speaking to staff, the girlfriend returned to the business and officers located a vehicle associated with the two. The girlfriend was uncooperative in the investigation, but ultimately provided a statement indicating that she had attacked him. This was inconsistent with physical evidence and injuries observed during the investigation. The male was arrested for Trespass II and Assault IV Domestic.

April 25th

Possession of a Controlled Substance / Illegal Camping– Officers made contact with a 21-year-old female and 34-year-old male, both no fixed address, in possession of methamphetamine and illegally camping in the 200-block of NW 1st St. Both were cited in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave for the report of a 38-year-old male, Roseburg resident, who was running at multiple people and challenging them to fight. He was contacted by officers nearby and was taken into custody. Officers discovered he was arrested for a DUII the previous night and was still intoxicated. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody in the 100-block of NW Tyler Ave. He was later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 56-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody in the 100-block of NW Tyler Ave. He was later released with a citation.

Attempted Burglary– Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of NW Buchanan Ave after a caller discovered a male who had cut through a fence line and then cut a lock securing a door. The caller surprised the male in the act, and he fled the area.

Theft– Officers contacted a caller in the 1300-block of SW E Ave for a report of an electric bicycle that was stolen earlier in the day.

Theft– Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a shoplifter who was caught by loss prevention. The 31-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to a residence in the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr for a reported road rage incident. Both callers contacted 911, but officers were unable to develop probable cause for enforcement action based on investigation on scene. A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted during the incident who was the subject of an active warrant. She was arrested and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers performed a traffic stop in the parking lot of a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. A 35-year-old female, Lebanon resident, who was a passenger in the vehicle was arrested on an active warrant. She was ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to a business in the 200-block of NW 1st St for a report of a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who was refusing to leave. The male was the subject of multiple municipal court warrants and was arrested.

April 24th

Stolen Vehicle– Officers were dispatched to the 3600-block of SW Deon Dr for the report of a stolen moped. There was no suspect information.

Burglary– Officers were dispatched to a cold burglary in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd. An unknown suspect stole multiple items from the location.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, stemming from a response to a business in the 700-block of NW Buchanan Ave. who was the subject of an active warrant. She was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on criminal citations.

Theft I / Unlawful Entry Motor Vehicle / Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a backpack taken out of a customer’s vehicle. A male was later located near the intersection of NW 7th St. and NW Monroe Ave. who appeared to be in possession of the backpack. The 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was detained. Subsequent to investigation he was arrested for an active warrant, Theft I, and UEMV.

Found Property– While on an unrelated call for service, a passerby turned in a cell phone to officers that had been found in the area of the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Warrant Arrest– Officers performed a traffic stop in the 6700-block of SW Plymouth Dr. A 56-year-old male, Philomath resident, and a 35-year-old female, Eddyville resident, were arrested on active warrants.

Hit and Run– Officers contacted a caller who reported they had been involved in a hit and run vehicle crash near the intersection of NW 11th St and NW Monroe Ave approximately two months ago.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Attempted Assault IV / Disorderly Conduct II / Criminal Mischief II– Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a fight in progress. A 38-year-old male, Roseburg resident, was detained on scene. He was lodged at the jail.

Burglary– Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 25th St for a report of a burglary that had occurred in the last 30-45 minutes.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to the 1200-block of NW 10th St for a report of a suspicious male. The 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested on an active warrant. Investigation on scene did not lead to criminal charges and he was ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– Officers on routine patrol located a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks near the intersection of NW 6th St and NW Harrison Blvd. The driver was identified as a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident. Subsequent to investigation on scene the male was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangering.

Warrant Arrest– Officers on routine patrol contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SE Bridgeway Ave. The male was arrested on an active warrant, and ultimately issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr after the male had been inside of a nearby facility causing a disturbance. The male was arrested, and later released on a criminal citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– Officers on routine patrol located a wrong way driver near NW Harrison Blvd and NW 4th St who ran into a tree stump. A 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the driver. Subsequent to investigation on scene he was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.

Special Response Notice– Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 25th St for a report of loud music. The residence was issued an initial response SRN.

April 23rd

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 26-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW Jefferson Ave. The female had multiple felony warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Trespass- Officers contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing on a property in the 1800-block if NE Four Acre Pl. The male was taken into custody and released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest / Open Container- Officers made contact with a 66-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW Jackson Ave who had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation. During that same contact, a 24-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited in lieu of custody for an open container for drinking in public.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW Monroe Ave for the report of a male causing a disturbance in the area by yelling and banging on property. The suspect, a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old female, Scio resident, came into the Law Enforcement Center to turn herself in on a warrant. She was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of NW 10th St for the report of a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property. Officers made contact with the female and discovered she had warrants for her arrest. She was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to the 1400-block of NW 20th St for a report of an argument between a male and female. The male left prior to officer’s arrival, but the 34-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was still on scene. There was no crime involving the argument, but the female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft– Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a theft that just occurred. Loss prevention officers stopped a male outside the business trying to steal a shopping cart with several items and he left prior to officer’s arrival after he was confronted by loss prevention. A 36-year-old male, no fixed address, was located in the area and identified as the suspect. The male was taken into custody for Theft and during a search of his person, Psilocybin mushrooms were located on him as well and he was transported to jail.

Theft– Caller reported their bike was stolen from outside their residence in the 800-block of NW Calliope sometime in the last two days. There was no video surveillance of the incident, and the suspect was not identified.

Attempted Theft– Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a reported attempted theft. The caller reported a male came into the store and removed a $600 fuel pump from the shelf. The male went to customer service to attempt to return the pump for cash. The manager reviewed video surveillance and saw the male entered the store without the pump. The suspect was identified as a 49-year-old male, Portland resident, and he was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Attempted Theft II.

Trespass– Officers responded to a residence in the 600-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a 36-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had returned to the residence after being verbally trespassed earlier in the day. The female was issued a Trespass Notice and left the property.

April 22nd 

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle- A caller reported a trailer was stolen from a business in the 1000-block of NW 5th St sometime after the first week of January. No suspect information identified.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 51-year-old male, no fixed address, in Riverfront Park who had outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Violent Conduct- An intoxicated 29-year-old female, no fixed address, was causing a ruckus near NW 9th St and NW Buchanan Ave. She was accosting bus passengers, urinated herself and was waving her underwear around. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Violent Conduct.

Trespass– Officers responded to Central Park for a report of a male being in the park after previously being trespassed. A 58-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the park, and it was confirmed the male was trespassed. He was taken into custody for Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest– A 32-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the parking lot of a business in the 700-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male had warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest– A 67-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at the Skate Park. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass / Resisting Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance- Officers responded to a trespass complaint at a residence in the 4400-block of NW Appletree Pl. The resident invited the suspect, a 28-year-old female, no fixed address, to his residence, and when she started acting erratically, he asked her to leave. She refused, and subsequently locked herself in his bathroom. When officers arrived, she was non-compliant and resistive and was ultimately restrained in a WRAP device. She was transported to the hospital for jail clearance, and then booked at the Benton County Jail.

Criminal Trespass- A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for Criminal Trespass after returning to a hotel in the 300-block of NW 2nd St where he had been previously trespassed and arrested multiple times before. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 64-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on a warrant after being contacted in the area of NW 1st St and NW Harrison Blvd.

April 21st

Criminal Mischief- An unidentified suspect kicked in a door to a business in the 200-block of NW 1st St. Nothing was taken from the business and no other damage was caused to the property.

 Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to a 911 hang up call. It was learned there was a domestic dispute. The female claimed she and her boyfriend were pushing each other. She claimed he threatened to kill her, but she did not want anything done and did not want information regarding a restraining order.

Forgery- An unidentified suspect uttered a counterfeit $50 bill at a coffee shop in the 5300-block of SW Philomath Blvd.

Theft / Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card / ID Theft- An unidentified suspect stole the victim’s wallet and used one of the stolen credit cards to attempt an online purchase. The card was already cancelled, and the victim did not suffer any loss.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a female yelling and threatening construction workers and tearing vegetation out of the ground. A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, matching the description of the suspect was contacted in the area. The female was intoxicated, and she was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Shoplift– An unknown male stole merchandise from a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St. The male was not located or identified.

Theft– An officer responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd or a report of a female in custody for shoplifting by a loss prevention officer. A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was caught stealing over $400 in merchandise from the store. The female was taken into custody for Theft II and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest– A 60-year-old male and a 43-year-old female, both no fixed address, were contacted in the 28000-block of the Hwy 34 Bypass. Both the male and female had warrants for their arrest and were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after a caller reported he was trespassing at a motel in the 300 block of NW 2nd St where he had been previously trespassed from. He was transported to the Law Enforcement center and released with a citation for the trespass. Approximately thirty minutes later, the same 52-year-old male had returned to the property in the 300-block of NW 2nd St and was once again arrested and cited.

April 20th

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle / Criminal Mischief / Carry Concealed Weapon- A caller reported a suspect jumped a fence into a downtown car dealership lot. The suspect then drove a vehicle through the fence, fleeing the area. The vehicle was later located in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was in possession of the vehicle, but denied stealing it. He refused to identify where he obtained the vehicle. The male was also found to be in possession of a concealed dagger. He was arrested and taken to the jail.

Criminal Mischief- A caller reported an unidentified suspect broke out a window in a vehicle in the 1000-block of NW 25th St. No suspect information identified.

Trespass- A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to the library after having been previously trespassed from that location. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass– Caller is an employee at a business in the 700-block of NW Polk Ave and reported a female was setting up a camp on the property. The caller wanted the female trespassed from the property. A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted and issued a trespass notice. The female then left the property.

Trespass– A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance at a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St. The female had previously been trespassed from the business as well. The female was contacted at the business and taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the jail.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle– Caller reported his vehicle was broken into two days ago while it was parked outside a business in the 100-block of SW 5th St. The caller’s guitar was stolen from his vehicle, and he believed he had located the suspect’s residence in the 2600-block of NW Fillmore Ave after speaking with an acquaintance. The owner of the residence consented to a search for the guitar and it was not located.

Trespass– Caller is an employee at a business in the 1600-block of SW 35th Ave and reported an unknown female had been on the property for an extended period of time. The caller reported the female appeared under the influence of a controlled substance and hallucinating and wanted her trespassed from the business. A 24-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted and issued a trespass notice. The female then left the property.

Warrant Arrest– A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 28000-block of the Hwy 34 Bypass. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu custody.

Burglary– Caller reported a cold burglary that occurred sometime within the last two days at her residence in the 1700-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr. The caller found her door unlocked when she returned home and approximately $400 in beef was missing from her freezer. Nothing else appeared to be missing and no suspect was identified.

Criminal Mischief / Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to a business in the 1000-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a female yelling inside the business. The caller reported the female kicked a door causing damage as well. A 40-year-old female and 40-year-old male, both Lincoln City residents, were contacted outside the business. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Criminal Mischief II and Disorderly Conduct II. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited for trespass after returning to a grocery store where he had previously been trespassed from.

April 19th

Trespass / Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to the 1400-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, refusing to leave the business. Officers made contact with the male and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody, transported to the police station and released with citations for trespassing and the warrant.

Injury Crash– Officers were dispatched to the intersection of NW Kings Blvd and NW Garfield Ave for the report of an injury crash. Officers discovered a vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The vehicle that ran the stop sign then hit a nearby house causing minor damage. No one needed medical transport and the at fault driver was cited.

Shots Heard– Officers were dispatched to the 3400-block of SW Willamette Ave for the report of someone hearing a gunshot. Officers discovered a dead wild turkey in the neighboring yard of a vacant home. There was no suspect information and the turkey was disposed of.

Disorderly Conduct / Menacing / Unlawful Use of Mace– Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW 2nd St for the report of an assault that just occurred. Officers discovered a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was upset with the lack of speedy coffee service at the restaurant. He went and grabbed a cup from behind the counter and filled up a cup of coffee. He left and came back without the mug. When the store asked for the mug back, the male retrieved it from outside. The mug had dirt all over it and an employee made a comment about the dirty mug. The male then grabbed the mug and smashed it on the ground in front of the employee. He then pointed mace at the employee and threatened to mace them before leaving. He was later located a few blocks away, taken into custody, and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance– Officers were dispatched to the 3000-block of NW Walnut Blvd for the report of a 24-year-old female, no fixed address, who was walking out into the street, acting strange, and trying to get into a nearby locked travel trailer. The female was located nearby and taken into custody for a warrant she had for her arrest. She also was in the possession of methamphetamine. She was transported to the police station and released with citations for the crimes.

Non-Injury Vehicle Crash / DUII– Officers responded to the area of NW 5th St and SW Western Blvd for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. The responding officers contacted both drivers and determined that one of the drivers, a 20-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was intoxicated. The female was arrested for DUII and later provided a breath sample. She was issued citations and released to a sober friend.

Theft III– An employee called to report a theft in progress in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd. An officer responded to the business and detained the suspect, who was identified as a 19-year-old male, Springfield resident. The male was arrested, issued a citation for the theft, a trespass notice, and returned home.

Criminal Mischief– Officers responded to the 1000-block of NW 11th St for a report of a rock being thrown through a bedroom window. A suspect was not immediately identified.

April 18th

Possession of a Controlled Substance– Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of NW Tyler Ave when they contacted a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, who was in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl. He was taken into custody, transported to the police station, and released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers were on patrol in the 1500-block of NW 9th St when they saw a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody, transported to the police station, and released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest / Theft– Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of NW Madison Ave when they made contact with multiple subjects who had warrants for their arrest. A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail. A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail. The 44-year-old male was also wanted in connection with a theft from a phone store. He was charged with theft as well.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle– A vehicle in the 2600-block of NW Coolidge Way was broken into by an unknown suspect and multiple items of value were stolen.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to the 2500-block of NW Coolidge Way for the report of a wanted subject inside the residence. Officers located a 31-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct II– A caller reported a male chasing people with a knife in the area of Central Park. Officers responded to the area and located a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who matched the description of the suspect. Through the investigation, officers were unable to confirm that a knife was involved and did not locate a knife in the area. A victim did report being chased by the suspect, though said they did not see a knife, and other witnesses reported being fearful of the behavior and even hiding from the suspect. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail.

Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property– Officers arrested a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, regarding Disorderly Conduct II. During the search incident to arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of a wallet that did not belong to him. The owner of the wallet reported he had lost the wallet a few days prior. The suspect was issued a citation for the theft charge and released.

Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property– Officers arrested a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, regarding Disorderly Conduct II. During the search incident to arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of a prescription bottle and medication that did not belong to him. The owner of the bottle has not yet been contacted. The suspect was issued a citation for the theft charge and released.

Criminal Trespass II– An employee in the 700-block of NE Circle Blvd called to request that two subjects be trespassed from the business. Officers arrived on the scene, and a 35-year-old male and a 39-year-old female were still on the scene. Per the request of the manager, the two subjects were issued trespass notices and left the property.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Theft I– A victim reported that an unknown person entered their parked vehicle and stole a backpack containing multiple items valued at over $100 in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The victim was able to track some of the stolen items to the area of 2000 NW Circle Blvd. The responding officers were able to locate some of the stolen items and return them to the victim.

Criminal Trespass II / Possession of a Controlled Substance– Officers were on patrol when they observed a 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, ignore a posted no trespassing sign and enter ODOT property. The male was arrested, and a methamphetamine pipe was located during the search. The male was booked into jail.

April 17th

Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to the 800-block of NW Cornell Ave for the report of a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing. Officers made contact with the male and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest– A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, came to the police station to turn himself in on a warrant. He was taken into custody and cited for his warrant.

Trespass– Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave for the report of a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property. The male had been previously trespassed. He was contacted by officers, taken into custody, and released with a citation.

Public Indecency / Open Container– A caller reported a nude female in the 1600-block of NW 9th St. An Officer responded to the area and located a 59-year-old female, no fixed address, only wearing a sheet and with an open container of alcohol. The female was arrested and removed from the area. While being transported, the female defecated in the backseat of the patrol vehicle. The female was issued a citation and released.

Interfering with a Police Officer / Possession of a Controlled Substance / Warrant Arrest– An officer was on patrol when he attempted to stop two bicyclists for suspicion of a crime. The two subjects split up and fled from the officer. The officer located one of the two subjects in the area and identified them as a 26-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The officer learned the female had an outstanding Benton County Circuit Court warrant. She was taken into custody and found to have drug paraphernalia in her possession. She was booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass II– Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a subject on the property who was previously trespassed. An officer arrived on the scene and found a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, still on the property, and confirmed the male had been previously trespassed from the business property. The male was removed from the property, issued a citation, and released.

Criminal Trespass II / Theft– An employee in the 2400-block of SE 3rd St called to report a subject stealing from the business. The subject stole earlier in the day, returned, and stole again a second time. The employee called after the subject had already left the property and stated they only wanted the subject trespassed if located. The officer was able to identify the suspect as a 42-year-old male, Blodgett resident, and locate him. The officer advised the subject that he was trespassed from the business.

Shoplift II / Criminal Trespass– An employee in the 1000-block of SE 3rd St called to report a theft. The officer arrived in the area and located the suspect based on the caller's description. The officer identified the suspect as a 50-year-old male, no fixed address. The suspect was issued a citation for Shoplift II and trespassed from the business.

Criminal Trespass / Unlawful Use of Mace– Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of SW 3rd St for a male in a business screaming in pain and yelling for people to call the police. Officers arrived on the scene and located a subject who was sprayed with pepper spray. The subject was unable to provide any physical description of who sprayed him or why. Corvallis Fire Department medics arrived and evaluated the subject. The business requested that the subject be trespassed from the business, and the officer issued a trespass notice, and the subject left the area.

Theft– Officers responded to a business in the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a theft that occurred 30 minutes prior to the time of call. No suspect identified.

Trespass– Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who had returned after being previously trespassed. He was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest– Officers on routine patrol contacted a 31-year-old male and a 38-year-old female sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 400-block of NW 2nd St. Both were arrested on active warrants. They were ultimately issued criminal citations and released.

Criminal Mischief – Officers on routine patrol noticed a bus shelter in the 100-block of NW Kings Blvd had been spray painted.

Warrant Arrest– Officers on directed patrol arrested a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 1st St and NW Harrison Blvd for an active warrant. He was ultimately issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest– Officers on directed patrol arrested a 42-year-old female, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 1st St and NW Harrison Blvd for an active warrant. She was ultimately issued a criminal citation and released.

April 16th

Warrant Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of NW 27th St for the report of two subjects arguing. One of the subjects, a 32-year-old female, Eugene resident, had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest– A 28-year-old male, no fixed address, came to the police station to turn himself in on a warrant. He was taken into custody on his warrant

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Criminal Mischief– Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of SW 8th St for the report of an unknown suspect who threw a rock through a vehicle window and stole items. Suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.

Theft III– An employee in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl called to report a subject who stole items from the store and left the area without paying. A responding officer located the subject in the area and stopped them. The subject was identified as a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, and the stolen items fell out of his pants when the officer stopped him. The male was issued a citation, the stolen items were recovered, and he was released.

Harassment– A victim called from the 300-block of SW 2nd St to report that an unknown male attempted to push him down and yelled at him for walking down the wrong side of the steps. The victim could only provide an approximate age of the suspect, and no physical or clothing description. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

Possession of a Controlled Substance / Warrant Arrest– An officer contacted a 34-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 100-block of SW Jefferson Ave. The male had an active warrant for his arrest out of the Benton County Circuit Court and was taken into custody. During the search of the male, the officer located a user amount of Fentanyl in his possession. The male was booked into jail.

Disorderly Conduct II / Menacing– Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of NW Taylor Ave for a report of a male threatening another with a baseball bat. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the victim, who reported that a neighbor came out of his house yelling at him about the noise he was making while carrying a baseball bat on his shoulder. Officers contacted the suspect, a 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who admitted to intentionally trying to intimidate the victim by carrying the baseball bat during the argument. The male was issued citations and released.

Warrant Arrest– An officer contacted a 61-year-old male, Bend resident, in the 5600-block of SW Airport Pl. The officer found the male had an active warrant for his arrest out of Wood County. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass– An employee in the 1800-block of NW 9th St called to report a subject on the property they wanted trespassed. The officer contacted a 59-year-old female, no fixed address, still on the property. The female was given a trespass notice and left the area.

Criminal Mischief– Officers responded to the area of 1200-block of NW Pierce Way for a report of a white truck that pulled up and threw water balloons at the caller. The balloons caused some damage to a vehicle and hit the caller in the leg causing a complaint of pain. No suspect identified.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to a facility in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a male refusing to leave. A 67-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for multiple active warrants and removed from the property.

April 15th

Theft / Trespass- A 57-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a downtown business after previously being trespassed and stole an 18-pack of beer. He was located and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, went to a location where she had previously been trespassed and reported she had spiders all over her. There were no spiders, but she was trespassing. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft- An unidentified suspect stole a hard drive out of an ATM in the 1900-block of NW 9th St.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 44-year-old female, no fixed address, refused to leave a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St. It was learned she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Traffic Stop / Warrant Arrest- An officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver, a 49-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment- A caller reported her adult son threw a glass at her head during a domestic dispute. The suspect, a 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested and taken to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct / Warrant Arrest- An intoxicated 44-year-old female, no fixed address, was confronting people at the downtown transit center. She slapped two people in the head. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was taken to jail.

Public Indecency- A caller reported a 25-year-old male, no fixed address, was engaging in indecent behavior in the 1800-block of NW Hayes Ave. No probable cause was developed for an arrest in that case. The male was arrested on an unrelated trespassing case.

Forgery- An unidentified suspect uttered a counterfeit $100 bill in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd.

Disturbance / Possession of a Controlled Substance / Carry Concealed Weapon / Warrant Arrest- A caller from the City Parks Department reported he was threatened by a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, in Avery Park. The male was located and found to be in possession of a meth pipe. He also had a dagger concealed in his pant leg. He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken to the jail and trespassed from all city parks.

Possession of a Controlled Substance- A 32-year-old male, no fixed address, was reported to be using drugs in the 900-block of NW Spruce. The male was located and so were the drugs. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Hit and Run– Officer responded to the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed a vehicle with unknown driver information, backed into a dumpster causing damage to the wall of a business.

Coercion / Interfering with Making a Report / Harassment- A 33-year-old male, Grande Ronde resident, was arrested for multiple charges after officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 100-block of SW Monroe Ave. The male attempted to prevent the victim from leaving the residence and tried to take her phone to prevent her from calling for help. The victim resorted to biting him to escape from him and call for help. He was booked at the jail.

April 14th

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer contacted a 66-year-old female, Corvallis resident, during a routine traffic stop. She was found to have a suspended license. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass / Open Container- A caller reported a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was unconscious in the parking lot of a business in the 300-block of SW 4th St. It was learned the male had previously been trespassed from the location and he was in possession of an open container of alcohol. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass / Littering / Possession of a Controlled Substance- Officers responded to a report of a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who set up a camp on private property in the 1700-block of NW 9th St. The male had previously been trespassed from the location. He was arrested and a bindle of methamphetamine was found in his possession. The male claimed it was salt. A field test indicated it was not salt but was in fact methamphetamine. Due to lack of jail capacity the male received citations in lieu of custody.

Fail to Register as Sex Offender / Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, came to the Law Enforcement Center. He was found to be an out of compliance registered sex offender and he had outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken to the jail.

ID Theft- A caller reported an unidentified suspect opened a power account using the victim’s personally identifying information.

Disturbance / Trespass- An elderly female caller reported a 62-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 100-block of NW 3rd St. The caller reported the male was yelling and screaming at her when she asked him to leave. The male was armed with a large knife. Although the male was highly agitated and threatened to kill the officers, he was detained without further incident. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody. The male later apologized for his behavior.

Theft– Caller reported their Trek mountain bike was stolen overnight while it was parked outside of his residence in the 1300-block of NW Van Buren Ave. No suspect has been identified.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on an Albany Municipal Court warrant after being contacted on a trespass complaint at a business in the 2200-block of NW 9th St. This subject was a former employee of the business who returned and then refused to leave when directed to by other employees. In addition to the warrant, he was trespassed from the business.

April 13th

Smoking in City Park / Warrant Arrest- A 67-year-old male, no fixed address, was warned for smoking in a city park in violation of city ordinance. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Found Property- An officer was flagged down by a passerby who found a check at an ATM. The owner of the check could not be positively identified. The check was entered into evidence as found property.

Open Container / Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 62-year-old male, no fixed address, in the Skate Park. The male had an open container of alcohol in the park. He was also found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance outside a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St. The male was issued a trespass notice.

Burglary– Officers responded to a business in the 800-block of SW 4th St for a business alarm. Upon arrival, officers found the backdoor of the business was unsecure and there were pry marks on the door frame. The business was cleared, and nobody was located inside. Nothing appeared to be missing or left behind by the suspect.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of a female causing a disturbance. The female was yelling and disrupting customers at the business. A 59-year-old female, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and she was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct 2 and transported to the jail.

Assist Other Agency- An officer conducted a Drug Recognition Expert examination for Oregon State Police at the Albany Police Department. 

Warrant Arrest- A 62-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several Corvallis Municipal Court warrants after being contacted setting up a camp in an alcove of a vacant business in the 100-block of SW 3rd St.  

April 12th

Trespass / Elude Vehicle & Foot– Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of SW Pickford St for the report of a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who returned to the address after being trespassed. The male knocked on the door and when the female answered he walked into the residence unwelcomed. A male friend was at the house and physically removed the male from the home by placing him in a headlock. The suspect left the house by vehicle as officers responded to the scene. Officers made it on scene and began to search the area for the male. He was located driving nearby and officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The male fled in his vehicle and drove to the residence he was trespassed from. Another officer was on scene there. The suspect ran from his vehicle to the front door as officers gave chase. He was taken into custody at the front door and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Trespass / Possession of Controlled Substance / Open Container– Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of SW 2nd St for the report of a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, who was drinking alcohol outside, yelling about people trying to murder her, and refusing to leave. Officers arrived on scene and placed her into custody. She was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Stolen Vehicle– Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of NW 9th St for the report of a stolen vehicle. Minutes later, an OSU PD officer located the vehicle in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. There were no suspects located in the area and the vehicle was returned to the victim.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest– Officers were on patrol in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl when they made contact with a 23-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the train tracks. The male was discovered to have a warrant for his arrest and in possession of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Offensive Littering– Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of NW Buchanan Ave for the report of a 52-year-old female, no fixed address, who was screaming and yelling in the area. The female blocked the bike path with her belongings. She was cited in lieu of custody for littering.

Trespass– Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of NW Van Buren Ave when they made contact with a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing in the public bathrooms. He was taken into custody and released with a citation for trespass.

Possession of Controlled Substance– Officers were on patrol in the 100-block of NW Tyler Ave when they made contact with a 50-year-old female, no fixed address, who was openly smoking methamphetamine in the park. She was taken into custody, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and later released with a citation.

Overdose– Officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr for the report of a 60-year-old male, no fixed address, who was overdosing. Officers arrived on scene and administered Narcan. He was found in possession of narcotics. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Criminal Trespass II / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Littering in a Waterway / Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 28-year-old male, Brownsville resident, in the area of Highway 34 and Ireland Ln and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest out of Marion County Circuit Court. The male fled the area on a bicycle, abandoned the bicycle, and attempted to cross the under-construction bridge into the city. As officers approached the subject on the bridge he threw unidentifiable items into the river. He was arrested and issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest– An officer contacted a 24-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 500-block of NW Van Buren Ave. The male had an active warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Trespass– Officers responded to a business in the 2400-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a 59-year-old female, no fixed address, who was reported to be acting suspiciously in the store. The female was issued a Trespass Notice.

Disorderly Conduct / Trespass– Officers responded to the area of the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl for a report of a male running at vehicles. A 39-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was contacted and issued a Trespass Notice from a facility in the area.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 24-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 5th St and NW Van Buren Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a criminal citation.

Special Response Notice– Officers responded to a residence in the 3600-block of SW Deon Dr for a report of loud music and intoxicated people. The residents were issued an SRN for loud noise and unlawful amplified sound.

Trespass– A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for trespassing after he returned to a business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St after being previously trespassed. He was escorted off the property, issued a criminal citation and released.

Trespass– Officers returned to the business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for another trespass complaint involving the same previously mentioned 52-year-old male, no fixed address. He was transported to the LEC and released with a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, and a 38-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd who were both the subject of active warrants. They were both ultimately released on criminal citations.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW 17th St and NW Harrison Blvd who was the subject of an active warrant. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a 39-year-old male, Lebanon resident, who was banging on the windows of the business and the caller’s vehicle while she was attempting to start work, and generally acting erratically. The male was arrested and transported to the jail where he was lodged.

April 11th

Trespass / Littering– Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Western Blvd for the report of a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who was refusing to leave the business. When officers arrived, he refused to leave. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation. He then ripped the citation up and littered it on the ground. He was then arrested again and later released with a citation for littering.

Overdose– Officers were dispatched to an overdose near NW 5th St and NW Buchanan Ave. A 32-year-old male, no fixed address, was overdosing on drugs near a bike path. An off-duty Albany firefighter was on a bike ride nearby and helped with Narcan deployment. The male regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital.

Warrant Arrest– While investigating the overdose near 5th St and Buchanan Ave, officers contacted a 35-year-old female, no fixed address, who had warrants for her arrest. She was cited in lieu of custody for the warrants.

Warrant Arrest– A 24-year-old male, Albany resident, came to the lobby of the police station to turn himself in on a warrant. He was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Trespass– Officers were dispatched to the 1200-block of NW Garfield Ave for the report of a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who locked himself inside of a port-a-potty in the park. Officers contacted the male and discovered he was trespassed from all parks. He was taken into custody and transported to the police station. He was later released with citations.

Open Container– Officers contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for drinking alcohol in public. She was taken into custody, transported to the police station, and released with a citation.

Criminal Trespass / Warrant Arrest– A caller reported a subject on the property they wanted to trespass in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl. An officer contacted the subject still on the property and identified him as a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who had active warrants for his arrest out of the Lebanon Municipal Court. The male was issued a trespass notice for the property, issued citations for the municipal warrants, and removed from the property.

Special Response Notice / Unlawful Amplified Sound– A caller reported a loud party in the 2200-block of NW Van Buren Ave. An officer responded to the address and could hear amplified music beyond the 150’ limit the active sound permit allowed. The officer contacted a 22-year-old male at the residence, issued him an SRN and advised him the sound permit was revoked.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Hit and Run– Officers responded to the 1400-block of NW 20th St for a report of a vehicle that hit another vehicle before leaving the area. The bumper of the suspect vehicle was left at the scene. The 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at his residence and arrested stemming from investigation on scene.

Special Response Notice– After clearing an unrelated call for service, officers noticed a residence in the 300-block of NW 17th St was hosting a party with unlawful loud noise. The residents were contacted and issued an initial SRN.

Assist Other Agency– A Corvallis Police Officer who is a drone operator responded to assist the Linn County Sheriff’s Office with a call for service in the 33000-block of Highway 99E to attempt to locate a suspect.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Reckless Endangering / Interfering with a Peace Officer– While officers were walking a DUII custody to the jail across 5th St, a vehicle accelerated rapidly towards the officer before speeding past him, and running the red light at NW 5th St and NW Monroe Ave. The vehicle continued to travel southbound on NW 5th St, running red lights and traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located in a parking lot near the intersection of SW 5th St and SW Western Blvd. The driver, a 67-year-old female, Albany resident, was extracted from the vehicle without incident. She was transported to the hospital for a search warrant blood draw before being transported to the jail.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a male who stole merchandise and left the area.

April 10th

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 200-block of SW Wake Robin Ave for a warrant for his arrest. He was cited in lieu of custody for his warrant.

Warrant Arrest– Officers went to the 1700-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr looking for a male wanted out of Washington County. Officers discovered the male no longer lived at the address, but the current resident, a 34-year-old female, had a warrant for her arrest out of Albany. She was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest– Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers arrived on the scene and detained a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, who was attempting to gain entry to the reported stolen vehicle. During the investigation officers learned the female was given access to the vehicle from the reported victim and determined there was no stolen vehicle, it was a civil issue between the owner of the vehicle and the female. However, the female was discovered to have multiple warrants for her arrest out of both Benton County and Linn County Circuit Courts. She was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest / Open Container– A caller reported someone screaming and yelling beneath the bridge in the area of NW 1st St and NW Harrison Blvd. An officer arrived on scene and located a 35-year-old female, Corvallis resident, near the bridge drinking from an open container of alcohol. During the contact, the female was found to have an active state-wide felony warrant for her arrest out of Benton County Circuit Court. The jail requested the officer issue a citation for the warrant, she was warned about the open container and released.

Warrant Arrest– A caller reported a woman walking back and forth in front of her residence screaming and yelling in the 200-block of NW 15th St. An officer arrived on scene and contacted a 62-year-old female, no fixed address, yelling about dead babies. The female was discovered to have a warrant for her arrest out of Albany Municipal Court. She was issued a citation for the warrant and moved along.

Theft II / Criminal Trespass I– An employee in the 400-block of SW 3rd St called 911 to report that a male had stolen beer and fled the business. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect near the Skate Park. The suspect was stopped, detained, and identified as a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, who had previously been trespassed from the business he stole from. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest– During the contact and investigation listed above, a 31-year-old male, no fixed address was found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest from Benton County Circuit Court. He was arrested for the charges stemming from the original investigation and booked into jail on those charges and his warrants.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Escape II / Resisting Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony) / Possession of Weapons by Certain Felons / Unlawful Possession of Firearms– An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of SW Pickford St and SW Leonard St. The driver was identified as a 36-year-old male from Washington. During the contact, the officer developed probable cause that the driver was intoxicated, and had the driver step out of the vehicle to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The driver then returned to the vehicle and began rummaging through a bag which he then kept in his possession. The officer attempted to arrest the male who then fought and resisted arrest, attempting to flee. Other officers arrived on scene and the male was placed under arrest. During a subsequent search of the bag, the male had concealed a loaded handgun and a felony amount of methamphetamine inside the bag. The male was later confirmed to be a convicted felon. He was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital and a search warrant was completed for a blood draw for evidence of DUII. At the hospital, the male resisted the blood draw and was placed in the WRAP device. The male was then booked into jail.

April 9th

Trespass- A 24-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 300-block of SW 2nd St. He was issued a trespass notice.

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassing at a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. He was issued a trespass notice.

Warrant Arrest– A 47-year-old male, Albany resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in for a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for his arrest. An officer arrested him and booked him into jail.

Criminal Mischief– Officers were dispatched to the 3600-block of NW Samaritan Dr for the report of a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, had punched a hole in the wall of the hospital room he was in. He was cited in lieu of custody and kept in medical care.

Disorderly Conduct / Theft– Officers were dispatched to the 1300-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who stole from a store. When officers made contact with the male, he refused to stop and threatened officers. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct– Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd for the report of a 44-year-old male, no fixed address, who was yelling at people and throwing alcohol on them. Officers located the male and he was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. He was later released with a citation.

April 8th

Burglary- An unidentified suspect stole tools from a storage shed in the 900-block of SW 15th St.

Theft- A caller reported a cell phone was stolen from a downtown business. The phone pinged to a residence and officers made contact. It was learned the phone had been returned to the downtown business. The phone was returned to the owner.

Shoplift– An unknown male stole merchandise from a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. The male was not identified.

Argument– Officers responded to a residence in the 800-block of NE Woodcrest Ave for an argument between the caller and a 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The argument stemmed from the male wanting the caller to divorce her husband, who was the male’s brother. The parties were separated, and the male left the residence.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– Officers responded to the 700-block of NE 2nd St for a report of female who crashed her vehicle into a parked vehicle, left, and then struck a tree. The driver was identified as a 67-year-old female, no fixed address, and officers observed she appeared intoxicated. The female agreed to perform SFST’s but refused to cooperate in performing them. She was taken into custody for DUII and Reckless Driving. A search warrant was authorized to obtain blood samples from the female, and she was lodged at the jail.

Trespass- A 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been arrested at least two prior times for trespassing at a motel was again arrested for trespassing at the same motel in the 300-block of NW 2nd St.

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was reported as a suspicious person in the 100-block of SW 2nd St and was reported to have his genitalia exposed. After officer contact, it was found the male had several active warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after refusing to leave the hospital after his treatment was complete. He was transported to the LEC and released with a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 60-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after refusing to leave the men’s shelter on SE Chapman Pl. He was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

 Criminal Mischief- Victim reported the windows were broken out of their car in their driveway in the 1000-block of NW 11th St. This was the 4th act of vandalism to this victim in the past two weeks.

April 7th

Criminal Mischief- A caller reported a resident in the 100-block of SW Wake Robin Ave lit materials on fire and threw them off his balcony. There was no known damage, and the suspect did not answer when officers attempted contact.

Theft- An unidentified suspect stole a display cell phone from a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St.

ID Theft- An unidentified suspect opened a bank account in the name of the reporting victim. The victim was not out any money.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle- An unidentified suspect stole a vehicle from the 4300-block of NW Witham Hill Dr. The vehicle was entered into LEDS/NCIC as stolen.

ID Theft– Caller reported a fraudulent back account was opened under his business and his ex-wife’s personal information. The account was never fully established or funded, and no suspect was identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 600-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a female inside the business who had previously been trespassed. The 54-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody and transported to the LEC where she was issued a citation for Criminal Trespass II.

Warrant Arrest– A 48-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted behind a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a trespass complaint. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Possession of Controlled Substance – Officers responded to the 200-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a male slumped over in his vehicle and was not responding to the caller. A 31-year-old male, Eugene resident, was contacted in the vehicle and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for PCS-Fentanyl.

Theft- A victim reported someone took her belongings while she had them stored at a church in the 100-block of NW 10th St. Other people present at the church indicated that there was an argument between the victim and another person, but no property was taken.

Warrant Arrest- While investigating the theft complaint at the church, it was learned the other involved party, a 49-year-old male, no fixed address, had a Linn County arrest warrant and a Marion County arrest warrant. He was transported to Linn County jail and booked.

April 6th

Trespass– Officers were dispatched to the hospital for the report of a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, who was refusing to leave and had no medical reason to be at the hospital. She was asked to leave multiple times and refused. She was taken into custody and transported to the police station. She was later released with a citation.

 Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– Officers were dispatched to NW 2nd St and Van Buren Ave for the report of a two-vehicle collision. Officers discovered a 61-year-old female, no fixed address, was driving the wrong way down a one-way street and collided with a vehicle in the intersection when she ran the red light. She was also under the influence of intoxicants. She was taken into custody, transported to the police station, and later released with citations.

Trespass– Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of NW 2nd St for the report of a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trespassing on the property. The male was taken into custody and transported to the police station, where he was issued a citation and released.

Criminal Mischief– Officers were dispatched to the 1300-block of NW 12th St for the report of multiple trees that were damaged and broken at the base. A neighborhood canvass revealed that screaming was heard the night before but there was no suspect information.

Non-Injury Crash- Officers responded to a reported bike vs vehicle crash at the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Garfield Ave. Officers determined that the vehicle driver was turning onto NW 9th St and collided with a pedestrian in the crosswalk, not a cyclist. The pedestrian indicated they weren’t injured, and the driver was cited.

Criminal Mischief- A victim reported the windows were broken out of their vehicle and their tires were damaged at their residence in the 1000-block of NW 11th St. No suspect information available.

Shoplift- A 41-year-old female, Philomath resident, and a 42-year-old male, Philomath resident, were cited for theft after they were shoplifting in a grocery store in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.

April 5th

Theft– Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of SW 11th St for a theft. Officers discovered an unknown suspect stole a Taser and radar detector from a vehicle parked in the area.

Illegal Camping– Two males were contacted in Avery Park for illegal camping. Both were cited in lieu of custody and released on scene.

Trespass / Littering– Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for the report of a 46-year-old male, no fixed address, who was camping in the bushes near the business and jumping out at customers in the drive thru. The male was asked to leave multiple times but did not. Officers arrived on scene and placed the male into custody. He was transported to the police station and released with citations for the crimes.

Special Response Notice / Unlawful Amplified Sound– A caller reported a loud party in the 200-block of NW 23rd St. An officer arrived on scene and could hear an amplified sound more than 50 feet from the source. The officer contacted two residents, both 21-year-old females, and issued them a Special Response Notice for the violation.

Special Response Notice / Unlawful Amplified Sound– A caller reported a loud party in the 200-block of NW 23rd St which did not quit after officers responded earlier in the day. An officer arrived on scene and could hear an amplified sound more than 50 feet from the source. The officer contacted a 21-year-old female (different from the two earlier in the day) and issued them a second Special Response Notice for the violation.

Criminal Trespass II– Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of SW Washington Ave for a report of an unknown person on the caller’s porch. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the suspect, a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, still on the property. Officers told the female to leave the property, and she refused to do so. The female was arrested, removed from the property, and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a citation and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– An officer stopped a vehicle in the area of NW 9th St and NW Linden Ave for traffic violations. During the stop, the officer developed probable cause that the driver, a 26-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was intoxicated. The driver performed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for DUII. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he provided a breath sample. He was then booked into jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants– An officer stopped a vehicle in the area of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 10th St for a traffic violation. During the investigation, the officer developed probable cause that the driver, a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was intoxicated. The driver performed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for DUII. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center for processing.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving– Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW 4th St and NW Van Buren Ave. The driver, a 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving stemming from investigation on scene. She was transported to the LEC where she provided a breath sample.

Assist Other Agency– Officers responded to assist the Philomath Police Department with a response to a residence in the 300-block of N 14th St for a report of a 19-year-old male, Eugene resident, inside of a residence experiencing a mental health crisis armed with a knife and threatening family members. The male was taken into custody without incident by Philomath Police.

Warrant Arrest– Offices responded to the 3400-block of NE Lancaster Ave for a report of a vehicle driving the area and shining a spotlight on residents’ yards. A 30-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted who advised she was looking for her intoxicated husband. She was issued a criminal citation on active warrants and released.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 300-block of NW 4th St who was the subject of active warrants. He was ultimately released on criminal citations.

Disorderly Conduct / Criminal Mischief III / Littering / Interfering with Officer– Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NE 2nd St for a report of an intoxicated male acting erratically and swinging a metal baseball bat. Employees locked the door, and the male hit the side of the business and urinated on an employee’s vehicle before leaving the area. Officers did not locate the male during the initial foot search, but were able to track the male’s yelling to the 800-block of NW 9th St. The 37-year-old male, no fixed address, jumped into a bush and dropped the bat at his feet. The male was non-cooperative with officer instructions and attempts to de-escalate the male while he acted erratically and made strange statements. Ultimately, the male was taken into custody without incident, and transported to the jail where he was lodged.

April 4th

Criminal Mischief– Officers were dispatched to the 100-block of SW Adams Ave for the report of damaged and stolen parking meters. No suspect information identified.

Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to that 100-block of NW Tyler Ave for the report of a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, who was trying to fight the caller. Officers made contact with the male and discovered he felt disrespected by the caller because he stared at him. The male had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and released with a citation.

Theft- Officers responded to the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a shoplift that had just occurred. The caller reported a female had shoplifted several items from the business. Officers were able to locate the female, a 24-year-old, no fixed address, and took her into custody for Theft III. The female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center, where she was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft / Vandalism- An officer took a report of package thefts that have been ongoing in the 1100-block of NW 10th St. The caller also reported damage to their yard possibly caused by the people stealing the packages. There is no suspect information at this time.

Theft- An officer responded to the 4000-block of NW Dale Pl for a report of a theft. The caller reported their ex-boyfriend, a 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had stolen her phone. The officer was able to locate the male who was taken into custody for Theft I and lodged at the Benton County Jail.

April 3rd

Warrant Arrest– Officers with the Community Livability Unit made contact with a 23-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1700-block of NW 9th St. The male had a felony warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct / Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for the report of a 66-year-old male, no fixed address, who was yelling and trying to pick fights with multiple people. Officers made contact with the male and discovered he had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Criminal Mischief– A caller reported their vehicle was spraypainted in the 700 block of NW Polk Ave. The caller reported an unknown person spraypainted three white “x” on their windshield. No suspects were identified.

Warrant Arrest– While investigating a theft in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl, officers contacted a 35-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had active warrants for her arrest. The female was issued citations for her warrants and released.

Violation of a Restraining Order– A petitioner of a restraining order called to report the respondent was violating the restraining order. An officer contacted the caller and learned the suspect, a 24-year-old male, no fixed address, was violating the restraining order by sending a letter and texting the victim in violation of the order. Later in the shift, the responding officer located the suspect, arrested him, and booked him into jail.

Disorderly Conduct II– Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of SW Washington Ave for a report of an intoxicated male trying to fight with his roommate. The caller reported the male was extremely intoxicated, unable to stand up or move from the kitchen floor but would attempt to punch him every time the roommate tried to help him. Officers arrived on the scene and found a 22-year-old male with a Beaverton address semi-conscious on the kitchen floor. Officers requested medics to check and evaluate him and learned multiple other residents were concerned about a fight because of the noise and commotion the intoxicated male was making. The male was transported from the scene and issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct II.

Warrant Arrest– Officers contacted a 47-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd. He was arrested on active warrants and was later issued criminal citations.

April 2nd

Fraudulent Use of Credit Card / ID Theft / Computer Crime / Theft / Trespass- A 60-year-old male, no fixed address, attempted to use a stolen credit card to make a purchase at a business in the 1800 block of NW 9th St. The male claimed he found the card on the ground. He had previously been trespassed from the business. The male was arrested and taken to the jail on the listed charges.

Fraud- A victim reported they were contacted by someone purporting to be from customer support at a crypto wallet company. The victim provided her information to the person, and they took approximately $11,000 in bitcoin from the account. No suspect information.

Suspicious Activity- Officers responded to a city park for a report of a fresh grave at the location. The grave was located and excavated. The body of a recently deceased canine was discovered. No crimes.

Fraud- A caller reported they were the victim of a scam. They had sent $800 dollars in Apple gift cards to purchase a puppy which did not exist.

Violation of Order- A caller reported he was contacted via social media by a male Corvallis resident in violation of a court order. No court order was found to exist.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl. Upon arrival, a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, found to be chasing after another male who was attempting to flee on foot. The suspect was detained at Taser point and arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Theft III / Criminal Trespass I x2– An officer was dispatched to the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a shoplifting suspect in custody. The officer arrived on the scene and found a 37-year-old female, Corvallis resident, detained by employees when the suspect tried to leave with approximately $30 worth of merchandise. The suspect was previously trespassed from the business. During the investigation, the officer learned the same suspect stole from the same business earlier in the day. The suspect was issued citations for Theft III & Criminal Trespass I twice for both thefts.

April 1st

Violent Conduct- A 61-year-old male, no fixed address, became confrontational with Parks Dept. employees when they told him to move his camp out of an Avery Park shelter. The male attempted to provoke a fight with the employees and knocked a drink out of the hand of one employee. The male was arrested and transported to the LEC where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody. He was also issued a park trespass notice excluding him from all city parks.

Trespass- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a trespass notice from an apartment complex in the 1400-block of NW 20th St.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance / Delivery of a Controlled Substance- An officer was on proactive patrol in the 400-block of NW 1st St when he observed a male whom he knew to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. When he attempted to detain the male, the male resisted and was taken to the ground. The male was taken into custody without further incident. A search of the male and his property located methamphetamine and fentanyl. The fentanyl was prepacked in individual baggies labeled for sale. The male was transported to the Linn County Jail on the warrant and issued citations in lieu of custody for the local charges.

Trespass- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to the men’s shelter after being previously trespassed. He was arrested for this charge and also for trespassing at the location the day prior. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Fraud- An unidentified suspect passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle- An unidentified suspect stole a scooter from a residence in the 1400-block of NW Highland Dr. The vehicle was entered into LEDS/NCIC as stolen.

Threats- A male reported another male was following him and verbally harassing him. No crimes.

Criminal Mischief- A 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was witnessed slashing vehicle tires at Corvallis High School. The male was located and arrested. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Burglary / Theft- A caller reported a 54-year-old female, no fixed address, entered a vacant building and stole a heater. The female was located and arrested. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Public Indecency (Felony)- A 29-yaer-old male, no fixed address, was exposing his genitals to passersby in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave. The male has previous convictions for this crime and was subsequently charged with a felony. He was arrested and lodged in the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, in the skate park. The male was cited in lieu of custody on an outstanding warrant.

Trespass- A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance outside a downtown business. He was issued a trespass notice.

Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor– A 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was stopped for a traffic violation at SW 3rd St and SW B Ave. The male’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level, and he was issued a citation in lieu of custody for DWS-Misdemeanor.

Unauthorized Entry to Motor Vehicle– Caller reported their vehicle was broken into over the weekend while parked outside their residence in the 900-block of Tyler Ave. No evidence was located to identify a suspect.

Trespass– Caller reported there was unknown male sleeping outside their business located in the 100-block of SW 2nd St. A 44-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at the business and issued a trespass notice.

Criminal Mischief- A victim reported a window broken out of their vehicle in the 3400-block of NE Oxford Circle. There was also some blood left behind on scene.

Criminal Trespass- A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after officers responded to a burglary alarm call at a church in the 1100-block of NW Monroe Ave and found her establishing a small camp inside. She was transported to the LEC and released on citation.

Criminal Mischief- An officer discovered a broken window at a closed restaurant in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. One pane of a double paned window was damaged, however no entry was gained into the building.   

March 31st

Attempted Burglary / Possession of a Controlled Substance- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was caught in the act of breaking into a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The suspect was taken to the jail.

 Possession of a Controlled Substance- A 62-year-old female, no fixed address, came to the LEC to turn in a bag of methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest- A 22-year-old male, no fixed address, turned himself in on a warrant. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Trespass– A 54-year-old female, no fixed address, was on the property of a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St after she had previously been trespassed. The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the LEC where she was issued a citation in lieu if custody.

Shoplift– Caller reported a historical shoplift at their business in the 2800-block of NW Grant Ave. The caller reviewed security footage and discovered a 56-year-old female, Corvallis resident, stole approximately $50 in merchandise. The female was contacted at her residence and issued a citation in lieu of custody for Theft III.

Warrant arrest- A 46-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on two Albany Municipal Court warrants after being contacted on a trespassing complaint in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave.

DUII- A 50-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was arrested for DUII after being stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of NW Hwy 99 and NE Conifer Blvd. A search warrant was served to obtain a blood sample.

Car / Pedestrian crash- A pedestrian was crossing in the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW Western Blvd and was struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk at about 9:00 p.m. The driver and pedestrian had limited contact, and both went on their separate ways. The pedestrian later was transported to the hospital by ambulance for injuries received and CPD was notified of the crash.

March 30th

Trespass- A 51-year-old male, no fixed address, was unlawfully upon railroad property near NW 6th St and NW Polk Ave. He was arrested for trespassing.

 Disorderly Conduct- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was swinging a large stick at passing vehicles near SW 3rd St and SW Adams Ave. This was the male’s third contact with law enforcement in about twelve hours. He was taken to the LEC and released with a citation in lieu of custody.

Hit and Run– A caller reported their parked vehicle was struck overnight while it was parked in front of their residence in the 1700-block of NW Grant Circle. No suspect was identified.

Theft II– Officers responded to a residence in the 900-block of SW Washington Ave for a report of a male attempting to steal a bike. A 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was located by the officers still attempting to steal the bike. The male was taken into custody for Attempted Theft II and Criminal MischiefII2 and transported to the LEC where he was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment– Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of SW 7th St for a report of an assault between roommates. The caller reported he was kicked in the buttocks during an argument by his 23-year-old roommate. The suspect admitted to kicking the caller during the argument. The male was issued a citation for in lieu of custody for harassment.

Assist Other Agency- An officer responded to the Linn County Jail to conduct a Drug Recognition Expert exam for LCSO.

Criminal Mischief- Officer noticed damage to a glass door of a business in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd. No entry was made, and it appeared to be vandalism.

Warrant arrest- A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was causing a disturbance at the men’s shelter in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl. He also had two Benton County Circuit Court warrants that he was cited on.

March 29th

Fraud– Caller reported his bank account information was hacked, and someone was using it to gamble online. The male was out of $600 as a result. There was no suspect information.

Disturbance– Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of SE Crystal Lake Dr for the report of a disturbance. Officers discovered an unknown male got into a scuffle with one of the residents and left, after being confronted about making too much noise. No one was injured and the suspect was not located nor identified.

Warrant Arrest / Theft– Officers were on patrol in the 400-block of SW Adams Ave when they saw a 26-year-old male, no fixed address, who had warrants for his arrest. Officers briefly lost visual contact with the male and when he reappeared, he had a bike with him. Officers placed the male into custody on his warrants and he admitted to stealing the bike. He was later released with citations for the warrant and theft.

Harassment – An officer was dispatched to the 600-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of an argument. The officer contacted the caller, who reported he was video-recording people in the park when a male became upset with him and spit in his face. The victim provided a video of the occurrence. The officer searched for the suspect but was unable to locate him, given a significant time delay between the occurrence and when the victim reported it to police. The officer contacted the victim to update him, and the victim stated he no longer wanted to pursue criminal charges.

False Information to a Peace Officer / Possession of a Controlled Substance / Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of an argument. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, who was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest out of Benton County Circuit Court. The male attempted to provide a false name and identifying information in connection with the warrant but was unsuccessful. During the arrest, the male was discovered to have methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into jail on the above charges.

Warrant Arrests Officers were dispatched to the 1000-block of NW Jackson Ave for a fight. Officers arrived on the scene and determined there was not a fight, just an argument over tobacco products. During the investigation, officers contacted a 46-year-old female, no fixed address, who had warrants for her arrest out of Clackamas and Marion County Circuit Courts. The female was issued citations for the warrants and released.

Theft of Services– A victim called from the 1100-block of NW 9th St and reported a subject received services but was now unable to provide payment. The officer arrived on the scene and contacted the subject, a 31-year-old male, Philomath resident, who reported they intended to pay for the services but now their payment method was being declined. Potential criminal charges are pending if the male does not pay the bill within an agreed-upon timeframe.

Assist Other Agency (Benton County Sheriff’s Office)– Officers responded to the Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room to assist Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies with a subject in custody fighting with deputies. Officers assisted deputies in securing the 18-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the WRAP restraint device and the male was transported to jail.

Theft– An employee in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl called to report a shoplifting suspect in custody. As officers were responding the employee reported the suspect fled the area in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it in the area of NE Walnut Blvd and NE Circle Blvd. The suspect, a 36-year-old male, Eugene resident, was found with stolen items still in his possession. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest– During a theft investigation in the area of NE Circle Blvd and NE Walnut Blvd, officers learned a 36-year-old male, Eugene resident, had a felony, state-wide, warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Reckless Burning– Officers were dispatched to NW Kings Blvd near NW Elmwood Dr for the report of a male lighting items on fire inside of the bus stop shelter. Officers contacted the 31-year-old male, no fixed address, and placed him into custody. He was transported to the police station and later released with citations for Reckless Burning and Littering.

March 28th

Trespass / Warrant Arrest– Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 1st St for the report of a previously trespassed 44-year-old female, no fixed address, hanging out in the lobby. She was asked to leave but did not immediately. Officers made contact with the female and discovered she had felony warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 500-block of SW Madison Ave. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released with citations for the warrants.

Warrant Arrest– Officers made contact with a 28-year-old female, Albany resident, near NW Kings Blvd and NW Circle Blvd. The female had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and later released with a citation.

Trespass– Officers were dispatched to the 2000-block of NE Belvue St for the report of someone who broke into a medical tractor trailer. Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, no fixed address, who set up camp in the unlocked trailer. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation for trespassing.

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender– A 31-year-old male, Winston resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to register as a sex offender and was found to be out of compliance. The male was issued a citation for failing to register as a sex offender and released.

Menacing- Officers responded to the 2100-block of NW Highland Dr for a report of someone being threatened with a gun. Officers learned a 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, threatened his neighbor due to frustrations regarding loud noise. The suspect menaced his neighbor with a firearm. He was arrested for menacing and Disorderly Conduct II. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 700-block of NW 5th St for a reported argument. Officers learned one of the involved parties, a 51-year-old male, no fixed address, had an active warrant for his arrest out of Albany. He was issued a citation and released.
