April 27th

Trespass I- An employee called from the 400-block of SW 3rd St to report a theft from the business. The caller stated a subject stole food and alcohol and was last seen heading north from the location. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect, a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, in possession of the reportedly stolen items. Officers additionally learned the female had been previously issued a trespass notice from the business. The female was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- While on a call for service in the 500-block of SW 4th St, officers contacted a 51-year-old female, no fixed address, who had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Trespass- Caller reported a male was sleeping behind a dumpster on their property in the 800-block of NW Cornell Ave. A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted and issued a trespass notice for the property.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the intersection of SW Philomath Blvd and SW 15th St for a road rage incident. The caller reported a male driver in the vehicle behind them exited his vehicle holding a firearm at his side and yelled at the caller. The caller pulled into a nearby parking lot and the suspect vehicle left the area. The owner of the suspect vehicle was identified as a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and was located at his residence. The male admitted to getting out of his vehicle and yelling at the caller due to the caller’s driving behavior, but denied ever possessing a firearm during the incident. No firearm was located and the male provided dashcam video showing he did not have a firearm in his possession during the incident. No arrests were made.

Disorderly Conduct- A 23-year-old female, Gervais resident, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 700-block of SW 15th St. The female was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, Woodburn resident, was cited on an active warrant for his arrest after being contacted during a domestic disturbance complaint in the 700-block of SW 15th St.

April 26th

Warrant Arrest / Theft III- An employee called from the 200-block of SW 3rd St to report a shoplifting which had just occurred. The caller stated a subject stole from the business and then fled the area. Officers located the suspect in the area and identified him as a 44-year-old male, no fixed address. During the contact, the officers learned the male had warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a subject biting the table inside the business. Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, Eddyville resident, in the business. The male was very intoxicated and had warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass- A caller reported a subject in the bathroom for hours at Cloverland Park. Officers arrived at the park and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, still in the bathroom. The male was previously trespassed from all city parks until 2030. He was arrested, removed from the park, issued a citation for trespassing, and released.

Shoplift / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a grocery store in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a reported shoplift. The suspects fled prior to officer arrival, but were located and detained several blocks away. Both individuals, a 29-year-old female, Eugene resident and a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, were found to have multiple warrants for their arrests. They were arrested for their warrants and additional charges of Theft III.

April 25th

Warrant Arrest- A 55-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 400-block of SW C Ave. It was determined he had several warrants for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody on the warrants.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a non-injury vehicle crash at NW 9th St and NW Beca Ave. One of the drivers was turning onto NW 9th St and failed to properly stop and yield to traffic when entering the road.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a fight. A 45-year-old male and a 37-year-old male, both no fixed address, were reportedly fighting. The investigation revealed the 45-year-old male was the aggressor and he was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle in the 1100-block of NW 9th St, resulting in minor injuries. It was determined the driver of the vehicle failed to yield to the cyclist on a sidewalk.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. The passenger, a 43-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 1200-block of SW 3rd St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was booked at the Linn County Jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 2100-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop in the 800-block of NW Harrison Blvd. The officer observed indicators of impairment and ultimately arrested the 20-year-old male, Albany resident, for DUII. He was cited and released to a sober friend.

April 24th

Trespass / Theft- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1600-block of NW 29th St for trespassing in a city park. The male was cited for Criminal Trespass II and Theft II, as he was in possession of a stolen shopping cart. The male’s trespass notice from city parks now extends to 2030.

Warrant Arrest / Dog Bite- A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted after her dog bit an adult male in the 500-block of SW 4th St. The female had warrants for her arrest for which she was cited. The dog was quarantined.

Trespass II / Open Container- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass and Open Container in the 1000-block of NW 9th St. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Theft- Officers took a report of a cold theft at a business in the 2000-block of NW 29th St. An unidentified suspect stole ammunition and a cooler backpack from the store.

Theft- An officer took a report of a theft from a chiropractic office in the 800-block of NW 23rd St. The suspect, a 38-year-old female, Albany resident, had received a massage. After the massage, the suspect was given privacy to change. When the suspect left, she had her sweatshirt bundled awkwardly under her arm. The therapist noticed immediately after the suspect left that a piece of equipment from the room was missing. The suspect was contacted at her residence and cited in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 5300-block of NW Harrison Blvd. The driver, a 32-year-old female, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment. She performed SFSTs and was arrested for a DUII.

April 23rd

Warrant Arrest- A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 500-block of SW Adams Ave on an unrelated call for service, and it was determined she had several warrants for her arrest. She was issued citations in lieu of custody for the warrants.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a fight. They contacted a 53-year-old male, Salem resident, and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transferred to the custody of the Albany Police Department.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 56-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 500-block of SW Western Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

April 22nd

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to Pioneer Park for a Parks & Recreation employee calling in stating a subject was threatening them. Officers responded to the area and located the subject on the SW 4th St bridge. The suspect was identified as a 31-year-old male, no fixed address. Investigation revealed the caller asked the male to leave the park bathroom, and the male became angry and began yelling at him. The male then threatened to shoot the caller before fleeing the area when police were contacted. The male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II.

Theft II- An employee at the library called to report a cold theft of a shopping cart. The caller reported a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, stole a shopping cart and then called to inquire whether he was trespassed from the location. The officer confirmed the identity of the suspect and developed probable cause for his arrest. Later in the day, the officer contacted the suspect when he returned to the library. The male was arrested and trespassed from the library.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were contacting illegal camps in Pioneer Park and contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Attempted Assault IV- Officers responded to the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of two males fighting. It was determined a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, involved in the altercation attempted to board a bus as the bus was leaving. The male banged on the door and the bus driver did not let him on. The male went to the front of the bus, took a bicycle off the rack of the bus, and placed the bike on the ground in front of the bus to prevent it from leaving. The bus driver exited the bus, and the male attempted to fight the bus driver. A passenger exited the bus and was able to detain the male until police arrived. The male was arrested for Attempted Assault IV, Interfering with Public Transportation, and Disorderly Conduct II. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, near NW Grant Ave and NW Kings Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

Hit & Run / Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to the area of SW 15th St and SW Western Blvd for what was initially reported as a suspicious vehicle. The caller reported seeing a vehicle with what appeared to be fresh damage driving on SW E Ave, and the driver appeared to be intoxicated. The vehicle and the driver were located at SW 16th St and SW Western Blvd. The driver was intoxicated and admitted to striking a parked vehicle near SW 13th St and SW A Ave. The driver, a 29-year-old male, Albany resident, was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Hit and Run. He was booked into the jail.

Assault IV- Officers responded to a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a fight. Bouncers were actively holding a male suspect down when officers arrived. The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and was detained without incident. The investigation revealed the male was causing a disturbance inside the bar. When bouncers tried to remove him, a physical altercation ensued and one of the bouncers was bitten, causing minor injuries. The male was taken into custody for Assault IV.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, on SW 4th St and SW B Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

April 21st

Theft II- A 55-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 4200-block of NW Duniway Dr on an unrelated call for service. During the contact, the officer learned another police officer had probable cause to arrest the male for Theft II, stemming from a previous investigation. The male was arrested, and a stolen device was recovered and returned to the original victim.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 500-block of SW 4th St to report a subject asleep on the property. An officer arrived at the location and contacted a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. The male was issued a trespass notice for the property and left the area.

Criminal Trespass- Officers responded to the 4200-block of NW Duniway Dr for a report of a group of people trespassing on private property. The officers arrived at the location and contacted a 55-year-old male, no fixed address. He was issued a trespass notice for the property.

Criminal Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dealing with a trespass call in the 4200-block of NW Duniway Dr when they contacted a 27-year-old male, no fixed address, who ha a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant, a trespass notice for the property, and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old female, Lebanon resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn herself in on a warrant. She was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Theft- Caller reported she received a call from a subject claiming to be a deputy who stated she had missed Federal Jury Duty and owed $4,500 in digital currency. Caller withdrew the money at a digital currency kiosk and paid the suspect. The suspect was not identified.

Bias Crime- Officers responded to a church in the 100-block of SW 8th St for a report of a male yelling outside and punching the windows. The male’s behavior caused the church to go into lockdown. The suspect was located in the parking lot and identified as a 46-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and was detained without incident. The male told the officers the church was full of “Luciferians” because there was a Pride flag displayed outside. Multiple witnesses were contacted and stated the male was yelling derogatory slurs towards the people inside as he was punching the windows. There was no damage to the church. The male was taken into custody for Bias Crime II and Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the jail.

Burglary- Caller reported a historical burglary at her residence in the 100-block of SW Wake Robin Ave which occurred four nights previously. The caller came home and found her back door open and her pet birds were out of their cage. Nothing appeared to be missing, and no suspect information was located.

Identity Theft- Caller is the owner of a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. Caller stated a former employee, a Washington resident, who was terminated 17 years ago, has been making purchases for his own business under the name of the caller’s business. However, it appears the former employee has been paying for the purchases with his own funds, and the caller’s business is not out any money.

Theft- Caller is an employee at a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl and reported a theft which had just occurred. Caller stated the male suspect stole over $400 in merchandise and left the business on foot. Officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residential living facility in the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a female who was refusing to leave after being asked to do so. The suspect was identified as a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, and she was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. The female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 25-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted in the 500-block of SW 4th St.

Trespass- A 58-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after she was reportedly causing a disturbance at a motel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St. She had also been previously trespassed from this same motel.

Warrant Arrest- As the officer was investigating the trespass complaint at the motel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St, he learned one of the employees had an active warrant. The 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was cited for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl learned that one of the occupants, a 43-year-old male, no fixed address, had a felony warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail.

April 20th

Warrant Arrest- A 32-year-old male, Salem resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on an active warrant. The male was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old male, Philomath resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to update his sex offender registration. While doing so, officers learned he had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Attempted Theft- Caller stated she received a message while she was online from an unknown person claiming her computer was infected with malware and they had passwords to all her accounts. The unknown person told the caller to send $400 or they would distribute all her information. The caller did not send any money and changed all her passwords.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported a group of juveniles kicked the glass on a bus shelter in the 1800-block of NW Highland Dr, causing the glass to break. The caller attempted to speak with the juveniles but they ran off. There was a crack in the glass in the bus shelter, but it was undetermined if it was caused by the juveniles or old damage. The juveniles were not located.

Attempted Theft- Caller reported he found an advertisement for a rental home online in the 6200-bock of SW Grand Oaks Ave. The caller reached out to the ad and the person told them they owned the property, but were currently out of state, which is why they were renting the home. The caller then reached out to the head of the HOA where the property was located and was able to get in contact with the real owner of the home, who confirmed they were not renting the property. The suspect was not identified.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Vehicle caught a communication wire that was hanging over the road at SW 4th St and SW Adams Ave, causing the line to break and hang over the road.

Trespass- A 58-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespassing after returning to a location in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl from which she had already been trespassed. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted during downtown foot patrol.

April 19th

Warrant Arrest / Open Container of Alcohol / Trespass- An officer was on patrol in the Skate Park when they observed a subject drinking alcohol in the park. The officer stopped the subject and identified them as a 45-year-old female, no fixed address. The officer also learned the female had a warrant for her arrest. The female was issued a citation for the warrant, another for the Open Container, and trespassed from the City Parks.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Trespass- An officer was involved in an unrelated investigation in the Skate Park when a 39-year-old female, no fixed address, approached him and asked him to hold her methamphetamine pipes so no one would steal them. The female then produced multiple meth pipes and two baggies of methamphetamine from her pockets. The female was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation for PCS-Methamphetamine and issued a trespass notice for the City Parks.

Disorderly Conduct II / Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer / Resisting Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1000-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a female inside the business behaving strangely, including grabbing people and yelling. Officers contacted the female who resisted arrest, jumped on a patrol vehicle, and kicked and attempted to bite an officer. The 40-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested, placed in a WRAP restraint device, transported to the hospital for clearance and then to the jail, where she was lodged.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 43-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 2000-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of active warrants. He was issued criminal citations and released.

Trespass- An employee of a business in the 800-block of NE Circle Blvd reported seeing a person entering a securely fenced area next to the business approximately two hours earlier.

April 18th

Warrant Service- A 22-year-old female and a 45-year-old male, both no fixed address, were contacted by an officer in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd. Both were found to have warrants for their arrest and were issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr for a report of an unidentified male sparking a taser at people. The unidentified male left prior to police arrival and was not located. The caller, a 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest, for which he was issued a citation.

Trespass- An officer contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, in a city park in the 600-block of NW 27th St. The male was arrested for Trespass, as he had been previously trespassed from all city parks.

Criminal Mischief- An officer responded to the 2100-block of NW Fillmore Ave for a report of Criminal Mischief. The caller reported an unknown male threw an AC unit through the front window. The suspect was not located and has not been identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 2100-block of NW Janssen St for a trespass complaint. The caller reported a male who had been previously trespassed was back on the property. Officers located the subject and identified a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was taken into custody for Trespass II and issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a trespass complaint. Upon arrival, officers contacted a 33-year-old female, no fixed address. The officers learned the female had several outstanding warrants for her arrest. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued citations for the warrants.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to the 400-block of NW 6th St for an argument. Upon arrival, the suspects had already left the area. A fence was damaged by the suspects who were arguing. There is no suspect information at this time.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a non-injury crash in the 1300-block of NW Van Buren Ave. One of the involved drivers was issued a citation for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 200-block of SW 3rd St. The male had an active warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (Marijuana)- An officer stopped a vehicle for driving without lights in the 300-block of SW Madison Ave. As the officer was walking up to the driver’s window, the driver threw a lit marijuana cigarette out of the window onto the ground. The driver, a 22-year-old female, New York resident, admitted to smoking marijuana while driving and exhibited signs of impairment. She consented to SFSTs and was arrested for DUII.

April 17th

Open Container- Officers arrested a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, who was in possession of an open container of hard liquor in the 400-block of SW Jefferson Ave. The female was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was released on a criminal citation.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 9th St. One driver was cited for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.

Theft- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplift. A 26-year-old male, Sandy resident, was arrested and cited for Shoplift I.

Theft- Officers responded to the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplift which had occurred earlier in the day.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 48-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd. The male had multiple outstanding warrants and was booked into the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 24-year-old male, Corvallis resident, near NW Spruce Ave and NW 9th St. The male had multiple active warrants for his arrest. The jail was at capacity and provided a court date. The male was issued citations for the warrants.

Hit and Run- Officers responded to the area of NW Taylor Ave and NW 26th St for a hit and run which had just occurred. A blue hatchback was observed running into a parked car, which in turn struck another parked car. The hatchback then left the area. It was not located.

Reckless Driving- An OSU DPS officer and a CPD officer both observed a vehicle driving recklessly outside a bar on NW 15th St. The vehicle was stopped at NW 15th St and NW Van Buren Ave after it continued to drive recklessly away from the bar. A 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was detained. He was ultimately issued a citation for Reckless Driving and released.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 8th St for an Attempt to Locate (ATL) on a possible DUII driver. A 23-year-old male, Silverton resident, had been out drinking with friends and decided he would try to drive home, despite warnings from those friends. The male was located and arrested for DUII.

April 16th

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 26-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 100-block of SW B Ave after an officer observed him with drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested for PCS (Methamphetamine) and an unrelated, active warrant. He was transported to the jail.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of NW 27th St and NW Harrison Blvd. One driver was issued a traffic citation for following too closely.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 500-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had locked himself in the bathroom for over an hour. The male was arrested for Trespass and later released with a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest / Resisting Arrest / Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer- Officers responded to the 3900-block of NW Witham Hill Dr for a report of a 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, causing a disturbance in her apartment which was bothering neighbors. Officers recognized the female and confirmed she had multiple warrants for her arrest from multiple jurisdictions. The female physically resisted being taken into custody and attempted to kick an officer multiple times while being escorted to a patrol vehicle. She was taken to the hospital for jail clearance and then booked into the jail.

April 15th

Violent Conduct / Open Container- A caller reported a subject yelling obscenities at people in the 200-block of NW 1st St. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, with an open container of alcohol. The female was stopped, issued a citation for Violent Conduct and Open Container, and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the area of SW Wake Robin Ave and SW Pickford St for a report of a male and female arguing. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted both parties, who each stated there was no physical fight and that it was only an argument. During the contact, the officers learned the 46-year-old male, Albany resident, had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest / Theft III- An employee called from the 100-block of SW 1st to report a theft suspect back in the business and attempting to commit a second theft. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 32-year-old suspect, no fixed address. During the contact, officers learned the subject had a warrant for their arrest. They were arrested.

Trespass- Officers responded to the Corvallis Library for a report of a male who was refusing to leave and causing a disturbance. The suspect was identified as a 33-year-old male, Portland resident. The male was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Trespass II.

Theft- Caller reported two separate incidents where gas was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked outside her residence in the 600-block of SW Vera Ave. No suspect was identified.

Reckless Burning- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a public bench that was set on fire. The caller reported a male walking away from the area was the person who set the fire. A 51-year-old male, no fixed address, was detained to investigate his involvement. The caller stated they never actually saw the male set the fire, but just saw him walking away from it. The male did not have any items in his possession that would be capable of setting a fire. The officer was unable to develop probable cause to charge the male for Reckless Burning. The male was released and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 46-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted in the 100-block of SW 2nd St.

Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW C Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 60-year-old female, Albany resident, was taken into custody on an active warrant after being contacted near NW 9th St and NW Garfield Ave.

April 14th

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 800-block of NW 5h St for an argument and a male claiming to have a gun. As officers were arriving on scene, the caller reported they never observed a weapon, but the male threatened to shoot the caller. Officers arrived in the area and located the subject, a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, nearby. The investigation determined the male “shoulder checked” the victim, who was on his bike. The male then argued with the victim and made multiple threats to “shoot” him before leaving the area before police arrival. The male was removed from the area, issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct II, and released.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 900-block of NW Beca Ave to report a subject asleep on the business’s property. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted a 50-year-old male, no fixed address, asleep on the property. The male was woken up, identified, and trespassed from the property.

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 1600-block of SE 3rd St for a report of a subject yelling, screaming, and jumping in front of passing vehicles. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 40-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, removed from the area, issued a citation, and released.

Interfering with a Peace Officer / Resisting Arrest / Pedestrian Violation- An officer observed a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, fail to obey a traffic control device and interfere with traffic. The officer then tried to stop the male who fled on foot. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Mischief II- A victim reported a 33-year-old male, no fixed address, had hit a vehicle, damaging it in the 800-block of NW Chipmunk Pl. The investigation is pending contact with the male who damaged the vehicle and issuing a citation.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassed from the front porch of a vacant residence in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd at the owner’s request.

Assault- An employee at a bar in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave was punched in the face by a patron and received a minor injury to his nose. The suspect fled before officers arrived, and the victim was uninterested in pursuing the investigation any further.

April 13th

Criminal Trespass- A neighbor called to report people setting up tents in an adjoining property. Officers responded to the 1200-block of NW 17th St and contacted an 18-year-old male, no fixed address, in a tent in the backyard of the property. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the property.

Criminal Trespass- A caller reported a subject trespassing on the property in the 2000-block of NW Monroe Ave. An officer arrived on scene and contacted a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, camping on the property. The male was issued a trespass notice and left.

Disorderly Conduct II / Criminal Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 1600-block of NW 9th St for a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, yelling and threatening to harm people. The caller reported the male had been previously trespassed from the property. Officers arrived at the business and contacted the male on the property. He was arrested, removed from the property, issued a citation, and released.

Follow-Up / Menacing / Disorderly Conduct II- An officer contacted a 63-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 800-block of NW 23rd St while following up on a previous investigation. The officer arrested the male for Disorderly Conduct II and Menacing regarding the original investigation. The male was booked into jail.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported seeing a male throw a brick through the window of a vehicle parked in the 1400-block of NW Buchanan Ave. The male then rode away on a bicycle and was not located. The owner of the vehicle was located and did not believe anything was stolen out of the vehicle, or suspect anyone who may have damaged their vehicle.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a theft which had just occurred. The suspect was located and identified as a 25-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was issued a criminal citation for Theft III and Criminal Trespass I, as he had been previously trespassed from the business.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 2700-block of NW Coolidge Way for what was originally reported as a burglary in progress. The caller reported a female entered a home they knew to be vacation. A 38-year-old female, no fixed address, was located on the back porch of the residence. The residence was vacant with a for sale sign in the front yard. The female claimed the residence was hers, but did not know the address and had no verification she had access to the residence. The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass I and transported to the jail.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespass after returning to a business in the 2400-block of NW Monroe Ave, from which he had been previously trespassed.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- An officer contacted a driver driving the wrong way in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd, who had left the roadway and struck landscaping. It was determined the driver, a 68-year-old female, Portland resident, was having a medical episode. She was treated and transported to the hospital by medics.

April 12th

Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the 500-block of NW Jackson Ave in response to a report of a subject sleeping on the property. The caller requested the subject be removed from the property. Officers arrived at the address and contacted a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, camping on private property. The male refused to leave the property, was arrested, removed from the property, issued a citation, and released.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St to request a subject be trespassed from the business. The caller stated the subject was following employees around, arguing about a return, and filming them. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a 62-year-old male, Corvallis resident. He was issued a trespass notice for the store and released.

Warrant Arrest / Criminal Trespass- Caller reported a subject at their apartment whom they wished to have trespassed. Officers arrived on scene in the 3200-block of SE Midvale Dr and contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was issued a trespass notice for the apartment, and officers learned he also had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant, trespassed from the common areas of the facility, and released.

Trespass- Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave for a report of a male being in the laundry room after previously being trespassed from the property. A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted on the property and confirmed he was previously trespassed. The male was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Trespass II and left the area.

Reckless Driving- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a female in a vehicle chasing a male in a different vehicle around the parking lot. An 18-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the male involved and said the incident stemmed from an argument between him and his girlfriend, an 18-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The female was not on scene, but the male stated his vehicle and her vehicle were nose-to-nose as he was backing up while trying to get away from the female. Officers spoke to the female over the phone, but she refused to return to the business and screamed profanities at the officer. The female was contacted later in the evening and issued a criminal citation for Reckless Driving.

Criminal Mischief- An unknown person kicked a door in and broke a window at an apartment complex in the 300-block of SW B Ave. There were no witnesses to the incident, no cameras in the area, and the suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd.

Burglary / Criminal Mischief / Theft / Hit & Run- Officers responded to a glass break alarm at a smoke shop located in the 800-block of NW 9th St. Responded officers discovered significant damage to the front glass door and protective metal security gate. Officers were able to identify a suspect vehicle and shortly thereafter located the vehicle and the driver at the driver’s residence, due to the fact the suspect used his vehicle to run over the gate and left his license plate behind. The suspect, a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested at this home and charged with Burglary II, Criminal Mischief I, Hit and Run, and Theft II.

April 11th

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 41-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 500-block of SW 5th St and it was determined she had a warrant for her arrest. Upon searching her while under arrest, drug paraphernalia was located on her person. She was issued criminal citations.

Trespass- An officer responded to the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave for a trespass complaint. The officer contacted a 37-year-old male, no fixed address, and trespassed him from the property.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver- Officers responded to the 400-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a crash. It was reported the crash had occurred on Highway 34 and one of the parties involved left without exchanging information, and they ended up in the parking lot. Officers contacted all parties involved and developed probable cause that the individual who left the original scene, an 18-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was under the influence. The male consented to SFSTs and was ultimately arrested. The male was lodged at the jail for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver.

Burglary- An officer took a report of a cold burglary which had occurred in the 200-block of SW Twin Oaks Cir. The caller reported items had been stolen from her trailer prior to it being impounded. There is currently no suspect information.

Theft / Trespass- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a disorderly male refusing to leave. Upon officers’ arrival, they contacted a 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and learned he had stolen a beverage from the business and refused to leave when asked to do so. The caller did not wish to press charges for the theft, but just wished to have the male trespassed from the property. The male was issued a trespass notice and left.

April 10th

Theft- A 25-year-old male, no fixed address, stole a tip jar from a business in the 400-block of NW Harrison Blvd after an argument with staff. The male was located and cited in lieu of custody for Theft III.

Harassment / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to a business in the 2500-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a male who just hit the caller’s mother. The male was located leaving the business and was detained for further investigation. Investigation determined the 64-year-old male, Newport resident, had hit the victim on the left shoulder inside the business. He was arrested for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct II. The male was transported to the Law Enforcement Center due to a jail closure and released on criminal citations.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW Van Buren Ave for a two-vehicle collision. One party was issued a traffic citation, and vehicle debris was removed from the roadway.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine- Officers responded to a complaint of dumpster diving in a parking lot in the 800-block of NW 23rd St. Officers detained a 42-year-old male, Philomath resident, at the scene. The male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

Unlawful Possession of Inhalants- An officer contacted a 40-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Garfield Ave after observing him doing “whip-its” in public. The male was cited for Unlawful Possession of Inhalants.

Human Waste Ordinance Violation- An officer observed a 21-year-old male, Washington resident, urinating on the sidewalk in the 200-block of NW 4th St. The male was issued a citation for Human Waste.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 60-year-old female, Corvallis resident, outside a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The female had several warrants for her arrest. She was issued a citation.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 900-block of SW Jackson Ave for a traffic violation. The driver, a 25-year-old male, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment and performed SFSTs. He was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted two males near SW E Ave and SW 13th St. Both subjects, a 56-year-old male and 51-year-old male, both no fixed address, had warrants for their arrest. Both were issued citations.

April 9th

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd and learned the driver, a 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was driving while criminally suspended. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of SW 3rd St and SW B Ave. The driver, a 48-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and the passenger, a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, were both arrested on their active warrants. The driver was released on a criminal citation and the passenger was transported to the Linn County Jail, where he was lodged.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old male, Portland resident, in the 1900-block of NW Kings Blvd who was the subject of an active warrant. He was released on a criminal citation.

Burglary- Officers responded to a building in the 2700-block of NE Belvue St for a report of a broken out exterior sliding door. The building was cleared, and no one was located inside. This occurred at some point during the previous ten days.

Theft- An officer took a report of a theft at a business in the 1000-block of SW 3rd St. The victim reported they left their wallet in the bathroom of the business, and when they realized and checked the bathroom, the wallet was gone.

Attempted Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle / Interfering with a Police Officer- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of an intoxicated male attempting to enter a vehicle which was not his. The subject, a 24-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was located and initially refused to comply with officer commands and resisted when being handcuffed. The male was ultimately transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, outside a business in the 700-block of NE Circle Blvd. The male had several warrants for his arrest and was issued a citation.

April 8th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- A 24-year-old male, no fixed address, came into the Law Enforcement Center to register as a sex offender. The male had last registered in 2023 and was out of compliance. The male was arrested and booked at the jail.

Hit & Run- Caller reported an unknown person struck their vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd. Video surveillance did not capture the incident and no suspect was identified.

Burglary- Caller reported a historical burglary which occurred at their residence in the 800-block of SW 10th St three days ago. An unknown person broke into the caller’s detached shed and stole a bicycle and athletic equipment. No suspect identified.

Trespass- Officer responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male who was not leaving the property after being asked to do so. A 40-year-old male, Quebec, Canada resident, was contacted and issued a trespass notice from the business.

Trespass- Officers responded to the library for a report of a female who was causing a disturbance. A 19-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was being loud and banging her head on a computer. Library staff did not want the female charged with any crimes but wanted her trespassed from the business. The female was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Burglary- Caller reported a historical burglary at their residence in the 1600-block of NW Highland Dr which had occurred sometime during the last two weeks. Multiple electronic items were stolen from the residence. No suspect was identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted in the 1800-block of NW 9th St on a trespass complaint.

Warrant Arrest- A 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for multiple active warrants after being contacted near NW 15th St and NW Monroe Ave. He was booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on several active warrants after being contacted in the 100-block of SW 2nd St. He was booked at the jail.

Trespass / Open Container- A 42-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for Trespass and Open Container after she was contacted on a trespassing complaint in the 500-block of SW 3rd St.

April 7th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW 21st St for a call for service that was determined to be unfounded. However, upon arrival, officers determined a subject involved, a 39-year-old male, Bend resident, had an active warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Assist Other Agency- The Albany Police Department broadcast a vehicle description for two theft subjects who were headed towards Corvallis. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 300-block of SW 6th St and contacted the two suspects in the same area. The suspects were identified as a 36-year-old female, Corvallis resident, and a 38-year-old male, Albany resident. The male and female were both arrested and turned over to APD.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the library to report a subject who had been previously trespassed was asleep in the building. Officers contacted the 33-year-old male, no fixed address, on the second floor and arrested him for trespassing. He was removed from the building, issued a citation, and released.

Criminal Trespass II / Follow-Up of Criminal Mischief I- Officers were dispatched to the 1200-block of NW 10th St for a subject on the property who had been previously trespassed. Officers arrived and contacted the subject, a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was arrested for trespassing and a previous crime of Criminal Mischief I for which another officer had probable cause. The male was issued citations for both offenses and left the area.

Theft / Trespass / Attempted Assault of a Public Safety Officer- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for theft after he returned to a convenience store in the 2600-block of NW 9th St and stole food items. He attempted to assault the arresting officers when contacted and was placed in the WRAP restraint device. He was booked at the jail.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a report of a crash where a vehicle struck a building in the 1900-block of NW 9th St. There were no injuries to anyone involved, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

April 6th

Criminal Trespass- A business owner called from the 200-block of NW 1st St to report a subject asleep on their property who was not responsive to the owner. An officer arrived at the business and contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, asleep on the property. The male was trespassed from the business and left the area.

Private Indecency- Caller reported her neighbor in the 200-block of NE Conifer Blvd was sunbathing on his back patio nude while visible to other residents in the area. The caller had tried to speak with her neighbor about it, but he said he was allowed to do so, since he was on his property. It was later learned the male had began masturbating as well. The suspect was identified as a 73-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and admitted to the indecent act because it aroused him that he knew the caller could see him. The male was taken into custody for Private Indecency and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 24-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at the Skate Park. The female had multiple warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 36-year-old male, Philomath resident, was contacted at a business in the 1100-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report he was refusing to leave the business. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody and a trespass notice for the business.

April 5th

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a subject yelling for help. Officers located a 63-year-old male, no fixed address, who needed medical assistance. Officers called for medical assistance from Corvallis Fire medics. During the interaction, officers learned the male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrants.

Criminal Trespass- An employee called from the 400-block of NW 2nd St to request a subject be trespassed from the business. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 67-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was upset about a perceived discrepancy in his bill. The male was trespassed from the business and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW Reiman Ave for what was initially reported as a menacing with a knife. The caller reported a male flashed a knife at her, and the male was still in the area. The suspect was identified as a 38-year-old male, no fixed address. It was determined the male never threatened the caller with the knife, but showed the knife to the caller while it was in his waistband and said, “look what I’ve got.” The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Disorderly Conduct II.

Hit and Run- Caller reported an unknown person hit her vehicle while it was parked outside her residence in the 2700-block of NE Lancaster Ave, causing minor scratches. There were no cameras in the area, and a suspect was not identified.

Warrant Arrest- A 52-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at his residence in the 900-block of NW Sycamore Ave during a follow up investigation. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old male and 58-year-old male, both no fixed address, were each cited on their respective warrants when contacted in the 1500-block of NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 58-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted at the intersection of NW 2nd St and NW Monroe Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female and a 37-year old male, both no fixed address, were taken into custody on their respective warrants after being contacted near Central Park. The male attempted to flee on his bike and was ultimately taken into custody and additionally charged with Interfering. He was booked at the jail.

April 4th

Disorderly Conduct x2 / Improper Use of 911- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, entered a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St, claiming someone had been shot. Employees called 911 on the male’s behalf and handed him the phone, at which point the male hung up on the dispatcher and left the area. The male was later contacted by police in the 1500-block of SW Avery Park Dr after telling passersby someone had tried to shoot him. The male was arrested and transported to jail for two counts of Disorderly Conduct II and Improper Use of 911.

Fraud- Officers contacted a resident in the 4200-block of NW Duniway Dr who had a credit card account fraudulently created in their name.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the parking lot of a business in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of an intoxicated male in the parking lot with his pants down. The 56-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for an active warrant, transported to the hospital for jail clearance, and then transported to the jail.

Menacing / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Wake Robin Ave for a report of a female who smashed a window of a vehicle with a baseball bat and then swung the bat at a male who came out of the apartment complex. Officers detained a 37-year-old female, Corvallis resident, on arrival. Investigation determined the female had swung a baseball bat at the windshield of a vehicle and was throwing belongings out around the vehicle. She then ran at an unidentified male who came out of the apartment complex and swung the baseball bat a him before the male disarmed her. She was arrested and released on criminal citations at the Law Enforcement Center due to a temporary jail closure.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 24-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 400-block of SW 3rd St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was issued a criminal citation.

Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to the 700-block of SW 14th St for a report of a domestic disturbance. One party left the scene during the response but was later contacted at their residence. The investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action.

Attempted Theft- Officers responded to a residence in the 900-block of NW Cleveland Ave for a report of a male who came onto the caller's property and tried to steal a travel rack for a vehicle, before dropping it in the front yard and leaving the area. The male was not located during the initial response, but later in the shift the 72-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was located and arrested for Attempted Theft II.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave who had sent a few hundred dollars to an unknown individual online as part of a scam. 

Menacing / Criminal Mischief I / Unlawful Use of a Weapon / Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW Avery Ave for a report of a male damaging a parked vehicle with a pole and entering the vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old male, no fixed address, who was still inside the victim’s vehicle. The male was detained without incident, and there was significant damage to the victim’s vehicle. Investigation revealed the suspect threatened the vehicle owner with a large pole before damaging the victim’s vehicle and entering the vehicle. The male was booked into jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the area of NW 4th St and NW Monroe Ave for a bicycle lying in the road. Officers arrived and contacted a 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who appeared heavily intoxicated. The male stated he had been riding an electric bike in the road while heavily intoxicated and did a “wheelie,” causing him to fall into the roadway. The male was ultimately arrested for DUII. The male was booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 34-year-old female, Corvallis resident, at NW 1st St and NW Van Buren Ave. The female had two warrants for her arrest, and was issued citations.

Fight- Officers responded to the 100-block of NW 15th St for a report of a fight. Officers arrived on scene and contacted some of the people involved, learning a physical altercation occurred outside a nearby bar, resulting in minor injuries to some involved. Everyone on scene provided conflicting statements. A case number was taken for documentation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 60-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 800-block of NW 9th St. The male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation.

April 3rd

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle which hit a non-structural wall of a complex in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave.

Domestic Disturbance- Officers responded to the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a domestic disturbance. One individual left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival but was located in the area. Investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped a vehicle at NW Harrison Blvd and NW 2nd St for a traffic violation. The driver, a 58-year-old male, Philomath resident, showed signs of impairment and was ultimately taken into custody for DUII.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped a vehicle near SW 53rd and SW Reservoir Ave for a traffic violation. When asked, the driver, a 45-year-old female, Corvallis resident, provided drug paraphernalia to the officer. She was issued a citation for PCS-Methamphetamine.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Hit & Run / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to the area of the 1400-block of NW Monroe Ave for a hit and run crash. The suspect vehicle struck a parked car and left the area. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance away, and the driver appeared intoxicated. The driver, a 22-year-old male, Corvallis resident, performed SFSTs and was arrested for DUII.

Theft / Prowler Complaint- Officers responded to the 6200-block of SW Grand Oaks Dr for a report of a prowler. Two males were seen on camera walking through an apartment complex, taking bikes and parts from bikes. One of the stolen bikes was located abandoned next to a set of stairs leading to the apartment complex. The suspects were not located.

April 2nd

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 100-block of NW 12th St for a trespass complaint. A 54-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted and it was determined he had several warrants for his arrest. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation between a male and female in the 200-block of SW 2nd St. A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was detained and it was determined no physical altercation had occurred. However, the male was transported to the jail for his outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male who stole items and ran from the business. He was not located during the initial response.

Reckless Burning- Officers took a report from a resident in the 300-block of NW 18th St of flowers and a note which were lit on fire on concrete stairs outside of the residence, approximately a month and a half ago.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 1000-block of NW Monroe Ave after responding to a report of an argument. The male had a warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 45-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 200-block of NW 3rd St. The male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Linn County Jail.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- Officers responded to the 100-block of SW Tunison Ave for a vehicle which crashed into a parked car. A 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was identified as the driver and an officer observed indicators of impairment. The male also admitted to using Methadone earlier in the day. The male initially refused tests, but eventually performed some of the SFSTs. The male was taken into custody for DUII.

April 1st

Aggravated Harassment- Caller reported a male was drinking alcohol in the Corvallis Public Library. The 33-year-old male, Salem resident, walked out of the library and thew one of the alcohol containers on the ground as officers arrived on scene. The male resisted as one of the officers attempted to detain him. Multiple officers responded to assist taking the male into custody. The male attempted to kick one of the responding officers and spit on another officer after he was detained. The male was placed in a WRAP restraint device and transported to the jail for Aggravated Harassment, Attempted Assault on a Public Safety Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct II, and Littering.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 500-block of NW 4th St for a report of multiple individuals who climbed out of a second story window onto the roof. It was determined all of the individuals lived at the residence. A 44-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was contacted had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on two active warrants after being contacted near SW 4th St and SW Jefferson Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old female, Nevada resident, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted on a traffic stop near NW 9th St and NW Cornell Ave.

Warrant Arrest- A 34-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on active warrants after being contacted on a trespass complaint at a convenience store in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St. He was booked at the jail.

March 31st

Criminal Trespass- A business owner called from the 1700-block of SW 3rd St to report a subject sleeping on the business property whom they wanted to be trespassed. An officer arrived at the location and contacted a 26-year-old male, no fixed address, on the property. The male was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 2400-block of SE 3rd St for an unrelated investigation. During the investigation, the officer contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer attempted to stop an altered moped in the downtown area. The moped did not stop, and the subject was contacted in the 100-block of NW Jackson St and identified as a 27-year-old male, Corvallis resident The male was issued a citation for Driving While Suspended and released.

Warrant Arrest- A subject came to the Law Enforcement Center and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. The 29-year-old male, Oak Grove resident, was issued a citation and released.

Elude (on foot) / Theft II- Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a shoplifter concealing items on their person inside the store. As officers were responding to the area, the suspect fled the store with the merchandise, running northeast. Officers arrived in the area, located the suspect, and pursued him, eventually capturing him near the HP fence line. The officer arrested the suspect and identified him as a 32-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was arrested and booked into jail.

Theft- Caller reported she had a necklace and medication stolen from the bedroom of her residence in the 300-block of NW 25th St. There are multiple people who live in the residence, and it is unknown the exact time the items were taken.

Fraud- Victim reported he was contacted by computer scammers posing as various businesses and banks who were defrauding him of money. He was able to contact his own bank and cancel the transfer of most of the funds.

Vicious Dog Complaint- Victims reported a loose dog killed their cat while it was in their yard in the 300-block of NW 31st St. The officer subsequently located the dog, and then the dog’s owner. The dog owner was cited.

Failure to Carry and Present a Driver’s License / Driving While Suspend (Violation)- A 28-year-old female, Portland resident, was detained following a traffic stop after the officer was unable to initially identify her. The driver was finally identified and was determined to have a suspended license.

Warrant Arrest- A 66-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited on several active warrants after being contacted on an unknown problem complaint at an apartment complex in the 400-block of SW Monroe Ave.

March 30th

Menacing / Disorderly Conduct / Interfering with a Peace Officer / Criminal Trespass- Officers were dispatched to the area of SW Washington Ave and SW Western Blvd for a report of a subject, previously trespassed, back on the business property. The caller also reported the subject was throwing rocks at passing vehicles and threatening people. As officers arrived in the area, the subject, a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, ran from officers and was located on a city bus. The male was arrested and booked into the jail.

Attempted Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Caller reported an unknown person attempted to break into her vehicle while it was parked outside a business in the 2100-block of NW 9th St. The caller came out to their vehicle and found one of the door handles was damaged, and it appeared someone was trying to pry the door open. The incident was captured on video.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1100-block of NW 9th St. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted at her residence in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd. The female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to the Jackson Frazier Wetlands for a report of a female who was drinking alcohol in her vehicle. A 61-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was contacted and was visibly intoxicated. She admitted to drinking alcohol since her vehicle was parked. The female was instructed not to driver her vehicle, due to her intoxication. Officers waited in the area and a short time later, the female was observed driving away. The female was stopped for a traffic violation. After performing SFSTs, the female was taken into custody for DUII and Reckless Driving. She was transported to the jail.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male causing a disturbance at the business. A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect and was issued a trespass notice from the business.

Warrant Arrest- A 39-year-old female and a 48-year-old male, both no fixed address, were cited on active warrants after being contacted in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd.

Disorderly Conduct / Interfering with a Peace Officer- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with a Peace Officer after officers responded to a complaint at a convenience store in the 2600-block of NW 9th St. He was booked at the jail.

March 29th

Warrant Arrest- Officers were in the 1700-block of NW 9th St in response to an illegal camp when they contacted a 44-year-old female, no fixed address, with an active warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Criminal Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of people setting up camp on private property. The officers arrived in the area and contacted four people at the camp. All four people were issued trespass notices for the property. A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was found to have warrants for his arrest. He was issued a citation per the court’s request. All parties left the property.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A caller reported someone “drinking and driving” in the 100-block of NE Conifer Blvd. An officer responded to the area and contacted the suspect vehicle. The officer identified the driver as a 61-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The driver consented to SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Shoplift- A loss prevention employee for a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd reported they had a female shoplifter in custody. A 56-year-old female, Florence resident, was identified as the suspect and found to have warrants for her arrest. The female was taken into custody for her warrants as well as Theft II and was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at SW 3rd St and SW Western Blvd. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Theft / Warrant Arrest- Caller reported a 32-year-old male, no fixed address, walked out on an $80 meal purchase the previous week at their business in the 100-block of SW 2nd St. The male had returned and tried to purchase food again and it was determined he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Shoplift I and the warrant.

Theft- Victim reported the theft of furniture items left outside their residence in the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr.

March 28th

Franchise Requirement- A 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for dumpster diving in the 2100-block of NW Janssen St.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Non-Injury)- Officers responded to the intersection of NW Walnut Blvd and NW Princess Dr for a report of a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 63-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 2300-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of multiple warrants. She was arrested and transported to the jail, where she was lodged.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near NW Century Dr and NW Kings Blvd. The driver, a 32-year-old female, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment and performed SFSTs. She was ultimately arrested for DUII.
