Alarm Permits

City of Corvallis ordinance requires all businesses and residences (within the City limits) with alarm systems to have a permit on file with the Corvallis Police Department. These annual permits cost $20. Alarm permit applications may be completed online or by contacting Central Square at 866-429-7340. You can also reach a staff member at the police department by calling 541-766-6526 for further assistance. 

Rideshare and Taxicab Licenses

City of Corvallis ordinance requires any person who operates a rideshare or taxicab for hire upon the streets of the City to have a license. The licenses are available through the Corvallis Police Department. Sound Permits

The Corvallis Police Department is charged with issuing amplified sound permits in accordance with Corvallis Municipal Ordinance 82-77, 5.03.030.030. There is a $5, nonrefundable fee for this permit.

Temporary Liquor or Special Event License

The Corvallis Police Department reviews and makes recommendations to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) to approve or deny Temporary Liquor (including wine and beer) ore Special Event Licenses. Complete and submit an application form to the Corvallis Police Department Records Unit located at 180 NW 5th Street or call (541) 766-6924, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Parade Permits

The City of Corvallis requires all parade events or events of a similar nature to obtain a permit through the Corvallis Police Department.
