2026 Corvallis Forest Tour

Every spring, Public Works organizes a free tour of Corvallis Forest so the public can visit and learn about the Forest's essential role in source water protection. This is a special opportunity, because the Forest is generally closed to the public for the protection of the water supply. The tour offers a great opportunity to visit and learn about the forest.

This year's tour will take place on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026.

Guests will meet at 4:00 PM at City Hall for a firm 4:30 departure, and the tour will return to City Hall around 8:00 PM.

Space is limited, and sign-ups are first come, first serve. RSVP is required.

The guided tour will take place via bus and also involve walking on gravel roads (less than a half mile, slight incline). We will provide snacks and the tour will take place rain or shine, so we recommend bringing water and layers - weather in the forest can vary significantly from weather in town (it gets chilly!).
