Neighborhood Bikeway Prioritization and Scoping Project
This project will prioritize the City’s eleven Neighborhood Bikeway projects identified in the City's Transportation System Plan, and develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for the top five projects. Developing these projects will support the City in more accurately planning, budgeting and speeding up implementation of the next five Neighborhood Bikeway projects as these will be the projects included in the five-year Capital Improvement Program.
Project Timeline
July 2026: 30% Design
August 2026: Public Open House (In-person & virtual) for Conceptual Design
September 2026: Final Concept Design
Fall 2026: Final Scoping Study
Evaluation Methodology and Top 5 Neighborhood Bikeway Memo
With feedback from the community from the Prioritization Open House (in-person and online) in March, we developed the Neighborhood Bikeway Evaluation Methodology and Results memo with the help of our transportation consultant. Next steps include designing the top 5 Neighborhood Bikeway’s listed in the Memo up to 30% and hosting another in-person and online open house to hear input on the designs.
Neighborhood Bikeway Prioritization Open House
The City of Corvallis conducted a public open house on March 31st, 2026 with City of Corvallis Public Works staff on hand to discuss the prioritization of the remaining eleven Neighborhood Bikeway projects.
City staff also conducted an online open house from March 31st through April 14th. The deadline to participate has concluded.
Though the time for initial input has closed, you may still view the presentation boards available from both open houses.
