DRAFT 2026 Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan (CFSP)
The draft of the 2026 Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan (CFSP) was presented at the October 29, 2025, Task Force meeting. Developed by the City of Corvallis and Trout Mountain Forestry, the draft is currently under review by the Task Force. The Task Force will submit their comments to the City and Trout Mountain Forestry by November 30, 2025. The Task Force will then reconvene on January 20, 2026, to review the Task Force's comments, along with any community input received.
The City remains dedicated to transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation, welcoming community feedback at every stage of the process. Public involvement has been a key component of the planning effort and will continue during this phase of the Stewardship Plan revision. Community members are encouraged to share comments, ideas, or questions at any time by emailing the Task Force at cfsputf@corvallisoregon.gov for consideration. Community input helps shape the plan and ensure it reflects our shared values.
After the Task Force completes its review, a formal 30-day public comment period will commence in early 2026, prior to the plan's presentation to the City Council for review and approval. Details about future meetings and the project timeline will be shared during Task Force meetings and through the City’s public communication channels, such as e-subscribe.
