Analysis of Impediments
The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) allocates federal funds to state and local governments as well as non-profit organizations to support community development and increase access to fair and equal housing. As a recipient of these federal funds, the City of Corvallis commits itself to affirmatively furthering fair housing and prepares an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) to demonstrate its actions towards this commitment.
The AI examines local housing conditions, economics, and policies that may present barriers to housing choice and offers strategies to address these barriers. The strategies are intended to help policy makers, government staff, housing providers, lenders and the broader community advance fair and inclusive housing for the Corvallis community.
