Hello to the New Finance Director - Ryan Seidl has been hired as the new Finance Department Director for the City of Corvallis. Seidl will begin work today. Learn more.
City Un-housed Camping Policy Update - January 19 - The City Council will receive an update on its recent policy directives regarding camping initiatives for the un-housed. The staff reports includes detailed information regarding tent camping at the BMX park and RV and tent camping at Pioneer Park. It also poses several questions for the City Council to consider prior to a February 1 regular meeting in which staff will seek further direction. Read the Camping Policy Update.
OSU Campus Vision Community Events - January 21 and 26 @ online - Oregon State University invites Corvallis-area community members to join a virtual update on the OSU Campus Vision. A presentation of the OSU Campus Vision is tentatively scheduled for the City Council work session on February 4.

Know Your City Virtual Events - January 21 & 28 @ 7p @ online - The League of Women Voters of Corvallis, in partnership with the City of Corvallis, is sponsoring a two-part virtual speaker series in January 2021.

Circle Boulevard Road Diet Feedback - A Road Diet is generally described as removing vehicle lanes from a roadway and reallocating the extra space for other uses or traveling modes, such as parking, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, transit, turn lanes, medians or pedestrian refuge islands. Circle Boulevard represents Corvallis' first major road diet pilot and Public Works is interested in your feedback. Learn more and provide feedback.

South Corvallis Inter-Neighborhood Meeting - January 25 @ 6:30p @ online - Living Southtown will host a virtual community meeting with Councilors Lytle and Maughan. The event will bring southtowners together to discuss the Southtown experience regarding the growing un-housed population in the neighborhood, capture collective concerns, and identify strategies that address the impacts and ensure a healthy community for all. West Hills Neighborhood Association Meeting with Ward Councilors - February 25 @ 6p @ online - WHNA will host a meeting with City Council representatives Jan Napack (Ward 1) and Gabe Shepherd (Ward 4). The councilors will offer a broad overview of what is going on in the City, both city-wide, and on a Ward-level. Topics will include (1) what the Council is working on right now, and (2) what it will be working on in the future, and (3) upcoming public participation opportunities.
