Leaf Collection Schedule 2021 - Our Public Works team coordinates a Fall Leaf Collection Program every year that begins in mid October and runs through mid December. During this time, Republic Services picks up leaf piles placed in the street once a week, generally on the same day as your normal garbage collection. We ask for your help to ensure success:
- Rake leaves into piles on the street the evening before your scheduled leaf pick-up day.
- Do not rake leaves into curbside bike lanes. Please use your yard debris cart if there is a bike lane in front of your residence.
- Place leaf piles one foot from the curb to allow space for rain water to runoff along the curb line.
- Make sure leaves do not block catch basins or storm drains.
- Avoid parking vehicles near leaf piles, as Republic Services cannot collect leaves blocked by vehicles.

Fair Housing 101 for Landlords (and HOAs) - October 14 @ 6p - Corvallis' Housing & Neighborhood Services Division is hosting a free online event for local rental property owners. Federal, state, and local fair housing laws prohibit rental housing owners, property managers, and landlords from discriminating against certain groups in any aspect of residential renting activities, including advertising, screening, and management. This 2-hour online event is designed to help rental housing providers assess their business practices and ensure compliance with fair housing laws. The Fair Housing Council of Oregon (FHCO) will offer real-world examples and guiding principles on topics such as advertising, screening criteria, reasonable accommodations, companion animals, protected classes, and criminal history. This is also an excellent course for those involved in HOAs. Register to attend.
