About the Neighborhood

Arnold Park holds an annual general meeting each fall in Arnold Park and the elected board meets quarterly. The neighborhood routinely participates in National Night Out and is considered a leader among neighborhoods for their work in Emergency Preparedness.  Arnold Park Neighborhood has received Neighborhood Empowerment Grant funds to support the construction of a neighborhood information kiosk and for emergency planning using a "micro-neighborhood" format. Current interests include emergency preparedness, OSU property and facilities, new development off Harrison Blvd, and traffic and bus service.

Boundaries: Boundaries are established by formal bylaws. East by the center line of NW 36th Street from Harrison Blvd to NW Lincoln Avenue; to the north by properties abutting NW Lincoln Avenue; to the west by Arnold Park and properties abutting NW Clarence Circle and NW Westwood Place; and to the south by the center line of NW Harrison Blvd from NW 36th to the western boundary of Arnold Park.
