Fair Housing law ensures that everyone has equal access to housing, free from discrimination. These laws apply to all aspects of the housing process, including advertising, applications, screenings, leasing, occupancy, and eviction.
This training will cover the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA)’s curriculum requirements, including Fair Housing Law basics (federal and state protected classes, types of housing discrimination, examples, etc.), important updates such as SB599, and some information on the results of recent fair housing testing conducted in Corvallis by the Fair Housing Council of Oregon (FHCO).
