About the Neighborhood
The Garfield Park Neighborhood Association was established in 2008. The neighborhood holds five general meetings per year and is home to two schools, a park and both the Aquatic Center and the Boys and Girls Club. The association's primary means of communication is door-to-door and limited email. Current interests include maintaining Garfield Park as open space, encouraging low-income access to open space, and traffic in residential areas.
Boundaries: Boundaries are established by formal bylaws. 14th St to the west, Circle Blvd to the north, Highland Ave (both sides) to the east, back to Grant Ave on the south.
