A free 2-hour online training focused on fair housing laws and responsibilities as they relate to housing discrimination.

Fair Housing law ensures that everyone has equal access to housing, free from discrimination. These laws apply to all aspects of the housing process, including advertising, applications, screenings, leasing, occupancy, and eviction.
This training will cover Fair Housing Law basics, including all relevant protected classes. We will also discuss implementing fair housing principles in property management, including: 

  • Fair housing and advertising
  • Common fair housing mistakes during screening
  • Landlord responsibilities in tenant-on-tenant acts of hate and harassment
  • Fair housing best practices
